I can't believe it took me this long to discover DynaVap.

So, some time a week or 2 ago, I saw one of Squiby's posts (here: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/simrell-collection.33851/page-4#post-1328668) and fell in love. I thought that piece looked so beautiful, so I decided to check out the DynaVap thread...

Over the next week I found myself unable to stop myself reading about everything VapCap related, and watching every video I could find etc. I was completely enthralled.

Shortly after that, I ordered my first: the OmniVap Ti.

Really, really big fan of this thing. Definitely closest to joint/cigs I've felt with a vape. And the design! Not just the impressive engineering, but the modular/customization aspect is absolute genius as well. Really really impressed on this level. Already a thousand extras I want

I just need to figure out how I like it best, after I order some more stuff for testing purposes. Need to test XL length vs standard, put in more testing on carb vs no carb... though I'm leaning heavily towards no carb. Any tips on good 'settings' for closest feeling to a cigarette or joint?

Also, just had my first cap using the PSM...

I can imagine an ad in the style of an old 50s/60s cigarette ad, with a guy in a suit walking out the door to head to work and sticking his VapCap in a 'futuristic' wall mounted IH with the caption "Don't forget your VapCap! Now with optional Induction Heater!"

Ok I just poured out capfull of avb on myself while sitting staring off into space thinking of what else I wanted to ramble about... so that'll do... I am really feeling quite good right now. This thing gets it done and gets it done fast. Tastes good. Feels good to use. I'm in love.

So this is probably more a general weed question than Vapcap specific - what do you guys do with really, really dry, brittle herb that has been well cured? If it's that dry what is vaporized? I have some really smooth no-name brand weed but it gives me fuck all vapor I'm guessing it is what it is.... but any tips, anyone?

I put Boveda packs in all my herb. Keeps it at a perfect moisture content. If it needs moisture it will add it. If it’s too moist it will take it away. And they are dirt cheap and readily available.

Yes, you can. That is how Princess @Squiby rolls. But you may also want to try a coarser grind. I use a medium grind (from an SLX) and I rarely get anything through the screen/CCD.

I’ve had good luck with doing this. Plus after a few weeks that little ball of hemp fiber is full of goodness and can be vaped itself. I put a small ball inside the back of the tip (behind the filter). Different placement than Squiby, works fine.

Safe, sure; effective, not so much. Also, if you go with the filter and accidentally combust you'll have to swap it out as well as thoroughly clean the unit.
But after a week or so combustion free you cap poke some degummed hemp fiber (or even better, a little nugget) down the condenser and vape heady, potent reclaim as a special treat before cleaning

@Mikey high temp organic vape cotton is just as good and you can get it at any vape shop.

@phattpiggie Thanks for that video, I'm going to have to take a video with me doing a back 2 back with my omni and vapman. I'll do that after work and post it up.

Day4: I have better control with my vapman despite the the cap having the click. Though I find the cap to be much more efficient and better with concentrates than the vapman. I used to use concentrates with my vapman but now the cap took that driver's seat. But for herb due to my technique I barely just barely gives the edge to the Vapman.

I'm going to do hash with the unit next and see how it performs. I'm love testing so many things with my cap. I regret nothing!

I get it from Amazon it's a 300 mesh SS screen, I also use it as a second filter over the CCD to prevent tiny bits to get in the condenser I punch them out with a 8mm punch hole.
