The FW9 does very well with bowls of flower with a bit of hash. However, the hash stains the ceramic bowls. Not much a problem with the FW9 as it has removable bowls. (I have 2 bowls dedicated for flower/hash bowls.) Since the FatX does not have a removable bowl, I would not run any hash through it. But I am guessing it would work well if keeping the device clean was not a concern.
