My main concern would be it fitting, I can always adjust my temps.
Where is that one from? Have you measured the regular screens?

I have not measured. That is just some random pic off the web.Where is that one from? Have you measured the regular screens?
Vape Dr. really got me interested in this one. I am hoping that they create a version 2 that does not need me to modify and DIY. It takes me an hour to setup my girlfriends ikea furniture, when it should prob take 20 mins.
@mixchu69 The ESV DOES come out of the box ready to vape, and vape like a boss in stock form.
However, after you put some hours on the unit and you feel comfortable with your ESV, the ESV can be fine tuned to perform to your personal specifications.
Think of this as a bonus, not many other vapes are this versatile IMO. You can have an already awesome unit that works great, then dial it in to exactly how you would like it to function, as if you made the unit yourself. This is great for those of us who just love to tinker and have fun with our vapes.
Think of it like this.
It is kind of like tuning a car engine. The engine can run like a champ, but if you are familiar with the engine you can get better performance from the same engine as long as you know what your doing and are familiar with the engine.
IMHO I think you will be amazed with the performance of the ESV right out of the box without tweaking or playing around with.
@thotfukr, with regards to your post in the alfa, I thought I would post this here.
Some people have reported their camera lens gets dirty fast. IMO it is because the chamber lid screen is too coarse.
Yes, using 2 chamber lid screens helps tremendously, but the herb can stick to the coarseness of the screen which makes stirring necessary.
To alleviate having to stir (if you do not have the stir lid) a finer screen is necessary IMHO.
Here are 2 tricks I use:
Under fill your chamber. Fill your chamber fluffy just up to the silver ring, not past it. I also use a medium grind.
Make your own fine screen chamber lid screen. It's easy and I will show you how.
DIY chamber lid screen.
Get a 3/4" fine screen and use an EGO battery to conform the screen around it so it looks like a bottle cap.
You want it look like a bottle cap.
You take your allen head screw and chamber lid screens out. When you put the bottle cap screen on the chamber lid it screens twice. It will cover and screen the top portion, and the bottle cap sides will screen the slots on the side that go into the cooling chamber.
I find this to be extremely efficient and keep the unit super clean.
It acts as two screens.
This is very easy to do, works absolutely amazing, as well as keeping the camera portion of your ESV super clean.
I hope this helps you guys out. If your down to do 2 minutes worth of work, it will be worth it.
I don't understand how this helps keep the sensor clear?
IMO, it's the screens underneath the material that allow bits and pieces of herb to slip through.
And if the screens, and double screen placement, provided by the company itself isn't good enough, then... well... I don't have anything to say about that.
When you take a draw, it is the air being pulled through the cooling chamber that adjusts the air flow over the camera lens. It is not pulling the air through the oven chamber.
This is not because the company didn't produce a quality product as you are insinuating, this is the way it works.
My grind is not too fine.
Then please explain to me how the material goes away from the sensor, through the "cooling chamber" (first I've heard about it) and then ends up back on the sensor, which is right by the coil that is providing the heat.
I'm not insinuating anything, my friend. And I'm not insinuating anything despite the cost of my unit.
I guess I was under the impression that I didn't have to be a tech geek to enjoy the ESV.
For example is it more desirable to have a stirring lid or a top screen, since they can't coexist?
However you can poke a hole in the fine screen and still use your stir attachment as well.
