VidaCann - have bought flower from them when it was an amazing deal. Unfortunately the deal was great and the flower wasn't. I haven't bought from them since.

Got an email this morning saying Tropicanna Haze Flower (Sativa) is 25% off 3/12/2021 and cannot be combined with other offers. THC 28.42% and CBD .096%. If it weren't for the THC % I wouldn't have mentioned this....its the highest THC % I've ever seen from VidaCann. At $50 and 25% off that would bring an eight to $37.50

I still havnt tried Vidacaan - there is one here in Gainesville and I just cant ever get the motivation to go in. I came really close when the Gelato was BOGO - but had just picked up almost an Oz and didnt want it to dry to dust.

I paid a trip to my old fav Curaleaf. They had $25 eighths, and I was happy with the two eighths of Layer Cake I got there recently. All 4 have similar THC percentage, look, and smell. They seem like a good choice for $25.



The Strawberry Diesel is 16.4%



Citrus Farmer at 14.5%



Grape Diamonds at 13.6%. That giant stem was a bummer.



And Lilac Diesel at 16.2%

Edit: I’ve now tried all four, and am very happy with the purchase. They all had good effects and flavor; nothing mind blowing burn easily worth the $25 price tag. I’ll definitely be adding Curaleaf back to my regular rotation.

On a related note, I like the Galactic Candy I got from Grow Healthy the first week in March. It's apparently a variation of Jilly Bean. I don't like the naming scheme though. There was a different variation of Durban Dawg (Durban Funk) that was there too. I picked up a Jilly Bean and a Galactic Candy but I'm not the best at tasting the difference. I love Jilly Bean though, so it's no surprise the Galactic Candy hits the spot.

I always throw a bovida 62% pack in with my flower; I feel like it gives better vapor production and releases flavors. Could be a placebo, but I’ll keep doing it. I’ve been so happy with all the different strains I got at Curaleaf. I can’t believe the THC percentages are so low with how great the effects are. And they all produce a lot of vapor, with good taste. The cure is spot on to my novice eyes.

Another visit to Curaleaf for the buy 3 get one free; I needed a syringe to fill a cart for the rare occasion I hit one, and added 3 eighths as well. I’m almost done with the four I got there previously, and was very satisfied with the quality and price.

I've tried the Truclear and the Truclear CO2....I'm not big on these type of concentrates and wasn't overly impressed when I did. Haven't tried the Truwax.

Truwax is probably the best non-rosin concentrate I've tried in the program. I'd still skip it at $60 a gram, but for $40 a gram it's a great tasting full spectrum option.

I did my first Curaleaf delivery today to take advantage of the current 25% off of $150-$350 (it's 20% off under $150). Last time I was in, the driver was there and told me about their free, typically same-day, delivery. I placed the order online around 1:30, and had it delivered just before 5. The driver said now that I saw how quick he can get it to me, I'm hooked. He might be right. Very nice.



First is Orange Kush Cake at 17%. I was excited for this one, I've liked all the Cake variants I've tried so far. It smells good, but the buds fell apart in the container. That's a bummer.



Next is Strawberry Diesel at 18%. I've enjoyed this one the two times I've got it, it's a good energetic hybrid. This is what I expect now from Curaleaf as far as cure and trim.



Last is Mandarin Cookies at 14%. I just had a Terp Torch bowl of this, and really enjoyed it despite it being 14% cannabinoids and 0.6% terpenes. It leaves a orange terp coating in my mouth that tastes great.

Yeah, it was smooth as could be. I also got a Layer Cake select elite live cart. I don’t hit carts often anymore, but when I do I like the select elite live ones. They just have better flavor than any other I’ve tried here in FL. Or I’ll fill my own with a GDP truclear syringe from Trulieve. It’s the only syringe, non-live, distillate I’ve thought tasted amazing. Even the other strains of the cheaper truclear, and the more expensive truclear co2, don’t taste that good to me. They seem to lack substantial flavor. I haven’t tried them all, but I have tried 5 or 6.

I use mine in a Yocan Uni Pro so I can adjust the voltage down to enjoy the live resin flavor. I like it between 2.4-2.7v. All the dispensary batteries have the voltage cranked way up so you use more product, and don’t get much flavor.

