Discontinued Elevape SV

Hi everyone , Sorry for the late reply, I was at the trade show. The 50% off Sale is A LIMITED TIME PROMO by our good friends at Vapor nation, they are selling a LIMITED AMOUNT of units below cost, to get the unit in the hands of more vaporizer enthusiasts. We don't feel the need, nor planing to make any changes to the unit besides periodic software updates , and accessories that enhance user experience. The feedback from users have been very positive, and I think that current owners would agree with me that there is no other portable vaporizer that will give you the speed, stealthiness, vapor quality, and efficiency of an Elevape Smart. If anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

True. The unit itself I wouldn't imagine needing any changes.. just the minor tweaks. :)

I do love this thing. every day. Used it today... at work... perfect!

Mine is shipped, very happy to not cancelled my order, I need to re-read this thread cause I need to learn some tricks and tips!
I have read this thread 3 times and went through an ounce and a few coils before I finally got it, but it has all become second nature to me. Coil position and draw speed make all the difference in the world. Mine is very low and it makes it very hard to combust at high temps. I find it very hard to put the esv down.

@Enchantre a little black electrical tape around the mouthpiece keeps mine nice and snug with zero wiggle.

First impression. I know it's been stated before, this thing is built like a tank. It's opposite to these vaporizers that have fragile parts. It feels solid with some weight to it and the exterior is very smooth. Fits perfectly inside my hands (stealth mode). Popped it in to the ac outlet and going to give it an overnight charge. I like usb charging because I can get power anywhere.

I am going to buy the stirring lid. Should I buy the accessory kit and some extra coils too? Appreciate any input.

bought my ESV of Vapornation! came to AUD 270 including shipping...damn lot cheaper than the AUD 470 without the 50% off coupon!

that 200 i saved will be held in reserve just incase i have to send anything back

more seriously tho im kinda regretting not being able to get the stirring lid as well, shipping costs min $45

- How important is the new stirring lid accessorie?

@mixchu69 try stock first, then you'll figure out what accessories you need. Truthfully it couldn't hurt to have it all though its not necessarily a prerequisite.

@vapeppau our good friend @Vape Dr. posted a diy stir lid a few pages back using a safety pin. You should try it as is and see how it is, depending how you ultimately set it up, you may not even need it. Some on here have posted good results with minimal stirring somehow

I would suggest those new to the Elevape try the bottle cap screen method on the lid if your unit does not have the stir lid. With the center screw no longer in the heat chamber, the herbs seem to vape much better and the heat is more evenly distributed throughout. YMMV

Ant ideas on another object to bottle cap it on? No mod parts here, what else is that size?

the battery of the elevape is not user changeable or? So how long will this battery in the esv be good to use and do you have to send it to elevape in the future to get chenged?

Yeah the warranty covers the battey, great customer service still in play here. Will just have to send it in someday, but software is designed to maximize overall life

Is the Elevape the portable Herbie? Vapor on demand, convection, efficiency, and clouds. Adding herbie's liquid pad for concentrates, we have found the portable Herbie.

I left my Elevape charging overnight (about 8 hours) and it's still yellow. I decided to unplug it. That charger is so small, I wonder if that is why it takes so long to charge. Now it's time to hook up to my computer. Since you can't really do burn offs because it is breath activated, what is your recommendation for prepping? I'm an OCD guy and always like to boil screens and other parts before initial use.

I made the mistake with the ascent of not doing burn offs (did not know about the f*** combustion community) and weathered through the initial silicone smell and taste

No off tastes here, no gross silicone hanging out around. You cab take dry hits and see there should be zero taste at all. No burn offs necessary like a session vape. Feel free to pre soak stuff though if that makes you comfortable

Also usb and charger that come with t are low quality, I recommend using a nice cell phone charger, I use my Moto X one, it has two ports even.

I'll also add that, for my unit, the going back from green to yellow during charging is common. No clue why. If you hook it to the app on your PC, you will see the percentage of charge. as long as it's showing 99% on there, just go with it.

I find a charge last several days for me.... but I normally just plug it in at night anyway.
While I was out sick, it sat in my purse for a week, unused, and still is at full power.

I didn't have the recommended battery to mold the screen. I just used a regular AA battery and I did not have the same type screen so I just used a very fine Versa Infinity bowl screen. Since changing to this configuration, I have not had to clean the screen much at all. Just a quick brush of the screen off when dumping the ABV keeps it clean.

Edit - I have a stir lid and my updated Elevape coming hopefully very soon from Ipuff. I have been having great results with the bottle cap screen config, but if the stir lid is better, I will enjoy using this vape much more

@mixchu69 & @Enchantre, This is normal with the ESV and the battery light. Sometimes if your watching the light it will go from green to yellow and back to green.
This is because it goes into a trickle charge mode when the battery is at 99% so it does not over charge the battery.
If you have it plugged in over night and the light is yellow, unplug the USB and plug it back in. The light should turn green.
It is a battery and circuit protection feature.

@Kaptan I am glad the bottle cap screen method is working well for you my friend! It is much easier IMO!

Placed my order with vapornation last night, along with an auto stir lid, replacement coils, and a screen replacement kit.

Hey mate can you or anyone else link that on vapornation? My searches only return the esv and a few other pens. I would like to add it hopefully before they ship my vape so I'm jot paying twice for shipping

What @Stananton said. I ordered them seperately off of the Elevape website.

So while *charging for 5 hours before initial use*, I am having trouble with step #1: removing the filter cap by "turning it 90 degrees and lifting off". It doesn't want to turn, by hand anyways. Is is supposed to swivel just one direction or either way? Should I break out the pliers or something? Off for software now...

Damn. Getting stuck on step #1 is never fun...

I noticed this when I tried opening my ESV for the first time after purchasing it. It became easier after a couple days or so.

It's simply a matter of using the very edge of your right thumb and rounding it around the left edge of the chamber lid and easing the lid to the right. I also use my pointer finger in the process to help ease the right side of the lid away. I then use my middle finger to do most of the force necessary to lift the cap off. That's what works for me.

I found it awkward at first as well, but it soon becomes quite simple.

I prefer the way the FF opens.
