Welcome to the forum!
I haven't tried the new Hydra yet.
But I can say that the 2019 M has excellent reviews from owners, and my NonaVong XLS sits with its Titanium Tip in an eyeglass case with most of my Shadow M,
while I use my Shadow M's Stainless Steel tip in my various glass stems.
You may or may not, love the hydra, but you CAN'T go wrong with the M.
imho, you'll find BETTER results, in a WIDER range of stems, that the Stainless Steel tip will be a CHAMPION in, than you likely will, the Titanium tip.
*EDIT*
I should qualify or clarify that statement a bit. What's more important than WHICH tip will serve you BETTER is...
WHY.
There's nothing per se, wrong with the titanium tip. It's just that it's a specialized tip for specialized circumstances.
If you are standing outside fixing to go in some place and want to vape a couple of quick hits, then the titanium tip is your best friend outside.
Mainly because it heats up faster than stainless steel does and so it's easier to heat outside in the elements.
The blessing and curse of the titanium tip is that it also cools faster than stainless steel. That's great if you're trying to cut down the time between Cycles.
But it means you'll be heating more cycles to get the same benefits from your Capful. Particularly if you're outside.
If you're vaping inside and intend to enjoy a long full session, stainless steel is definitely your best friend. The titanium tip under equal conditions and setups will Brown out your herb faster in shorter Cycles than the stainless steel tip will.
So really, it's a trade-off depending on what's most important to you, like where and how you vape, time constraints, etc.
You can actually get excellent use out of the titanium tip depending on the factors involved.
But in general it's easier and a better overall experience if you're doing anything more than a couple of quick hits, to go with a stainless steel tip in whatever stem you're using.
Happy Vaping!
