So after having my E-nano for about 7-8 months I had some loose connection problem with my power cord & the light on my Nano kept going on & off & wasn't getting heated properly. I thought there's something wrong with the plug input on the Nano & I had to send it in to get it serviced. I kind of slacked on it for months thinking it will be painful contacting Epic & waiting forever to get a response & then having to find a box & dealing with shipping it, I held off on it :doh:. In the mean time I was using my Solo which served me right. After a while one bored day I wonder off to Epic.com & went to their contact section & requested some help for my Nano. I was told to try out a PS4 cord to see if that worked, basically to figure out if the problem was the cord or the unit itself. I was glad & relieved to find that it was the power cord causing the problem the whole time & I didn't have to send my unit in (Weeeeeeeee :rockon:) I was a bit shocked that it was the cord as I never took my Nano out of the house or folded the cord or misused it in any way, the cord looked brand new! However Carisa set me up with a free replacement for a new power cord & in about 8 days I was up & vaping just like before again :clap: Thank you Carisa! :tup:


I was happy Epic was not as hard to work with as I had imagined but since the 19th of last month I sent an e-mail asking about my member points for the purchase of my E-nano & I was having issues logging on to the web site but I still did not get a response...


In a couple of weeks it will make it a year since I have the Nano & I really love it, I used it everyday until I had a little downtime with the cord issue. I love how easy this thing is to maintain & how powerful this little thing is. I do a few things differently than others as far as maintaining it. I don't use the tube to clean the stem that it came in, I take a straw and slide it down the stem after taking the basket out & gather up all the resin put the screen back on & load it up with the resin. This is the best shit! its like icing on the cake & I can't believe I was washing it all away down the sink at first. The resin bowl really lasts a long time, longer than a regular bowl of herb & has clouds for days!! I do clean my stem with some alcohol before loading it up with the resin then hold the stem between my lips & snake a old T-shirt rag in the stem & run it back & forth for easy & fast dry because I don't have the patience for air dry ;) Also I use a basket screen in my gong which is a must have!! It has saved many loads from falling through the gong into the water. Get yourself a few basket screens ASAP!!


What do I hate about the Nano? Well it has to be the tipping problem which is very annoying. Before when the Nano first came out, the cord was built in & it still had a tipping problem but now with the detachable cord the plug area is pretty bulky for a unit this small which causes more of a tipping problem. I think the plug should be much smaller like a cordless phone plug or like the under dog. I know by buying a stand it would help with the tipping problem but I honestly think in my opinion the E-nano stand is a bit over priced at $25 plus shipping is too much for a small stand. On dhgate.com you can get a really nice thick glass piece & often it is priced well below $30 & its also shipped from China! I believe the stand should be priced at $15, that's a fair price. Also as Epic is growing larger each day as a company, I think Andy should hire extra helping hands as there's too many people to serve & the extra help is very necessary for things to work smoothly. Other than those few minor problems I have no other issues & really love my E-nano ;)

@$un : The stands may be a few dollars more than they could be but I don't think we should ask epicvape to compete with chinese factories. The e-nano is handmade in limited quantities. Larger quantities at lower prices would mean a lower quality, like chinese stuff!

The e-nano can stand on its own well enough if you remove the stem between tokes. Doing this also means you won't lose any of the aromatics as you would if you left the loaded stem on the heater between tokes.

There may be a better way to recover the oil and clean the stem: Roll up some pure cotton wool into a ball small enough to snugly fit inside the stem, put a few (don't soak it) drops of alcohol on it and push it down the stem with a chopstick, to gather the oil. Let the alcohol evaporate then stick the ball in the vape and enjoy! (dial needs to be set to around 8 for this)

You should definitely try out the all glass stem, flavor is GREAT and it is a small bowl size to conserve even more

Nice rips! Plus I must admire you being from Canada and proud to hang up your maple leafs. You just don't see enough of that nationalism in the USA anymore.

I believe Andy's stands are priced right for what you are getting. Chinese production is often cheap wood and machined parts. For the extra bucks you get some actual craftsmanship and nice selections of wood. I don't even own one yet, but can tell they are nice pieces.

I found that certain strains and temperature will cause headaches!

We all react differently!

OG's seem to work well for me and GSC is my favorite strain.

Too High THC% is not always the best in my case.

