Been lurking here a bit but ordered my Ti Woody, finally, about 2 weeks back. The anticipation is killing me! lol

I was wondering why some Woodies had a metal collar on the mouthpiece end. I know now that it's something you can request with George. Is there an additional fee? Is there a preference/pro/con to getting it collared or keeping it..ahem, bare?

just checked no emails so logged onto my account on dynavap and checked my order status is processing... hmmm guess the 420 sale has increased their jobload lol at least I can still safely guess that I will receive my vapcap stuff before my gh.........

Don't worry you didn't receive a confirmation email. Processing is all it will say until it is bagged and shipped. This ain't amazon, ya know. George was already busy, and I think shipping in about 2 weeks on much stuff, before 4/20. I'm sure he crushed it with that sale and so much new interest in his awesome vapes.

You'll probably get an email when it ships, and you should definitely get a USPS tracking number in a separate email. Until then your order will show as processing on the website.

I know it can be tough to wait, but I'm sure George himself will be along soon with a rough idea of shipping times. I'd suggest you try not to pester too much in the meantime. More time handling emails is less time assembling, packing and shipping vapes - yours and everyone elses.

Got my vapcaps last night
Ordered 3 OG
And a TI blackwood
I guess George decided to give me one of the OG vap caps the double barrel 2 carb hole kind to try out, thanks.

First bowl finger ground coarse i combusted on the second heat cycle heated way past the click (TV and computer loudness didn't help.) So into an iso soak that goes, had better luck on my 2nd and 3rd bowl also turning off the TV. Tried the Ti blackwood so far has a slightly better performance. Im getting like 5 heat cycles i guess because i was afraid to combust again, im sure my technique will get better, the load was pretty done but could have been darker, or more fully done. I think now that i got the hang of it ill have better usage. Day 1 pretty good so far but i have got a bit to learn.

No I have not but I am not worried as it seems like George has his shit together from a manufacturing standpoint & he does respond to emails. There are backorders it appears but you may notice that there is no shipping thread for this one.......

Glad you got a ti woody. I ordered mine in March and last check, George was out of wood. Hope that you getting one means that mine will be coming soon.

So after running my first 4$20 special, I am shocked and awed. More orders in one day than the entire month of January! Oh boy. What an intense day. So now I am prepping orders and hope to have most VapCap orders out in about a week. So in the midst of all this, I couldn't resist another idea I had for a new variation of the woody or OmniVap body. I call it copper puddles. What do you think?

I love the look. It is rather complex and there are rivers of copper and silver in various states of alloying and flow.
There are many other units on the list for development.

Very pretty those copper puddles @VapCap makes a already beautiful device even more elegant. Last night I had my first go with the much anticipated omni vap baring in mind it was only one bowl I had as I'm on other meds and I assured my girlfriend I'd only have the one bowl I'm absolutely blown away by this device it's not just a step up over the OG version it's a whole new level. Heat up time is far quicker as its pure ti and therefore more heat conductive, taste of the bud was on par with the glass version which surprised me and the click wasn't just quicker it was more pronounced too. Seems to extract better as well being all metal construction, anyone else found this? My abv came out a nice toasted tan brown nigh on perfect extraction.

Much more testing is needed for me to give a true overview of my impressions of the device but I love everything about it so far, another plus point for me is its clearly a hardier device than the glass, brittle version I have before, I'll keep the OG for the girlfriend and she's more light fingered than me.

George included a glass body piece as well so I'm in the customising game now to, modding this little baby up is fast becoming my new past time.

@priestsmiler if the wait gets to bad I can meet you for a 'hot box' session in Ikea's car park. Then go into Radford for something to kill the munchies with. It is a tough wait but well worth it.

@Ruta got a bit of practice in before he sets to on his stem. Whilst I sat and watched I had a thought, so yesterday I became 'Dremel Man'.

Got the usual WTF head shaking from Ruta he knows that making stems has become a bit of a compulsion for me. Vape a bowl and my heads off racing.
I can only imagine how Mrs. Vapcap feels every time George says 'Just going to the workshop won't be long'. Excellent news on the 4$20 sale @VapCap.

Man, not bad - looks really nice actually. What about the effects? Is it more "convectional"? Less draw resistant? Tell us!! :)
I guess this might interest @Tommy10 too, who was also thinking about tweaking IIRC?

I'm not sure a vaporizer has ever been this cheap. Especially a vaporizer that works just like it says it does. George's 420 sale was just what I needed to push me over that VC edge. That and all these wonderful posts in this thread by everyone including me friend @phattpiggie. I figured I can't let phatts have all the fun. Thanks for all the great info everyone,all I know is that I can't wait to hear my mf'ing click.JK

Many thanks to @phattpiggie for the use of his lathe, and for his guidance yesterday, shame i didn't get round to making my stem for my new Ti end, decided i needed a bit of practice first :)
Made myself a Mahl stick instead, definitely feel more confident for when i do my stem, again thanks to @phattpiggie, especially for manning up when i was too scared to do the final thinning one handed, the stick is 24inch long so had a bit of a wobble on in the end!!
Sorry the pic doesn't add any more vapcap porn to this thread, think you all need a breather anyways :)

Your cap doesn't appear to have a groove to keep the 'clicker' mechanism in place, how does that work?

Is that a standard OG glass stem that you've modded?

I can see that we are entering the state of a Vapcap body for every day of the week. LOVING IT!!!!
