@shredder I'm putting it normal, bottom down, with great results. Don't you get material stuck on the sides bottom up ?
The difference between bottom up or down was not great, and with the screen bottom down it did hold more than bottom of the screen up. That (more herb) may also be responsible for the difference I noticed.
I preferred the bottom up. The space between the screen and the bowl does hold some abv, but the included tool gets it out easy. I actually had more abv sticking to the screen sides with the basket bottom down.
I started experimenting because the stock screen got dirty and affected performance after two bowls. I didn't expect a big difference in performance. The performance difference is pretty big though.
I've been changing screens and cleaning the vape parts when I swap batteries at 5 or 6 bowls. But no doubt I could go longer.
Edit I don't post pics here cause it's a pita. Sorry.
I made the basket screens from 3/4" screens to work in my underdog. I used a socket the same diameter as the stem/bowl and pressed the screen into a slightly bigger socket. Then I trimmed the basket skirt to 3/16 of an inch with trimming scissors.