The terpenes themselves are probably from fresh frozen flower, but you're likely not getting the full spectrum experience that true live resin offers. This makes for better tasting carts though.

I don't think we'll see real live resin until hydrocarbon extractions start coming online.

I’m 99% sure your 99% number is accurate. But it tastes just as good, from the one single real live resin cart I’ve had while in CO. Or, more likely, I couldn’t tell the difference. A true cannaisseur would probably be able to.

Oh for sure. The terps are going to make it taste just as good. I just don't care for the marketing terminology. Companies in Cali pulled the same thing. In my opinion, a "live resin" cart shouldn't have any distillate in it.

I wonder how much they'll charge for a full spectrum LR or "sauce" cart.

I guess it comes down to the wording used by Curaleaf. I just re-read the description "combines high quality THC oil and live resin from frozen flower". I initially interpreted the wording to be "THC oil from frozen flower and live resin from frozen flower" instead of "THC oil distillate mixed with live resin from frozen flower". I didn't even have my weed goggles on and still misinterpreted it.

It still sounds better than the CO2 and standard carts though.

It's the first time I've ordered delivery from them, I went there a single time before and got some Queso Perro minis that were almost legendary. I live in Miami, not out in the boonies or anything so a week for delivery felt a bit ridic but whatever, I'm not ordering because I'm out, thankfully. There is actually a GH store 15 mins from me, I tried the delivery because I've heard other people online recently say they get same day delivery from GH so I thought I'd give it a shot. I don't know maybe I just had bad luck with the delivery time.

Now, as to what I received: I ordered a couple Eights of Wookie Girl and they are all labeled as being only 13.4%. They are pretty dry nugs also. Now. I'm not a snob or anything and I doubt I or most people can tell the difference between 13.4% and 17% herb but... waiting a week for my delivery and receiving the lowest % I've seen in a while sure wasn't my favorite ordering experience.

They don’t delivery from the North Miami Grow Healthy location, it comes from Deerfield. Must be a hub or something. I was pretty disappointed with my last batch of Wookie Girl as well, and am currently going through a half of Stardawg. I’m letting the 1/4 I have left sit with a bovida 62% pack for a few days to rehydrate while I enjoy the Curaleaf order I just got.

I’ve noticed Grow Healthy flower has been drier, lower THC, and lower terpenes recently. Don’t know why, but I haven’t been thrilled with most strains from there recently. The exception was White 99, which hasn’t been in stock during a sale since. Nor has Queso Pero.

Edit: Ha! I just got a notification from the potbot that a half oz of Queso Pero is in stock. Ironic. But I don’t need any, I’m flush.

I've also ordered a strain at a certain THC% and received the strain with a lower THC% on delivery. Most of the time I get the same THC% I ordered. I've never got a higher THC% than I ordered though. The wording on the site I ordered from said I might receive a different THC% than what I ordered so I can't say I wasn't aware it could happen but I don't like it one bit.

If I ordered a strain at 20% THC and received the strain at 10% THC I should be able to reduce the price by the % drop in THC...in this case 50%. I selected that strain based on THC%. If they can reduce the % of THC I ordered I should be able to pay them the same way.

If I ordered a strain at 20% THC and got something in the upper teens I'd be cool about it. A 50% drop in THC % would be a different thing all together and they could either take it back and refund me or drop the price accordingly. Actually I would rather just return something with a 50% difference like that.

I was just looking at some of the Trulieve Cultivar Collection flower THC%. Full price is $58 an 1/8th. Too pricey but I have to admit it's pretty good. When the stars and the discounts align I stock up and have been able to get an 1/8th for as low as $37 and $40. Well actually...just to be clear, I should have said I've been able to "order" for as low as $37 and $40 because getting the order itself can be interesting.

The reason for this post though is the THC%. I have to believe the THC% is correct because it would be beyond stupid for any dispensary to play with the numbers. But damn! These are some lofty THC%! I don't see these kinds of THC% consistently at any of the other dispensaries.

Hey how does it work with these guys and disclosing the THC% of their flower? Does it tell you the % for the batch/strain you are ordering? I've been put off ordering delivery lately because of the gamble of what will actually arrive at my door.
