I was also thinking about the idea of sawing off a 5mm off the Woodwind capacitor. Then it will be the same length as Hyperdyne. By the way, the Woodwind capacitor works great with the Hyperdyn mouthpiece and even makes clicks as it locks into the grooves of the mouthpiece. At the maximum submerged position in the Hyperdyne mouthpiece, it corresponds to the third position of the native Hyperdyn capacitor, which is the same as my usual Hyperdyn settings.I'm leaning towards shortening the WW condenser, as I'm really happy with it in the Vongwynd (!)but the one tip that chokes it is it's own original VonG tip, and that one works well (though I personally find others more esthetic).
Suppose I could run it with no condenser? And clean it more often?
The hard part for this noob is remembering which combos work best in tip x stem x condenser/mouthpiece x torch.
