I don't know if the "serenity now" worked or what but it looks to me that the walnut is still available. It looks like Maple (the light color wood) is no longer available. I ordered a cherry just so I would not take that last walnut one.

How's the draw restiance compare?

Significantly less/more open than the Solo even with PVHES.

As your stem accrues resin, the draw will become more restricted. After using for about 1.5 weeks without cleaning the draw feels roughly similar to a PVHES Solo draw.

Note that your gonna pull way more hits off the nano, draw depends on how hard your pulling too, pulling hard off a solo is gonna give you a headache, nanos normal if you want to pull hard or lightly

I had some time to take out at least one kind of each wood vape and the solo for size comparison. Only vape that is smaller than the nano is my HI. Lemme know if any other size comparisons are wanted.

I had a quick question about the heating element.

So, the one thing that annoys me about the PD is that the heating element is open and bumping the PD can result in herb falling out of the stem and into the PD. It then burns and makes a nasty smell for everyone involved.

Does the E-Nano have that same kind of opening the PD does? Or does it have some mechanism to prevent herb falling in.

It has a screen. the only way this would happen is if you over pack it and it directly touches the screen. You wont get any more then something you can brush right off. Unless super fine particles fall below the screen, haha. But I dont think you have to worry about that.

I have to turn my PD upside down every now and then and literally shake the weed that has fallen into it out. That is my biggest issue with the PD. Happy the Nano has this fixed! Now all I have to do is figure out the money situation for the month...

Yeah it's weird. I thought the gauge of mesh used on the heater core would let lots of particulate through, but you're right in that it's pretty easy to just brush anything off. Anything that does fall off into the inside of the E-nano can be easily shaken off and doesn't seem to cook further.

My nano arrived a couple days ago now. It's awesome. I am shifting main units from a walnut WDZ that has been a solid work horse for over a couple years, hence the comparisons. The wdz is still going strong and it is great, but this thing is a true upgrade to it.

I love being able to mess with the temp and I was ready for something with a bit more airflow. With this thing you can basically get the airflow however you want by how you pack it.

On Efficiency - The bowl is definitely larger than the wdz stem. I have been putting about 2 wdz stems/1 nano glass stem. It seems like the efficiency will be pretty on par, except with the nano it is way easy to fill the bowl with more and just go to town on it. So some people might burn (pun) through their stash more quickly in that way. As I see it - where I was sometimes hindered by the log efficiency before, the nano leaves you with some freedom here to do what you want. If you aren't already using a log or super efficient vape I wouldn't even worry about that.

On a side note, I also just picked up a "Hammer" (also awesome) which can be found in the portables section. They have a lock on kit which comes with 2 glass stems that are flanged out at the ends. They work on the nano just fine as a smaller bowl for those who want to keep to the traditional log size/one hitter bowl. The glass it comes with works perfectly though so I will probably stick to that.

I was kind of expecting to leave it on all the time since that is what I am used to, but it heats up so fast that it seems kinda pointless.

So yeah, it looks awesome, works awesome, and has a nice fit and finish. Andy was nice and communicated back with me. I am happy. If you have an older log you wont regret this thing at all.

You are going to love the nano with a mobius ion matrx! I have a reti and it works great with it. Having that combo for 4/20 will be loads of fun....

So has anyone effectively used one of the honey comb stems without a metal screen and without getting material in your mouth? I've been placing a screen in the stem, but this is less than ideal since the screen can fall out rather easily.

I still have to use a screen. If you dont want to use a screen then you dont grind from my experience. Either way I still prefer to use a screen. I got a second stem from Andy that has no honeycomb and just a metal screen, but the screen flips everytime i try to inhale and i get a mouth full of fresh green. That stem is just no good, not sure why I got that? In the end I am just using the honeycomb with the screen. Yhe only time I have to fix it is when I empty the bowl.

Looks like you'd need an 18 female to 18 female adapter, then an 18 GonG from Andy. That's what I'd do, anyway.

Might be easier to get a bubbler with a female joint unless you're definitely using it for oils and such. Just sayin'.

Does anyone notice a change in weight from previous nanos to current ones? I feel like my old one tipped over from being too light and this new one is a tank on my coffe table. Never worry about it. Am I just trippin?
