I can get huge clouds on just herb alone also, but this thing is built to handle concentrates with out breaking a sweat.
I suck up some medium ground bud until the stem is 1/4-1/3 full.

I have been getting great results with a tiny bit barely covering the screen or bit more, then I tap down the herb so it sits right at the taper point in the glass gong( hard to see) then I can turn up my nano to as high as 8.5 or even 9 and get huge hits no burning just very dark brown after 2-3 hits.

When I first ordered my e-nano the 14mm gong came with a screen in it with a circular metal ring that held the screen in place. I just recieved my new 14mm gong and it does not have the circular metal ring to hold the screen in place so Ive already wasted 5 loads because the screen keeps tossing and turning all over the place so Im unable to stir any of the loads without loosing them and having all the product fall in my bubbler, forcing me to clean it each time. Very frustrated by this...is there any place that sells the metal rings Im talking about because without it this new 14mm is useless to me.

When I use lower temp settings I like to load more and stir. But even when I am ripping it sometimes when I pulling on it the force will flip the screen or when I stop pulling the back draft from the water will cause the screen to flip and spill the contents as well.

I find that I take a huge hit but when vapor starts to taper off, I then stir and break up material as I stir to create more surface area and get another huge hit. If I try to take the second hit with out stirring I dont get much vapor. So I would say its not necessary but it helps to get a second or 3 hit if you like.
Sucks @llamaman001 , I had ordered a screened gong and was graciously upgraded to a all glass one.
I am sorry to hear that you lost material, I read somewhere that once the gong gets some residue the screen stays in place but i still feel your pain. I thought he screened gong had a grove of some sort to hold screen!?
I have a gridded up perc and the water level drops as you pull and the water level rises back when you stop pulling, its so annoying that it shoots my abv everywhere. I have adapted to taking off the bowl while carbing the piece and placing bowl back after I stop pulling and water pressure stabilizes.

I ordered the all glass gong, good to see i made the right choice. Funny thing is I dont even have one piece of glass right now lol. It was either glass or Nano, went with the Nano, and bought the GONG for later when I can get the glass i want. Maybe I'll buy a very cheap bong in the meantime.

Speaking of all glass... my stem is the all glass version. Will the screens for the pinched stem work in my all glass unit or will they be too small a diameter? I test fit one and the thing would fall out, flip over, etc...
Do you guys do the larger diameter (then the stem diameter) domed screen thing like people do with Solo stems? I never had one of those pop out... in fact they ate hard to get out on purpose!

I fixed the problem by shoving one of the underdogs "bowl" like screens in there, works perfect now with no worry of it falling out. Thanks for the help though guys!

I tried this as well as trying many differently cut screens and none would work, they would twist or fall out and I think its due to the inside of the bowl slightly tapering.
The all glass gong has been working flawlessly but I could see adding a screen could reduce abv particles. I wonder if the screen versions allow more are flow?

I don't grind or stir with the NANO or VAPOLUTION.
My SOLO'S I grind however never stir!
The LSV has a larger bowl so grind and stir that one.

Yes, convection concentrate dabs are great fun. Gotta love that time of the year, fresh outdoor grown concentrates! And they have never been so much fun as with the Nano.

The screen size is 3/8" for all gong's and stems offered by Andy. So yes the UD screens do fit, I'm using some right now! The gong's without the glass screen are a bitch to use, eventually they'll sort of stick and you can stir without flipping the screen and dumping your bowl out every time. I've had better luck with the pinched stems than the pinched gong's... I'm guessing because the gong is generally inverted and more prone to being stirred. IMO the only way to use the Nano is with a glass honeycomb screened gong or stem. The pinched ones work but they're a lot more difficult to use.
You'll have the best experience with the honeycomb screened stems/gongs plus a steel screen to trap the finer particulates
