@hafalump - Thats only when your around.;)

I'm really looking forward to a plug in. I did have a No. 1 some time ago, but gave it away because it was so loud.

I've been catching up on the thread. I read the first 10 pages and have been reading backwards from the present I'm up to page 10. It looks as if you just use a little material. I was watching some videos by our old friend blazing og. I couldn't get his FC name to pop up.

Also I've been seeing some very beautiful units. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly and everything works OK once I get it. You never know, I learned to live with the, "oh shit" scenario when it comes to vaporizers. It looks like Epicvape is a pretty awesome company, but you never know, looking forward for only good:peace::leaf:

So I have had my nano for a little over 3 weeks now. Spoiler alert, its amazing!

I have been meaning to come in here and write my thoughts, though at this point I'm not sure if I can really add anything of importance that hasn't already been said. I have had a lot of stress and problems; dad has been in the hospital for a little over 2 months 1 week, my mom just got out after being in for 3 weeks, and my dog hasn't been doing too well. :(

The nano has definitely helped me breath easier these last few weeks. (Double entendre for the win!)

When I get a little more time I will definitely sit down and turn some thoughts into words, give my :2c:, and a couple ideas I had.

So far I couldn't be more happy with this fantastic product or the service/attention I have received from Andy.

Now, to catch up on the pages I've missed since I was last here; which multiply like bunnies in this thread.

Hey guys this is my first post but I'm looking for a good bubbler or bong to go with my nano but the dhgate site won't take my payment information. So does any one have any suggestions ?

Welcome!

Don't give up on DHgate!

I personally gave up on using my card. I made 3 purchases without any trouble using my bank card. Then one day they suddenly stopped taking it (months after I started buying from DHgate). My bank even called me a few days later to tell me they blocked some charges.....

I found Skrill.com - it's sorta like Paypal, and it works with Dhgate.com. It's free to add money from you bank account if you move it the slow way (takes a few days). Or you can deposit funds from your credit card instantly (for a small % fee).

Personally, I build a shopping cart in DHgate, get the total, and deposit that amount into my Skrill.com account. The fee to use my card for the deposit is like $1, so I don't really care, it's worth avoiding the hassle of my bank.

I personally LOVE my GB-187-S from Yingmin5 on Dhgate, but I'm currently using my D020 (another DHgate piece)

For everyone who keeps their basket screens at the distance created using the Epik, what heat setting do you use?

The pick places the screen 15mm deep, I typically set my nano to 6.75 at this depth.

@EverythingsHazy
I set my temp at 6.25-6.75 and i use my e-pic to set my depth.....

I find that 6.75 gives the thickest clouds without burning the herb most of the time, but if it is overfilled, or it breaks up into a fine powder from stirring, and restricts the airflow, combustion can occur, which leads me to beloieve it is heating to well over 400F. When set to 6.5, it takes an extra hit or two to fully extract, and the hits aren't AS dense, but you can still rip nice clouds. Anything less than 6.5 feels less efficient to me. Really wish we could do some more testing on the byproducts and such.

6.75 pack a gong full.
MAX FLIGHT!

I never set the depth!
I like the fixed glass screen!

The return of my nano wrecked me last night. I had forgotten how potent the vapor is from so little. I'm so glad to have it back.

While I was waiting for the return of my nano i was using an arizer air as a replacement. Which is not a bad substitute but I now know is not as potent as the nano, which is the norm for portable vs plug in.

What do other nanoists use as their portable or back up vape?
Every few months I start circling the firefly but never take plunge. With all the reviews and positivity around the firefly (even with the low battery life and the swapping of battery's) I cant help that think it might be the best portable/cordless home vape to compliment my nano.
Although with rumours of a firefly 2 in the works tempting to wait for that.

What's your thoughts guys?
What portable do you compliment the nano with?
Thanks

I use my Haze Vaporizer as my portable to compliment my logs.

But I have my eye on the Zion and PocketPot(name under review lol), both due to be released soon.

They're both made mostly of wood and both use convection to vape. The Zion is like the FF from what I understand with the on demand, virtually instant heat. The PocketPot is more of a wait 2min to get to temp and vape away.

I want a nice wood portable to compliment my log collection.

Like the look of the wood portables. Seen a few others too daisy lotus etc.

Don't know why but the firefly seems to be more what I'm after so I might wait for the mk2 also in July the grasshopper is out and been keeping an eye on that. Seems like an amazing portable, only one review at the moment though.
I think 2015 will be a big year in vaporizers.
I might stick with my nano and air (only had the air a month) and see what's around in the summer to autumn

I can easierly see how vape collections get out of control lol

I had seen that too. Have you used one?

Nope, but I did a lot of research on them last year. You can remotely power it on via an app on your smartphone, or set a timer/schedule.

I didn't purchase because I am usually home from work for at least an hour before I use my enano. I will get one when a reason presents itself, it's a cool piece of technology for a reasonable price.

Yup! I have those! They work great!

I actually have one on my 3D printer (Standard WeMo model, nothing fancy). I use it as an emergency kill switch if I see anything wrong via the webcam (I can watch my printer from my smartphone). The app works great.

My only complaint is the event scheduling system - I schedule the printer to turn off after a print completes in the middle of the night. But there's no way to set 'one time' events (only day of the week).

More than once have I started the 3D printer, and forgot to check the event scheduler for the WeMo. I've literally had an 18 hour 3D print (Davinci Ascent Stand) fail at 98% because the printer shut off! :bang:

Of course there's no way to finish those prints, and I wish it only happened once

In either case, the WeMo itself is a great device. I've considered buying the nicer model with power monitoring so I can watch the Nano's power consumption.
