E-Nano from Epickai

For someone who doesn't usually use water, and would like to save by picking up a GonG later on, is the 'long' style stem recommended (or even enough) to make things a bit smoother,
or does the extra length take away some potency or user friendliness.
I like the thought of the standard, neat size stem without extra cost if possible and I use most vapes dry, but a Solo can make me cough a bit and I don't want that times ten or something?
Does it have that throat scratch too?

I use the out of the box stem (minimal drag) but if you get the water piece adapter and a piece of hose you can cut it to any length you want. As to a drop off in flavor or effect I have never seen a big drop off with a longer stem, on the other hand there was little improvement either. However that could just be me.

Thanks for the info and it was also interesting to see you would choose E-nano for having just one vape!
I have some idea how good this would taste and how it would suit me but I know I would be even more impressed when I try one!
The purchase of a new Plenty would probably be cheaper and much easier for for me where I live, but something is telling me this E-nano might have an edge on the taste dept.!
It looks a little more stealthy than a Plenty anyway!

If your problem is with import duties talk to the folks at E-Nano they have dealt with that concern for other folks. Good Luck

It is a 150watt power (bought on Amazon) and I bought it 3yrs ago, still working solid

As for use, I find every convective vape to scratch my throath. For me enano is dryer and hotter than solo and I use it through water all the time but some user like @CarolKing uses it dry (standard stem) without any issue

Mine's only 100 Watt max, 70 constant. It was pretty cheap and seems like some rebranded device (lots of others exactly the same but a different name/logo.

I may invest in a 150W one, if they really do stay silent that would be cool. I was thinking about building some kind of sound proof box for mine, but yeah...procrastination master
I didn't really see any brands I recognized, maybe the ones that where for events or heavy machinery, bot those where really expensive or huge.

I too am waiting for a 220v version, like a puppy waiting for it's owner to return haha!

If it really does become unbearable (and usually I have something else goin' on so it's not noticeable) then you can also just turn it off. I guess that may not allow "on demand" hits, but I've been getting really nice and big hits after letting it heat up from a cold start for only about 3-5 minutes.

You have to turn it up higher than you usually would though, so I usually have it on all the time at 3,5 or something like that, and when I want a hit I crank it up to anywhere between 5.5 and 6.5, depening on the desired effect/time.
If I do a "cold start" then I turn it up to about 7-8 for a few minutes, then down to 6,5 for water and about 5 for dry stem.

he regular dry stem (I only got one, so not sure if it's the long or short one) is great, I would say you are able to get a "scratchy" hit that burns, but I've only had that if I inhale too long, or it's too hot / close to the heater.
I prefer short puffs, like I see people smoking cigarettes/Spliffs.

It's really cool, in a way like standing on stage a few seconds before the curtain goes up, when you draw on a dry stem and it's not quite up to temp yet, and you get a really flavourful hit (not a lot of vapor visible).

But I actually did get a book on hand carving, and I hope in a little while I'll have enough tools and material to really carve 3D Pineapple out of a block of wood, and take out a cylindrical space in the middle for ashcatchers in this kind of setup.

I figure it's a good project, and if it turns out good I'll try to sell them xD

I'm wondering if I could get a glassblower to make me an ashcatcher but add a thick base plate, or make it beaker-shaped, so I could use with the nano/vapes on top without any additional contraptions.

I've seen a few but I think they still wouldn't be stable enough (with a vape on top).

Random: One of the (many) things I like about living in England is occasionally being called "Guv'na". It seems to occur more the older I get. Here's a link to the store, it's only 35$, but I've never heard of them so no guarantees they're reliable But appearantly there are a few beaker style ashcatchers, maybe a well known site has some? I saw a few pics that where from DHGate too, but didn't check which seller it was.

It's always hard to tell if glass is any good online, I guess?

EQ is great but more off a party vape, it works much more efficiently for solo use with the ddave mod

Enano is a fantastic solo vape and can also be easily passed around but smaller bowl then EQ but way less stuff and hassle for big hits

Both need to be left on and heating for X time, it was 3-4 years ago since I borrowed a EQ for some weeks so maybe it has been updates a bit

The hydrobrick is the one I got and hardest hitter I got, it takes some time and training to get going but less then most expect

When you master it after couple of uses then you can pull some crazy fucking clouds

It can do small hits also but I never pull it out unless I plan on getting "wrecked" because I always end up filling its bowl all the way up

I would recommend getting them all

It is just a matter of which one first

but the Enano or hydrobrick is a good start because they are so reliable

I've been thinking about getting one of those stickybricks, not sure which one. But I always was a bit put off by the torch. Is there some way I can use an electronic heat source?

Could I use my nano? xD Oh man that would be crazy.


I feel my EQ needs to heat up longer (about 15-20 minutes without the fan on) than the nano (5 minutes is enough, if you turn it up to 10 I think it's faster..but I've never felt so in a hurry that I had to do that yet)

I also don't have the DDave mod.

