Which is exactly why I sold my LSV and purchased an EV2 in the January super sale. The glass heat shield is slightly different, but still 18mm all GonG and works with all my 7th Floor glass. Love it!
I consider the Nano to be a miniEV2. All the benifits of the ceramic heating cartridge in a super efficient log port/stem system. Glass stems are nothing new but Andy's 18mm GonG stems are a step up IMO. Most resistors will give out well before they can reach the temps of the ceramic cartridge. But as others have noted, that can cause combustion if not careful. The durability of the permanent power cable compared to the plugs of other log vapes will be something that only longitudinal data will be able to answer. We know other plug-in logs have been out in the wild functioning for 10+ years...
Thanks Andy, exactly what I wanted to hear. I completely agree, there's a reason ceramics have been used in vapes (and medical equipment, knives, ballistics, and space shuttles) for decades. An archaeologist usually finds ceramic pieces at a dig site because they last 100s of years.
Thanks for all the info.
