@CarolKing the o rings are spares for the Ti tip, they can be a bit fiddly to change.
Here's one of mine, the red ring is a reminder to myself that its a used tip, yours will be all black.
When you want to remove them I've found it's best to start with the buffer ring, red in this case, first.
It will roll right over the others, the next ones need to be pinched and squeezed up slightly to form a pucker.
A cocktail stick or similar, hat pin, pushed into the pucker will help you to then roll the next one off.
Here's how I get the pucker on another version of the tip.
Put them back in reverse order, it's easier to roll a ring over a ring than a groove.
