canj00digit?
All my days in a daze...
lololol you guys want me to build a pyramid while I'm at it?
It might work without removing the sleeve.. If the sleeve were removed and repair done, it may be smaller than before, and will not accept the core back inside.I wonder if it would be possible to remove the wooden sleeve, and glue and clamp the crack shut.
I have had good luck with log vapes using 2 substances for "body work"Cant he mix some PH sawdust in with some glue or epoxy and use that to spackle the thing closed? I remember that technique from wood working class wayyyyyyyyyy back when. If you get the ratio of sawdust right it even blends in perfectly with the color.

I have used JB weld in very ugly circumstances. It will always be visible as a foreign substance, but works VERY well.
For minor repairs that do not affect the way the unit holds the core, I use regular old wood putty!
Yea about that... het guys, if your stem or gong is too tight to fit properly on the heater, I suggest NOT using it and contacting Andy for a replacement. Every single piece ive had fits easily over the heating element without force, twisting, or needing to find the "right angle".
See @Osn Dosn 's post above to find out why.
Oh and bro, that black ABV looks partly combusted if you ask me.
Sorry Caligula, I think I was confusing you, because my "quote" to OsnDosn's post wasn't clear!
There are many techniques.Indeed! However I was trying to figure out a way for him to be able to match his PH wood.
Caligula and Ataxian have an idea, Canjoodigit!
Seriously, the purple heart looks fantastic. I would love to see that fixed! I am half wondering if I have some leftover hxtal from this repair if I should send it down to ya!
My girlfriend who hates the herb and all things related was admiring the E-Nano today, she said it was beautiful! Hahaha not only a great vape, but popular with the ladies. Maybe this isn't the Zippo of vaping, maybe it is the James Bond of vaporizers!
Come on mate, you and I both know that everyone of us who owns an E-Nano has serious wood It's nothing we haven't seen before, or the dude on the book cover Caligula posted for that matter!Hey, look now, I don't need you guys discussing the best ways to handle my wood.
Yeah I am warming up to the idea.
I'm getting lots of advice lately regarding my wood.
I am going to turn you on to a real solid seller that has the rarest and highest quality essential oils.Who knows of a solid website to buy oils to diffuse on the enano,
In the Ascent the herb touches a hot surface...confused
Do you. Own a killawatt? Email me and we'll see if it's performing up to specsSo I just had another session for medical research and can say that I saw quite some clouds, am well medicated, but
On the left, nano, heated up all evening, starting at 6-7-8-10, always ended up at 10, stirring giving tons of time etc
On the right, what I had left in my Ascent, same material, max heat level too.
Confused
Oh and: using a transformer, but from the beginning

Andy

In the E-Nano Hot air passes the herb.
Try to not be hypnotized by the resultant ABV color.
Convectively achieved ABV though seldom as dark is still well extracted.
* Sorry for back to back post. mods can connect them if possible. I was confused and in way too good a mood.. I goofed!

If you measure the voltage coming from the dimmer at level 1 vs level 10, you should be getting close to 0 volts at setting 1 and around 120v at setting 10. Measuring voltage on an ac unit can be very dangerous, wear rubber gloves and rubber soled shoes. Then undo the back two screws on the dimmer control. Thanks, thought I ask fc first before bothering you..
Not sure if a killawat is a voltmeter. That I own. But not with me right now..in a couple of days. Post instructions here?!
Yes I'm aware that the visual of the abv is not a sure indicator and that its direct touch with the Ascent, and not saying its better anyway. But it still feels like the Nano 's missing power on the max end. Theres no real change when I turn it up from 7-10, combustion impossible even when the herb is in direct touch with the heater..which is not the same again, but still.