I sometimes get a bit of a headache at high temps but it goes away after like 5 min. im trying to find more strains high in cbd as that is what i need for my nerve pain but in my state I dont exactly have a wide selection

Hopefully 2016 we will have complete federal law to allow people to medicate freely!
If your in a funky state HYDROPONICS might serve you well!

my state is making progress but it is fairly liberal so im surprised its taking this long honestly. Its dissapointing when I hear about a fluff bill with no substance that politicians are voting on when they could actually do something useful. I feel like even now, MJ is so taboo in american politics, and im very surprised hilary clinton has pretty much ignored it. its slowly changing but its taking too long. I shouldnt have to take a risk to get medicine that helps me function as a somewhat normal member of society, and have a job and contribute to society.

I mean there are days where Im so bad I cant get out of bed, and mj helps but its not a miracle cure, it, for me at least, "changes" the pain signal so its less "sharp" and forefront. it dulls it down to a tolerable amount. when im in a pain flareup, it feels like my nerves and joints are on fire, or being stabbed by rusty finishing nails, those are the best two analogies for my pain ive found to be somewhat accurate

but to bring it back to the nano, I just had a couple stems from the all glass stem an hour or so ago and still feeling pretty calm

My intention was not to make a comparison or ask Epic to compete with Chinese factories but to point out how far ones dollars can go when spent wisely. You are absolutely right what you said about the Nano but we are talking about a 4 in wood block here not the Nano. If it was maybe more fancy looking or had options for engraving a bit more personalized then I wouldn't mind a price tag of $30.

I was always a bit skeptical about vaping alcohol extracted products. That's why I never really messed with dabs. Can dabs be purchased or does it have to be home made? I know the alcohol evaporates but what if there's other chemicals left behind that we are inhaling? Would the cotton method work any better than the method I use?

I've had to treat myself without a Medical Doctor?
Sometimes we need to grow our own to have the perfect medicine in stock!

I research a subject to complete detail. CANNABIS helps me read fast!
Believe me I tried 100's of different strains.
I fell today and opened my head to require stables to hold it together.

WIZ KALIFICA OG helped me to stay calm.

NANO on 6.15 flavor/effect

To have what I have is no fun!

I have dr's but this diesease is so rare theres only one medicine available in the us for it, and its just to prevent the disease from getting worse. Im on a ton of neuro meds for it as well, I feel you though, having something wrong is not fun, I have a garden in my back yard, perhaps a short INDICA plant would fit in without being visible?

Ok!

So, today I got the shipment in. After a little oddity happening with the tracking portal, I was confirmed by the USPS that I'd get my package by 3pm today. Sure did! I was shocked how small the box was. Opened it up and was further surprised by how small it really was.

Didn't disappoint me either on the first round. I've only been an E-Nano owner for a few hours and I'm already in love with this device. Super compact, packs a punch and has some nice style to boot. Even the aluminum holder I got was very nice! Well, I'm certainly a believer in desktops now. I can now park a few of my favorite portables to the side so I don't wear them out.

My waterpipe is happier too as it hasn't been used in a while. Loving the device! And thanks to everyone's reviews and input in this thread to help sway me to this side of the fence.

Today I'm for legalization of a natural herb.

After 2 rips of a joint before surf I'd throw it out!
With a NANO many tasteful hits are obtained.
Effect beyond measure!

How strange. How often do you clean the stem? I vape about 3-4 stem loads a day and the screen is partially blocked at the end of that . It will be very blocked at the end of the second day if I don't clean it. Maybe it's the oil coming down from the stem as I rarely clean that...

I find the e-nano wokrs a lot better with a clean screen (less resistance, more vapour in one toke).
I can actually scrape small bits of high grade hash off the screen when I push it out, so it may be the oil from the stem that's contributing to the blocking.

There are no other chemicals if you use pure alcohol. The only impurity should be small amounts of water. Ethanol is drinking alcohol and hence the safest, methanol is toxic and isopropyl is suspect. All of them can be used since they evaporate completely if you wait or give them a little heat but it makes sense to avoid methanol and I personally wouldn't use isopropyl even though a lot of people who make wax use it.

I suggested the cotton ball since you already use alcohol to clean your stems. It'll be better/easier at recovering the oil from the stem than scraping it off with a straw, but you have to wait for the alcohol to evaporate, so it's not quick . You can use organic cotton if you want to be a purist but I doubt non-organic cotton is bad unless you eat the stuff on a regular basis.
Obtaining the pure ethanol will be the biggest problem.

Making wax for dabbing is dangerous and best done outdide, or in a properly ventilated lab and making it is probably still illegal in most places. Not worth the hassle for me, I get more than enough medication from herbs and the herbs have more interesting and more varied flavours. Some aromatics are always lost when you process cannabis in some way.

I need to order some more stems for my nano, and I was wondering if there are any third party stems available ? / recommended ? . I have the Epicvape fixed and adjustable stems and gongs and can use a few more stems. Thanks :peace:
