@cwheezy wow that's awesome service!
Can I ask, have you noticed any difference in use/vapor between the old tip and the new tip? And how much was it to just upgrade the tip? I have one of the original ti Woody, with the first tip design. I'm awaiting a fix/replacement, as unfortunately my wood sleeve arrived with a crack on both ends, both of which are getting worse with use (note to anyone new to the thread- this cracking issue has been resolved afaik, with George adding a metal collar to the end, so there's no worries about it happening to new orders ). But I've noticed that the tip end of the wood sleeve is blackening from the heat cycles, and it also looks like another crack is beginning to form too (all cracks have been due to an unfortunate grain).

If there's a noticeable difference between tips (functionally, not aesthetically), then I may add a tip to my order too. But then I'm also awaiting an omnivap, which I assume comes with the new tip, so I could just wait out for that, and swap bodies as and when. Can't wait for the omnivap!

I love this vape, and the company- George is a star man, and it's amazing to watch this venture take off.

@NickDlow I believe you have a custom wood sleeve from Edstnt, I contacted him last week as I was interested in getting a custom sleeve, thicker in both ends to avoid cracking etc, but he informed me that the bigger/custom pieces such as you have are without the condenser. I was just wondering if you could let me know how well the custom pieces function without the condenser- is the vapor on par with a real ti Woody? Thanks in advance guys!

Spread the Vapcap love guys- I've been showing it to everyone I know (that are herb friendly) over here in the uk, and everyone wants one!!

Peace and love people!

I had issue with things being missing from my first order and my VapCap was missing the clicker on the cap. I keep seeing all of this new stuff come out and I can wait to see a shipping notice from Dynavap.

I believe he is saying that you're just getting a wood body and nothing else from him. I already had a Ti woody and just switched out the parts (condenser included) and it works flawlessly. Just needs to be the correct length, around 3" +/-.

How difficult was switching out the parts?

Any difference in the quality of the vapor, it being 17mm longer?

EDIT: I'm talking about the XL Condenser with the new tips.

Not sure. I only have one of the original Ti/woody so I can't compare, sorry. I can't imagine much of a difference. Though I'm not the pickiest vapor snob lol. As long as it's not on fire, it's allllllllll good.

Switching bodies is a breeze!!!

I have both ti-tips, and the new spiraled one for me works better(and worthed the upgrade), meaning a more easily controlled extraction. I have the feeling the old one runs hotter (if you follow the click) and is more a one hitter.

With the new tip is easier for me to make a session last longer while getting vapor all along. with the old one i experienced often 1-2cycles with very few/nothing on exhale than the blast in one hit, same heat management with the new one gives me vapor since first cycle (but a smaller blast-unless i heat 1sec after the click.

I had both tip at same time- old glassy / new OV.
I broke the glass barrel after 10 days and never mounted the old tip on OV (I tried once when I received but the choice was clear to me.) so my experience with old tip is smaller than the new one.

If I had to choose only one vape in my small set it would be OV without questions. If a second one was allowed it would be a log for use with water filtration. HI maybe over enano just because it is easier to run on power bank, or nano for its bigger heater... second choice would be harder to choose than first choice :-)

This is probably obvious, but the Vong is too thick to fit in the DynaStash, right?

cybrguy,
@Copacetic
Must be a VonG-ONLY version, since the ER is bored to fit a fatty mp, now, but I can't imagine he'd want the normal vaps having too much room to rattle around in there. Or maybe he has some other neat trick up his sleeve.

Well, I'd hate to speculate.....
OK, that's a lie, I love to speculate, I live for it!
Speculation is my 'stock in trade'!
........but I think you're right.
I have a pre-production DynastashER, and I'd guess that (guess) an OG mouthpiece will fit, but I can't even get the wide end of a 14mm joint in there.
The narrow end fits in, but only to about 40% of the length of the joint.

I further guess that George might not have to add a great deal to the thickness of the StashER to accommodate a 14mm VonG.

It would be cool if 'stashERs for both types of Vapcap were available.
Maybe the VonG 'stashER will also be long enough to accept the XL VCs?

cybrguy

My Dynastash is narrow enough that even the fatty mp doesn't fit in it, but not being able to rattle around inside the stash is a good thing and I'd rather it be too tight than too loose. (ba dump bump)

Right, I thought I remembered you mentioning swapping the condenser into the new wood body quite a few pages back. @Ed's TnT was under the impression though that you were using it without the condenser.

Well that's great to know then- i was thinking about it, and I figure as long as there is an o-ring in between the carbhole and your mouth, the length of the condenser shouldn't matter (as long as the condenser extends through the oring. Il have to hit up Ed in a few weeks then, because he said he's pretty tied up with mass orders at the moment. Sounds good tho, I like the thought of a more cigar shape wood sleeve!

Wow @Andreaerdna , thank you for such an informative reply- that's really good to know! As I'm waiting on the omnivap, I think il just hang on and not bother purchasing a new tip for the Woody, and see how I like the new tip. I seem to get the same results as you with the old tip, with the first two heat cycles almost 'preheating' the bowl, and not producing much exhale (but lots of flavour), and then on the third cycle- BOOM, a very very satisfying dense cloud which hits like a train! I'm interested in trying the new tip when the omni arrives.

