I usually leave mine on as well :-).

I have the proper 18 gong attachment so don't need 14. Sounds like I'm doing everything the same, except needing to use more than most to get the hits I desire.

I usually use my water tools for concentrates, but when I use one with herbs I generally use the the two screen method.
I just received a pack a eq screens to try with the water tool. Honestly it didn't work for shit, but my hopes weren't high. Even on 10 I couldn't get the herb to brown, maybe the results would be different with a pinched gong. I filled the gong with my normal amount of bud and dumped it into the screen. I'm going to try using more next time and a clean gong to see if my results improve at all.

More gorgeous work, I know which one's I'am recommending to my buddy who is getting one soon.

Thanks You!!!!

My nano stays on from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep, love that feature.
Took my nano to my buddy's tonight and was milking a 2 foot Old Green Label 7mm ROOR with ease.
My friend could not believe how effective, tasty, and smooth on his sore throat. HE VOWED TO GET ONE ASAP, yet another combustion'er CONVERTED over to the "Vape Side".

That's the way! Spread the love!

People around here are usually put off by that 110V thing. But when they see mine perform, and how small that 220V to 110V converter actually is, they start thinking. Still they go out and buy a Solo, because that's what's available here in the shops, can't blame them. But still, eventually they will see the light. Getting them into vaping is a good thing, Nano or No Nano Yet LOL. So far I passed 2 Nanos on, one's a keeper. Already thinking about getting a fourth... how crazy is that?

Its a good feeling to share the love and they see the light and now understand what you have been saying the whole time.

Well, looks like I need this machine as my home unit as well..

I've got a noobish question.. no experience in mixing vapes with water tools.

If I want to set it up with a bong like this
40cm-7mm-G-G-Illusion-Beaker-Bong-Blau.jpg

all I need is the 18,8mm Glass on Glass adapter for 23$ right?!
Anything else recommendable?

@newVaper420 use your e-pik to keep the gong on the nano no to the wt, that way the spent load stays put. You slide the epik in the same way but instead of lifting the gong off the nano you just twist the e-pik like a screwdriver, that motion will lock it onto the gong allowing you to twist the wt off leaving the loaded gong on the heater then flip the nano and remove gong, no mess.

OK take what I say as a grain of salt please!

The big mouth glass pieces are goofy to me personally.
I'm not a expert by any means however I bought this style of water piece when I got started.
Smaller mouth pieces are amazing to me.

Plus the angle of how your bowl sits at a 45 degree angle is not as pleasing as 90 degree.

If you get your first water piece for vaporizing get a cheap water piece and figure out what you like??

I spent a lot of money buying crap.
This year I want to be more careful.

Blue glass looks cool however the configuration is more important than the COLOR!

For now I had one made for my liking due to arrive next week!

Beaker style tubes are meant to be hit at a 45 degree angle thus making the stem at a 90. However, I totally agree that a smaller mouthpiece and really bubblers are a better fit with most vapes. Please take no offense @ataxian

That second piece (the cheap mini reti - http://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/...s-glass-oil-rig-LY003-18-8mm/1602213404.html#) works great with the nano!! Mine came in a couple weeks ago. Not the best craftsmanship - mostly that the slits are rough cut - but works great! All of the joints are clean and it is heavier glass than I was expecting. So cheap I actually picked one up for a friend of mine and she absolutely loves it for smoke or vapor. It's basically a cheap, small, knock-off of the Mobius Reti at about 10% the price.

It's a pretty small chamber so you'll probably pull some vape through before you clear it (I always do), but can't be beat for the price - at least for vapor. Haven't tried it with anything else, personally. This little puppy pairs up very nicely with the nano and is a nice travel piece as well. Nice wide stable base so you can leave the nano on top without too much worry of it tipping over. Not too much diffusion, so retains flavor well.

Can be had from a bunch of different sites - mostly shipping from China. Mine was here in 3 weeks even with holiday mail overload and a couple snow storms slowing things up. Search on "D020" in this thread for more info on it. http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/ .

Plenty of other nice cheap stuff in that thread, too. Definitely agree with all Ataxian says - especially, go cheap until you find out what you like. Then find nicer later. Not that you have to buy everything to figure what you like before you get a nicer piece, but trying out a couple things first will get you going in the right direction and help eliminate buyer's remorse when you're ready to drop a couple hundred or more on a top shelf piece.

Thanks for your input, your points with the vertical angle and smaller mouthpiece sound like they make sense

Not that I don't have glass experience for ~15 years now, nor that I would chose one by color.. the picture was just an example of the first think I found with thick walls, medium sized and with not too much space for water..and ok I like the nipples on the top.

I could get something like that for cheap; this kind of bongs is not so popular over here though

But if you're saying you prefer a smaller mouthpiece, which makes sense to me theoretically regarding the draw, wouldn't the narrower 14mm socket make more sense too?!

Edit: two more posts while I was writing this.. actually refered to @ataxian but thanks to all other thoughts too!

Eh, I've heard both theories on the mouthpiece and joint size. I prefer 18 mm joints. Not sure it makes too much difference, but feels to me like the flow is noticeably better. And, most of my stuff is 18, so keeps it pretty simple.

Also, prefer the smaller mouthpiece. Again, not sure how much difference it really makes - especially with vapor.

I guess more a matter of personal preference - but everyone I know prefers the same combo and seems to be the most popular way to go here at FC.

This is one of my many set ups.
Your selection of this pipe is a good place to start!

Go for it you will buy more as you get into it!

I picked up the reti clone on DHgate, too.

I adore mine. Much more solid feeling than I thought it would be, and smaller.

Hope Andy doesn't care about me reposting this, a x-post from the Heat Island Technology thread.

enanocutawaywithphoto.jpg

IMO, works just like the SSV and uses a similar heating element. Except with Andy's design he uses metal so the intake holes can be perfectly placed and machined, unlike the glass Heater Cover for the SSV. And the heater can't be moved up and down, so more consistent results. Nice.

That and the E-nano is so much smaller, sleek, and sexy. And a much shorter vapor path.

Guess I should start saving pennies and brownie points.

Edit: Found a pic of the E-nano heater too, for those who are interested. Forgive me if all of this is in the thread already.

Got this little monster from fellow member @llamaman001 yesterday! It's a cgraz mini circ. it has a beautiful little green, white and black implosion wigwag in the bottom. This is the most perfect piece of glass I've ever paired with the nano. I just love it! The nano has zero problems chalking it and it clears ultra fast. Plus the wide base makes it as steady as a surgeon with the nano on it. I believe I now have the perfect setup! Happy camper right here. Just thought I'd share.
It's dirty but I've been working it really hard the last 24 hours.
