Its Just Temporary
Test drove my new Nano last night paired with the D020D and adjustable gong.Let her warm up for fifteen minutes or so at 6 1/4 on the dial,loaded it with freshly ground bud of Moby Dick,let it heat soak for a good bit and went to town.I got three huge cloudy hits.So needless to say im happy.ABV looked good,no char or blackening.All in all it was a good first try.The only downfall to the Nano in my opinion is that damn cumbersome cord.Is it better than my battery op?Can't answer that.Its different.It does exactly what its meant to,and it does it very well.

I suspect this is due to the proximity of your herb to the heater outlet. If you're browning the load in the center, you're probably making contact with the heater screen. Try backing the screen down a bit or loading less herbs.

I found for HUGE flavor, I hover my Nano over the load for the first hit, never completely inserting the Nano into the glass (maybe only 1 or 2 mm deep)

I will have to try that. I honestly feel like my arizer air tastes MUCH better. Obviously I must be doing something wrong. Next time I get something tastey I will try what you said. Thanks

I don't think so. My abv is uniform brown. I did blacken a load or two at first but now I just line up my load and the screen to just above the indent that stops the heater post. I'm not complaining either, because the nano taste is pretty damn good. I notice my super silver haze has a menthol taste in my enano, but more of a cat piss (in a nice way) taste, in my volcano. Actually I like both tastes, but they are different.

It's stronger than dog piss, and weaker than panther piss. My cat told me.

You never heard that term in describing herb? I've been growing my own for years and it's a common term in my world. In fact it's used in wine tasting vernacular as well. If you smell where a cat peed you'll get the idea. It's a desirable trait, in herb. In a joint my haze has a strong taste of cat piss, then as you toke it down it gets stronger and stronger, but less of cat piss. About then you notice resin on your lips, lol. In my enano it tastes rich and fresh, almost minty.

Edit, after thinking bout this a few minutes, super silver haze smells like pine sol, because the primary terpene is alpha pinene. That terpene is what I'm tasting, I bet. I must have just burned through it in my other vapes. Yea nano

I've had very tasty cat piss, skunk and even some that seriously smelled like dog shit. Yummy! :freak:
