Been away as life got in the way, but just wanted to update to say that Andy finally fixed my order and I received the ordered pieces and everthing is finally great!

The Nano continues to be my favourite vape of all time, even more so than Cloud. I simply don't care to grind at all anymore, and my allergies and sneezing fits have disappeared. Also notice after a 2 week break that I never cough and the vapour through dry glass stem or gong/water is always so very smooth. I'm at 6.5-7 on the dial.

Am I the only one that doesn't use the silicone sleeve on the newer adjust. gong? I find the glass so thick that it's not needed.

I'm trying to pin down what's going on with getting wood blanks from @Snappo

Currently waiting to hear from @ACE OF VAPE on details here. Apparently e nano wood needs to be kiln dried and Snappo doesn't do this. Need to know if Andy will do this process for us. Also need to know if/how this changes cost of the Nano (supplying your own wood blank), since this proposition would be more costly than buying an exotic E Nano outright.

Hope to hear about it soon!
he will not do the drying and the cost of the vape remains the same. Also he will not guarantee against cracking either. I have an email from him about this. I want a nano in a different wood...something like purple heart wood.

Thanks for your interest.
If you supply the wood the price is the same, however if don't guarantee that it won't rack. There are a lot of drying issues I can't control wapiti customer supplied wood. The blank must be 3.75 x 2.25 x2.25" and kiln dried"

Im guessing he mentioned the cracking because he had issues specifically with purple heart? Thank for the info though!

I ditched mine in favor of some SSV clear tubing. Same effect but I can see through. You can't even tell it is there. A real PITA to slide on though, not as forgiving as silicone.

But as Andy stated, I use a Cloud Buddy and the round burn mark on my arm has taught me to respect the hot GonG. :nope:

So I've found why vaping has been giving me headaches recently - vaping in the house with a Lotus and a butane torch!! I'm REALLY having a hard time not ordering that maple burl piece currently on the store!

Same one as in my sig? If so, not going to happen. She is on my desk at home.. I'm not sure if Andy is using stock photos, but I also noticed that the figured maple he currently has up also belongs to another member here.

I'll post some pics of mine tonight.. it is a beautiful piece.

I've already PM'd Andy to see what Burl he has in stock - awaiting some pictures of what he's got for sale.

Might have to buy one sooner than I thought. Been reading through this entire thread, and all these milkshot videos are kicking my VAS into high gear.

Okay so here is a little visual "how to" regarding using cotton as a medium to vape concentrates. Remember, LESS IS MORE.

Oh and if youre wondering, there is part of a SS volcano pad in my GONG, but a basket screen will work just as well. I use the mesh to soak up reclaim.

WOW!!! Your Nano is GORGEOUS!!! Andy does incredible work!!! Enjoy it, like I do mine!!!

Thank you. Although I hesitate to admit it, yours belongs in an art gallery compared to mine. I believe he referred to yours as a Maple Burl Wave.. we need more of those out in the wild.

@nihil which wood is that?

Maple Burl Exotic.

Oh, BTW: Get ready for some mighty powerful vape sessions! They can catch you by surprise!!!

Thank you.

Yes I love her dearly.. courted her, showered her with gifts, said my vows.. then I saw the pretty girl across the street. But she is mine, and I am dedicated like that. Yours though.. eye-candy.

On another note, thanks for the "heat-soak" tip a few days back. It is working out beautifully. And yes, it has caught me by surprise a few times since then.

Yes! Heat soaking is a little known well kept secret shared by few. Pass along the knowledge, but ever so discretely to only close trusted friends;)
