No doubt about that. After yesterday's mysterious breakage I wish I had gotten several stems and GonGs.Backup pieces are always a good decision.

The silicone that came with it is just to protect the stem during shipping. I used to use a piece of foam.Quick question, do you all attach the silicone to the stem that it came with? I did not for my two sessions, gonna attach it now for this session I am about to take.

I told Andy i'd be usin it dry and he gave me 2 free stems. No doubt about that. After yesterday's mysterious breakage I wish I had gotten several stems and GonGs.
Have one, and was inspired by Ed's TNT and Epicvape's individual works, so when I "rediscovered" some black walnut pen blanks that I was gifted back in 2005 or 2006 by a furniture maker, I had to try my hand at some wood e-Nano stems...Buy a LATHE!
I got an e-nano about 6 months ago. It's terrific while it works, but it stopped working after 6 months and the customer service sucks. The order I initially got was incomplete (I had bought two extra stems knowing I would probably break one, but it only came with one.) And after 6 months, the product stopped working. It's probably a loose wire, because the vape turns on and off when you move it around, and it doesn't heat up consistently. I saw on this forum that this is a common problem and that there is a warranty. In the last three weeks, however, I wrote the customer service email to inquire about the warranty or if they know somewhere I could get this repaired in the NY area, and I still haven't gotten a reply even acknowledging my emails. Given the cost of this product, it should last more than a few months. Does anyone know where I could get this repaired in NYC?
Yup. A few days, probably. Note the two screens. I put two because one was letting weed through, and clogging up the cotton.

The longest is just over 7.5 inches, and they all have 1/4 inch through-bore making them fairly easy-drawing. The business end is a near-exact match, in depth and size, to the original all-glass stem. The only drawback IMHO is as someone mentioned earlier: no vapor feedback. You re-learn to live with it, after one or two excessive pulls. At least I did. LOL
As anyone who frequents AskFC (and has a decent memory) might know, I recently decided to purchase my first vape after combusting for something like 10-12 years. On the recommendation of some awesome people from this forum, I ended up ordering a cherry e-nano from epicvape. It arrived today, and I plan on posting a review of some kind once I use it (can't until tomorrow,) but I just wanted to make mention of the AMAZING customer service I've received from Andy, and epicvape. While placing the order, I made a bonehead mistake of forgetting to input the coupon code (100% my fault,) and contacted customer service to see if it could be applied retroactively. Andy went above and beyond in helping me correct my mistake; it has genuinely been the best customer service experience I've ever had, herb based or otherwise. If the product is even a tenth as good as the staff were, they've definitely netted a return customer who'll be recommending them to his friends. Absolutely fantastic job.
After reading about it, I expect to love it. I just don't wanna use it right before getting dinner with my grandma tonight, haha.Andy has outstanding customer service. You may have to wait a while for a response because he is so busy but when he does get back to you he always straightens everything out. And as for the nano its self, you will not be disappointed my friend. Just make sure you give the unit ample time to heat up before use
Whats the purpose of cotton...
Dessert! After reading about it, I expect to love it. I just don't wanna use it right before getting dinner with my grandma tonight, haha.