Also, I'd just like to add my two pence as for as why I think I love the Vapcap so much. For me, the Vapcap provides a way to get a hit of the whole cannabinoid profile with each hit, which is quite rare in many vapes because a lot tend to ramp up in temperature meaning your first hit will be predominantly flavour/terpenes, followed by more uplifting thc-laden hits, and then following on to the more sedative/couch lock cbd/cbn.

Depending on your vaporiser, if you tend to only take one or two hits from your vape, and then put it away, then you probably are receiving hits that are predominantly one way or another. I believe this contributes to the difference that smokers notice when trying to convert to vaping.

The Vapcap however, is a bit different. Sure, you can taylor your hits to be more low temp/ high temp by controlling flame length/distance/heating technique. But where the Vapcap shines (if you chose to use it this way) is extracting everything in the bowl at a high temp, without combusting, within one or two (or 3) hits. It really lets you get a good sense of the overall effects of the strain you're using. Iv found since converting to vape only, that strains don't really feel very different in a lot of my vapes, because of the manner that they extract the goodies. Using the Vapcap I defo tend to notice more of the differences between strains.

And one other way in which the Vapcap absolutely shines (for me) is that it has pretty much eliminated my 'vape cough'. Many of my vaporisers can make me cough pretty bad on higher temps or bigger hits, and it always confused me as to why this is. Obviously vapour is drier than smoke (even though that might seem illogical), so that has a part to play. But I think a lot of it stems from the fact that almost all my vapes require me to breathe the vapour straight down into my lungs, instead of how you naturally would smoke a cigarette - draw into your mouth using your cheeks, and then breathe in the hit once you have taken the cig from your mouth. I mean, have you ever tried smoking a cigarette by breathing it straight down into your lungs? Don't! I definitely don't recommend it!!

By drawing into your mouth first, you allow the vapor to cool and I guess add some moisture from the inside of your mouth, before letting it enter your lungs. I've found by utilising @natural farmer 's technique of keepin the carb closed, I can hit the ti Woody like a cigarette, and receive the densest of vapour in the process. I do not cough with the Vapcap!!!

So I guess this is also a PSA- if you have trouble coughing when vaping, BUY A TITANIUM WOODY VAPCAP (or any other Vapcap really). Btw, im not a shill .

Peace out people

I agree with you 100% I love covective grassy taste in a cloud of vapor (enano like) but, I feel in in the lungs the dryiness, so i use them only throug water (and still feel it)

IME VM is the other vape that is able to chill big clouds without water, IME VC is faster, more effective (more even roast IMO) and smaller, and click feed backed.

And getting some rest and recuperation.

And just in case you don't like the larger 14mm end, well the modular XL kit can dress things up a bit. :)

And just like all of the new mouthpieces, it still spins, and maybe turns heads too.

So on to some other news, as it has been a while. I have been making some good progress with shipments the last few days with a good mailbox or more full of these packages going out. The VapCap is putting on some miles or kilometers depending on your perspective too. I have now had orders from 35 countries and counting! It is kind of stunning for me to think this little idea has spread so far so fast, and since it was essentially released here, I have this community to thank. So Thank you!
Also, my sad little website which has been much over grown, is undergoing a major overhaul. I have to chuckle a bit when I think back to when I was launching it. I had 1 product, the VapCap, one prototype product, the PyroVap, and one accessory, a torch. A lot has changed here in the last five or six months.
So everything will be updated, new pictures, and interface.

Thank you again for your patience with me and my shipment delays. I am confident the wait time will diminish as I continue to scale my operation and improve my production efficiency, but be sure about one thing; being more efficient, means I will be able to do more development and create more fun and interesting things. In fact, I don't think there is anything I would rather be doing. I don't go to work anymore, I go to, well I don't know what to call it but it is awesome!

Cheers,

George

Wow, 35 countries! Thank you George for coming up with the most innovative technology the vaporization world has seen since the introduction of the Volcano. There is no question that the VC is the best all around vaporizer one can buy....in terms of price, efficiency, ease of use and lack of battery-electricity connectivity. No need to say "IMHO." These are just the facts.

Lets not forget one of the most sleek and elegant vapes you can own right now.

I'm wondering if George is planning on changing the sizes of the current regular condenser tubes. The one thing I've noticed is the condenser actually sticks out further than the wooden without the MP thus creating a lot of resistance. It's odd, with my new tip, my regular condenser doesn't fit as nicely although the tip appears to be the same inner diameter and doesn't really insert any deeper into the wood than the previous TI tip but it just doesn't. With the cap on it is like it's plugged, though if I put my old tip on it's fine. So when the XL condensers are in they barely meet the lip of the wood, and the air flow is plentiful. But I still don't see what the problem is with the regular condenser and new tip that I have.

Also @VapCap these Viton O-rings are great and slide in and out of the bodies a lot better. The other ones kept folding over as I was twisting it in. Thank you so much, again!

Good to hear some feedback on other o-ring materials, cause being able to ISO soak while everything is still attached and set up (on a non-woodie) would be killer. On a related note, the black o-rings drive me INSANE when I'm putting my condenser in. @VapCap if there's another material that would stay the f in place when we push the condenser in (I know, the condenser tubes are notched now, but while it's better than nothing, they still come off too easily), that might be worth investigating. I guess I should try lubing it with PG next tear down, and see if I have better luck -- I just hate the sweet smell it imparts.
