Cloudy...
Did you have to send them a picure of your ID and credit card?
That's what I was asked for, which is a bit suspicious. I never had to do this before.
No, but I ordered from Randy at puffitup.com, best vape shop ever!

Does a Polish ID card even have an address on it? As far as I know that's just an American thing.I live in Poland (Europe)
This is what Kyle from VAPORNATION wrote to me:
"Thanks for your recent order with Vapor Nation.
Since this is an International Order, our Merchant Bank holds us responsible for any fraudulent Orders. As a result, shipment of your order has been delayed.
In order to continue with the processing and shipment of your order, our Merchant Bank requires that we confirm the order directly with the customer.
Please send us a photo copy of the Credit Card with the last four digits fully visible for verification, you can block out the first twelve digits for your own security.
Also include a copy of your ID with the shipping address clearly visible."
So I did and blocked out (is that the proper fraze?) other significant information and facial pictures.
I wonder what would happen if the shipping address was different than my ID address?
@b0
I cant see Elevape on PIU website.
It sounds like people are starting to customize their esv experience with coil placement as well as coil angles now. While the software can provide more temperature options, it seems like the real magic is in customizing the coil? Alas, mine is gone but before I sent it off I found a jeweler's screwdriver and grabbed the coil off of it, since when I mentioned it would be unprotected in transit Joe said it would be disposed of anyways.
During my troubleshooting session with him, I got to see the coil glow. I can see how the thing comes to vape temps instantaneously. That coil really lights up red, and it really made me want to try my esv out! I can tell that sucker is fragile too, hard to see with these old eyes to work on, and easy to screw up.
Other thoughts from the bitchy guy that hasn't gotten to try his esv out yet lol.
I wonder if the stir lid is worth it, as it takes a bit away from bowl volume(?), and if you just load that same 'bit' less with the regular lid you wouldn't have to stir (room for a shake or two).
I like the magnet feature. I could tell it's a pain in Joe's rear atm, but I hope he just makes them a bit weaker or maybe uses just one instead of two but keeps it. It seems to me that the issue is with the lid, the part that the magnet is attracted to is recessed just enough for the super-strong magnet to catch and be pulled from where it's glued to the body of the esv. This is why the lid can be a bear to remove initially, at least with some esv's. When I finally got mine off the magnets came with it and one of them went flying.
These are kinks to be ironed out, like the initial battery charge of some units. When they are the esv will be a force to be reckoned with, I can already tell and I haven't even used mine yet. I think it's gonna be a hit once a couple of things are ironed out, that it's a real sleeper and I feel fortunate to try one at this price.
Even if there was a snafu or two in my case
Very true about the importance of the draw speed and style. I can draw slow with a long prime at 315 and bust my lungs wide open or no prime with a slow draw speeded up at the end at 350 will produce almost the same result but with thicker vapor. I start with higher temps when I medicate in between sessions or I'm on the go, but I use my esv to session too now because it uses a third less material than my other vape. I had to do all random shit with my ID as well.I'm glad your still optimistic grokit, as you already seem to know, the Elevape is well worth any headaches once you have it up and running.
As for packing the bowl with the stir lid, its been a while, and as I said I need to get back to testing with it, but I was able to use a fuller pack fairly well. I posted my results here several pages back if you want to check. I'll post once I try it again.
Full pack is the way for clouds, not necessarily fine grind (too fine will clog up mesh screens quicker, it is convection afterall). And again, it really is all in you draw, the coil is strong, but it is your breath that brings it all together so thats why everyone has it set up differently.
Also re magnets, I only have glue in the lid to hold lid magnets. The magnets in my body are pressed in, no glue (one is actually pressed in a little too much, and comes out the other side, but it doesn't affect anything at all)
Had to send my ID info to VaporNation once too, forget why lol
I had to do this with my bank once to start initiating international wire transfers. And I had been banking at this place (a credit union) for over 5 years at that point! It's routine for this kind of thing.Did you have to send them a picure of your ID and credit card?

Out of curiosity what is the other vape?use my esv to session too now because it uses a third less material than my other vape.
A Goboof Alfa. I'm actually about to use it right nowOut of curiosity what is the other vape?
@b0 For the chamber lid use 2 screens cris crossed and for the chamber I use a fine-coarse-fine setup.@Vape Dr. wich kind of screens have you used for the lid and over the coil? I want to order some for when I receive my unit
@b0 For the chamber lid use 2 screens cris crossed and for the chamber I use a fine-coarse-fine setup.
Until then you can look at page #39 post #961 for a "bottle cap" screen design you can DIY!
It works best with the finest screen you can find!
So you use 2 screens in the chamber lid and 3 in the chamber? MAybe I didn't understan the "fine-coarse-fine" part
Edit: Any links to buy that kind of screens from ebay sellers would be apreciated
I bought my accessories from the ipuff website and just received them today. I didn't receive an orange Oring with my original. I bought the accessory package, a new chamber lid, and extra coils. Testing tomorrow (accessory package came with 2 orange orings and a black one). If the accessory package usually only comes with 1 orange and 1 black, thanks Joe for throwing in the extra orange. I PMed joe yesterday and told him about my lid situation and didn't have an orange with my original package. I have no idea if what I just said made any sense, long ass day.
The orange O-ring is made of a softer silicone, that allows the lid to be opened and turned easier. If you have the stir lid attachment, the orange o-ring is necessary. So if I receive mine with a black print I should ask for an orange one? What's the difference?
as far as i know it is black but gets silver after using. i discussed this earlier in this thread. as far as i can remember its intended so, so you know you have a brand new elevape with time and opening closing the lid it should get silver... as far as i understood...Looking at my new Elevape, something didn't feel right when ppl said fill it up to the silver in the chamber. I have no silver ring in my unit??? I don't know if it's excluded because of problems but think it would be important (maybe it retains heat for more vapor?). Maybe it's for measuring the amount. I PMed Joe and will let you guys know what he says. Any ideas why it might be left out on purpose or if it was just not included? I will take a pic of my unit and see what you guys think.
