It's generally recommended by most here on FC to always do an initial cleaning before first use of any vaporizer.

Luckily I managed to unlock the package, it should arrive today, probably in moments, so do I have to leave it at maximum temperature for a few hours?

I've never turned mine up to max ever, nor would I want to.

When I say clean, I mean swabbing out the metal/glass parts with iso till the q-tips or cotton pads or whatever you are using comes out clean.
