Or another option for @FUnhouse would be to get the Belkin WeMo Switch or maybe even a simple timer, that way you could turn the nano on 30 minutes before you get home.
Sometimes I place a Mobius Slide onto my nano to trap the heat, make it warm up faster.
That little ridge around the slide fits perfectly into the nano.
I think funhouse has moved on. I see his nano is for sale.
But the slide thing sounds interesting . do You happen to have a pic with the nano ? I would like to know more ...
Sure do.

It's like it was made to fit.
Also thought about adding a bit of cotton to the top and a drop of essential oil to see it gets hot enough for aromatherapy.
Edit: Was just thinking the slide might also be enough protection to keep the cats from burning their whiskers. Could potentially keep your dial down even farther while not in use, while still allowing the nano to stay heated.
Not everyone has money to blow on vaporizers. They're not $10 items you can buy, test out, and toss away if you don't like it. With so many on the market, how is one to know which is good for them without reading/watching reviews?
Very well said! Not to sound rude, but as someone that has always been on a budget, relying on youtube personalities popular vape reviews caused me to (in my mind) waste money on vapes early on that were deemed "very good" in these popular reviews/videos, but they (to me) they lacked in all of the categories I found important in a vaporizer. If someone is on a budget and wants to have a very good chance of making the right choice first, they would benefit greatly by just taking the time to browse through the different popular threads here on FC and learning the differences about the different models so that they can find the perfect fit for whatever their specific needs are!
But overall yes, I do agree that a very thorough and well-done review done by someone that has a broad audience would be a very, very good thing!
I agree with @ataxian! Although reputable reviewers increase exposure, they are NOT the best source of knowledgeable information, ever. Wherever Andy chooses to commit, a URL link detour back to the FC E-Nano thread should be a part (where appropriate).Very well said!
If I listen to the reviewers on you tube I would be pushing a shopping cart with my belongings?
Sorry it's my take!
A $750 vaporizer works well for some?
The NANO I can barely handle and I love the flavor profile for how powerful it is for me!
I had more expensive vaporizers because of Narcissistic Reviewer giving advice for their situation!
I found that it's not how much you spend on a device!
I don't trust reviews!
Read then try one and make your own conclusion!
I agree on that,it's actually one of the simplest vapes to get results out of all the ones I've owned. One of the things that I really appreciate about the enano is its ease of use. I've handed enano to 2 friends that are completely new to vaping and to see success on the first try is a remarkable sight. Wowwww!
When chasing vapor clouds, or flavor clouds, I think less is more. Thinner layer of herb in the Gong, and try it. Yeah, you'll have to reload after 3 - 7 hits, but the flavor is amazing!
Take a small piece of cotton wrap it around your concentrate. The owner of my co-op brought me some shiney tan pressed bubble hash. How can I enjoy this stuff in my nano
Happy Friday everyone!
Loving my JoDa stem and enjoying a fresh brew. Cheers all!

@Caligula has a video showing an example.
I have some FINN'S cotton however a piece of cotton from a vitamin or Medical bottle will work!
You mean like smoosh it on the heater and turn it upside down and hit it?
Also wow I can't even get 7 hits out of any gong I fill? I think I turn it all brown after like 4 hits
This seems to be the best place on the internet to get advice about the Nano. I'm having troubles like @FUnhouse, except I'm not even sure I'm making the Nano out perform smoking while hitting it through a dry stem, which obviously means I've got to be doing something wrong. I've tried everything from loading tiny amounts with barely enough room between the basket and screen over the heating element to large and far away loads. The temperature barely seems to make a difference - I can get the AVB to light brown/greenish, and then no matter how high I turn it up I can't get it to extract any more. I've even gone as high as 8.5! When I tried to adjust it using @Caligula 's 2-hit method, I had an impossible time because it seemed nothing changed no matter what I did.
Could it be the way I'm drawing? I try to make it have that 'sipping warm tea' feeling mentioned in the starter guide. I've never used a vape at all before picking this thing up, and everything I've seen or heard about the Nano shows way better performance than what I'm getting out of it. Anyone have any advice?
That's because all his vapes were introduced and beta tested here.mindfields said:This seems to be the best place on the internet to get advice about the Nano.
How long are you letting your Nano heat up to temperature? Try setting it to 7 and letting it sit for 30 minutes before starting a session.
Try slowing down your draw so it takes 20-30 seconds to fill your lungs, a nice slow draw will increase vapor density. Also try holding a bright LED flashlight up to the glass, i bet you'll see more vapor than you think.
If you don't know how far to sit your basket from the top, use your E-Pik as a guide - the longer tip has a notch in it - that notch should rest on the opening of the stem, your basket should sit that far from the opening. At this distance, I usually load between 0.1 and 0.075g of ground herb.