E-Nano is just more convinient (for me), especially if you like several smaller hits throughout the day. Just leave it on and hit on demand, doesn't even need to be at the vape temp the whole time, you can leave it on 3, and then just turn it to say, 6 or 7 and it'll be ready in 1-2 minutes.
But yeah even from a "cold start" it's hot fast.
I always thought the Underdog (another Log Vape) was the same, but appearantly it also needs a while to warm up, at least longer than the nano according to some reviews/comparisons I've read.

I like that I can theoretically only take a short puff and then put it away, for later if I want, because you only have the heating element near the material when you're hitting it (I see it like a fancy wooden lighter)

You can use very little too. I would say my loads are betwen 0.05 and 0.1, you get amazing hits. Even if you don't milk up a bong you exhale a huge cloud.

Damn it, now you've got me goin' on praisin' it again I'm gonna have to use it! ;D

I actually had huge problems with torch vape but then I saw some stuff here and really wanted a brick and then some months later won a hydrobrick on Fcforum.com

Now I am all for them but I find them loud to use over movies and such

I'm a pretty polite person in general and I understand that things happen. It's always better to treat folks with dignity and respect (like you said). I'm not looking for a handout, I just want to get it fixed at my expense.

This is absolutely my fault if you haven't received a reply yet. You can direct message me or email me at customerservice@epicvape.com . The mail on our contact form gets routed to our mail system in weird ways. On occasion multiple emails will stack even if they are from different people. I'm currently making upgrades to our site to fix the mail issues. When in doubt just shoot us a direct email, I'd rather get multiple emails from a customer than fail to respond. We're here for you!

In other news...

USPS has lost 60% of our order from a large shipment batch last week, with numbers growing daily. A couple finally showed up yesterday (over a week in transit). Our local location is making upgrades included getting rid of the majority of the mail clerks and installing automated machines. It's a mess! Andy went in to inquire as to why orders he hand delivered to the location never showed as accepted/scanned and they let us know they no longer scan our packages at the location. However, the accepting post office should scan them. Unfortunately, this means that the missing orders show "Pre-Shipment". Because they were not scanned we cannot claim insurance on them either. Needless to say we're playing catch up as we re-ship orders, respond to very very very VERY angry emails, and update our shipping times to allow for these changes. I do sympathize with the angry customers despite being called names (this is what happens when people can't chill out with their Nano, hahaha).

I have reached out to the customers who appear to have been affected but if you are still waiting on a package from a week ago please email me with the order number so I can handle it asap!

Yes that is an unfortunate side effect of not having the nano in within arms length ;D

And wow, that's a major bummer that the orders got lost. And then of course there's always something else to make things even more chaotic.

I would probably be upset/angry too if I didn't get my Nano on time, and I was actually, because mine was held in customs for 2 weeks (), even though it got across the atlantic in 3 days! But if I could send a message to my future self or anyone in that position, it'd be to start meditating and practice patience.
It is totally worth it when you finally see that soft blue glow for the first time.

I always forget about Black friday, because it's not really a thing over here, or at least hasn't been for long (Some stores here aretrying to make it a thing though), but maybe I can score some 18mm GonGs and a Wooden Stand-o (is there a waiting list? hehe).

What I really wanted to say though was, you (Epic) could just have the black friday sale a week later or a few days delayed, once the whole thing with the Postal service is sorted out, and that might be good for people (like me) who always either a) forget about black friday sales and/or b) find out about the e-nano not until after these sales are over, to buy one ;D

I've been trying to prioritise my vaping desires, so this news is throwing an EPIC kink in my plans. I'm confident I can find a solution. Begging wife's forgiveness, maybe?

2 years ago, all the UK shops did BF sales for the first time. Gonna do it just like America! Customers woke up early, queued in stupid lines and acted stupidly. Though, to be fair it was nowhere near the scale of stupidity you see in America, with people stampeding & fighting & hurting each other.
So last year, the retailers tried the same thing, BF sales with lots of extra staff on hand to handle the mobs AND? No one showed. Literally, the entire country said "NOPE" and all the news coverage on-hand to cover the consumerism carnage could only film empty stores and lots of sales staff standing around. I LOVE the English mentality: "Showed up first time, not worth the bother. Not doing it again!" I love them.

Why do Americans even go out and do BF battle anymore? Stay home, nice and comfy, and shop online.

Im not sure I would recommend a glass stem with glass screen. The glass screen will either get clogged more frequently than a metal one or it will allow too much debris to come in thru the filter and you will have dust in your mouth.

Yeah, I chose the basket screens over the glass one for that reason, already knew how those could be from my Solo.

I also like that you can adjust it if needed, like if the load is very small or it's been on for a long time.

No single adjustable-screen regular or x-long Nano stems! That's the main item most existing users want/need, with the exception of @ataxian who buys his gongs in bulk. So it doesn't matter what the sale is if the products aren't in stock... a little surprised that EV wouldn't be stocked up on basic parts in preparation for the BF & xmas shopping season. Maybe @nadia_epic has the answer? I can't understand it.
