Okay you asked for it lol; I really wanted to like this vape. But calling it an e-pipe is spot on ime so far, with the caveat that it doesn't even burn evenly. This represents my typical experience with the esv so far:
I got the body back but not the promised replacement bowl section, so I'm still using the defective bowl that the magnets popped out of. Even if my first draw doesn't combust, I get a wimpy hit and stir and then it combusts. I tried turning the software temp down as far as it can go, and I've opened it up and adjusted the coil repeatedly. So far, the balance between wimpy hits and combustion has escaped me.
The above load is packed reasonably tight, but believe me I tried my esv with both a looser and a tighter pack. The bowl size is quite small to begin with, about the size of my single infinity/cloud etc. hits. The fact that the esv is only capable of extracting one side of the load makes this doubly frustrating. And I know what you mean by inefficient; at least I can take all of my half-combusted, half-green loads and dump them into my infinity bowl to finish them off, but that's far from ideal. In fact I'm sick of it.
I have misplaced the tiny hex wrench 3 times, which along with a jeweler's screwdriver and a set of very small needlenose pliers is necessary to try and adjust this thing. And if you misplace one of the special screws you're done. I've been wasting time, money and herb on this for a couple of days now, and I'm done with it. Kudos to those that are getting good results with their esv's, but I am definitively not one of them. I'm tired of combusting with it, I'm tired of messing with it, and at this point I'm sorry I bought it.
