I received the EpicVape sale email this morning and placed my order for an E-Nano and a selection of accessories. Just now, not even 7 hours later, I received notification it had shipped. Talk about fast!

Don't get too exited. Im waiting on a order placed on April 10, then i received the shipped email April 13. I live in MI and the assessaries i ordered went to VA, to GA, to CA, to FL and now two hundred miles south of me but in my state. I hope the glass survives, lol that's a lot of miles!

For everyone who keeps their basket screens at the distance created using the Epik, what heat setting do you use?

Mostly 7. But I think it also depends on the amount of material you're using. When the basket distance is set using the Epik, up to 0.05 g works well; maybe a little less. For bigger loads, I'll push the screen down for the first few puffs and then push it up with a chop stick to keep the material close to the heating element.

What are you currently using for glass, or are you simply using a stem? There are some very good <$50 pieces out there and this is basically the only way I roll with the nano.

There have been some creative cord management ideas floating around this thread, and I am a fan of the "hook on a wall" approach to dangle the cord in mid air instead of on my desk. My approach has been to have a dedicated vape area in my home office, with my glass, nano, stand, tools & material all in one place. I have two nanos and they both hang out here.. if I'm in a bind (down in my basement) I just use a Pax instead (I'm a tobacco addict, hence the Pax). Typically though, I'd rather run upstairs to use the nano than the Pax.

I also saw that you are vaping at 7.25. I did that for the first few months but then realized that you can get different (and better for me) effects at the lower temperatures. All dials are different, but I found my sweet spot at 6.5. If I'm getting ready for bed, I bump it up to 7-7.5 to get more of the "stony" effects.

Lastly, save your ABV. You can eat this later for a full on body high that can last up to 4-6 hours. I infuse coconut oil with the ABV, cook with it, and it is awesome for lazy weekends/insomnia.

Ran the new Enano through my water tool and gong - very nice...I would get 1 really good hit and a second wispier hit. The new gong doesn't fit real well.

I use the adjustable stem and it gives me the hardest hits, which I prefer. The direct draw is similar to using my Solos. I have yet to experiment with moving the screen position. I don't think I would make the bowel smaller, I will make it larger so I can get at least two big hits.

I think the MiniVAP might be what you're looking for. It runs off battery or A/C and produces gigantic clouds. It's listed on FC under portable vapes but there's a power puck available that makes it into a high-tech log vape. It was my positive experience with the MiniVAP that got me looking at log vapes.

All set for 4/20 It's been so helpful reading through everyone's contribution to this thread. Some great information for the nano beginner. Love the flavor it brings to the vapor.

These are much cheaper (under $150) and can produce huge clouds. You just have to be careful not to combust it doesn't take much time at all to get the hang of it.

Sorry to continue this derail, if your after a portable log vape, why not get a portable log vape? Cut out the plastic parts and keep the wooden beauties? Would be cheaper than the expensive Mini Vap...

@Enchantre thank you. That's very nice of you. I will try out my 14mm Pinnacle Pro Micro Shower tool with it. I haven't tried out my Bubbler yet. There's more homework yet to be done.

I notice too the temperature dial responds very well. If the vapor is too harsh I just turn it down a a bit and notice fairly quickly the vapor isn't as harsh. Flavor is where it's at with the nano.

Got my nano in this week and I'm impressed. The construction of the device itself is great. Good finishing on the wood itself. It was actually a little smaller than I was expecting and I knew it was small! I was surprised when the nano was in the smaller box and the power cord was in the bigger box. On the power cord: yeah it's pretty much the biggest downside, I honestly plan to make a new one with more flexible wire. This one is so stiff but it's also new.

I ordered both glass adapters to try. I actually cut out a small screen by hand and use that in combo with the glass screen adapter and it works well. The problem I have with just the glass is the holes let too much stuff through then you get bits in your water and it looks gross. Putting a little screen on top helps. The reason I don't like the adjustible that much is from using my lotus. I constantly poke and stir. With the adjustible screen I keep accidently pushing it lower and lower. Operator error.

Overall it's a great little vape, not sure I can see myself using this all the way until stepping up to something like the sublimator.

I'm just getting started as well. I kind of wished I bought a five pack of adjustable stems. So far in my very limited experience the fixed screen stems are better without grinding or slightly damper herb. Ground herb goes through it easy. And I think I can load more in the adjustable stems. It's the same with the gong's.

Oh, it's a keeper, lol. So far it's been great.

Yesterday, the same day my stems came, I scooped up a silver surfer minus a wand. A friend knew I liked vapes and gave twenty bucks for it in a garage sale. A deal I could not turn down. That makes 3 vapes in just over a month. This VAS is some contagious stuff man! But then I guess your aware of that, lol.
