Wahoo! It's finally here! I introduce to you...Ramon Burl Nano. I immediately got it set up and had a sesh with Mom and Dad. Dad never really caught on with the Solo but he really likes the Nano. When I showed how much material (or little) was used, they were both impressed. Another convert in my dad. The flavor is awesome. I can see a beautiful future together...with Ramon.

Too funny. I do work hard but lately my hands have gotten soft. I came home today and had to repair a couple of lawn sprinklers and got PVC cement all over. Had a major "peel-fest" before I dared pack the Nano. But I had to catch the last bit of sun for the pics. Should have had Mrs. DieHard hold Ramon.Yeah they are cool with the MJ for many years. I have even gotten them to dab.Stunning @DieHard, welcome to the club! I'm envious that you can share your new gadgets with your folks. I really wish my parents were more open to the subject......

I was just hitting the Nano and I always spin the Nano on the GonG. This time I held it on top but spun the polished adjustable GonG and pow perfect tanning of my bowl! Loving this adjustable more and more after I was kind of down on it at first.

Dont know whats been happening lately, 6.5 on the dial will brown the herb fast. The vapors are thick, but was left wondering if Ive combusted; the actual herb doesnt smell burnt it does look a bit scorched, though.
Usually I warm it up on 10 for 4 minutes and dial down to 6.5 like the instructions, its usually a 4 toke session and evenly browns. I could change the set up, but Im left wondering what difference about those two times; the couple times that Ive done it. Oh yeah, like Im blasted now, so way up there with less. Think I combusted?

If you combusted, you would know it immediately. Mostly by taste.

Yeah. I try to distinguish by taste. I dont know if my tatse buds are fucked up, but it always smells like popcorn. Not like burnt popcorn just nice toasty popcorn. After the first 2 flavor hits; it smells like popcorn.

Try preheating till the wood is warm and keep the dial on 6 or a smidgen above. If you preheat too long, it may be even too hot at 6 and require a lil bit of cooling, preheating too little and 6 isn't enough.
Or you can try my hovering technique, slowly lower the nano into the GonG while drawing. Stop when you get the desired thickness of vapor. After the first hit or two then you can let it rest completely into the gong.
I struggled for so long with charring the top, consistency is the key to preventing this IMO.

It happens.
So many variables! My common ones here are I loaded a bit too much and got closer to heat, or screen moved or stash is drier (not hard with dryer winter air - especially if heat on). Pre-grinding can really make drying worse, too. I just usually adjust screen down a bit with a little tamp-push. @Tweak 's hover method works great, too! Love this one and it can let you squeeze another hit or two in there if you're used to doing shallow loads.

#team t-break! I took a week long break but have had some nasty withdrawal symptoms. So im extending it to 4 weeks and not going to overload my system ever again. Nano will be the first vape I use.

Considering buying another log, and having looked around there aren't many options that ship to the UK aside from epicvape, so I guess 2 e-nanos are better than one right!?
Having said that, think I'd definitely like to explore some custom wood, couldn't message @Snappo so I'll just drop this here. Wonder if there's any planned revisions to the nano coming in the near future that Andy knows about.
