taste buds
I love my E-Nano. I've been enjoying using it with concentrates lately. I think I might prefer it to traditional dabs.
I've been too lazy to go look for a concentrate pad so I've just been using mainly cotton. You can taste it a little but it's a subtle taste and not unpleasant as long as you don't set the temp too high.
My method is to first use as little cotton as necessary to hold the product. I make it into a flat disk, put the concentrate in the middle, fold over the edges, and smoosh it into a ball. Then I put the ball in a stem or gong and take one or two short hits. After that I use the E-Pick to flip the ball of cotton around 180°, so the part that was facing the screen in the stem/gong is now facing the heater. It should have a little dark spot on it, try to have that facing the heater.
The first couple of draws before flipping it melts it but pulls it back towards the screen. That's why I flip it, to get the concentrate as close to the heater as possible.
I've used some pretty gooey live resin wax and also some shatter with this method. The gooey stuff works well at 6.75-7 on my nano and the shatter works better at 7.25-7.5.
I have my screen pushed back a millimeter or two on all of my stems and gongs. I find this provides a more even extraction and consistent vapor production with less of that browning on top when using flowers.
I've discovered the E-Pick is a pretty useful vapor dab tool, I'm constantly finding new uses for it, it's every bit as versatile as the E-Nano.
