I can only compare my Vapcap M and my Omnivap XL, earlier than I used a lighter before I had my IH, the upgrade from my M to the Omnivap XL made it more easy to spin it also a little smoother hits, and I prefer general the XL feels more like a joint. When you have large hands I would take the XL.

Most portable induction heaters are the Portside Mini from @Pipes or from @mr_cfromcali the Fluxer Deluxe.

Portside Mini fits good in a jacket pocket or baggy jeans :) good that is now winter here so I have enough options to carry my Portside Mini with me. Easy for on the go hitting, Portside Mini in my jacket pocket, omni in my hand in my jacket pocket search the hole stick it in waiting for the feel of the click and inhale :)

They operate exactly the same with the XL version being 17mm longer than the standard Omni. The vapor won't change but the longer XL is easier to twirl if you have large hands. I use the standard length when out and about for the ease of carrying a tiny teeny weeny vape and use the XL version at home. The standard size is just so cute.

Overall, I prefer to use the XL Vapcaps.

Generations 4 and up are very very similar in every aspect. I prefer the 7 finned gen 4 and the LE for purely aesthetic reasons. I just like the look of the extra fins. Could I tell the difference between them in a blind comparison? I really don't think so.

You will notice that the the 7 fin LE and 5 fin 6th generation tips have tapered fins and rounded valleys while the previous generations have squared fins and square valleys.

LE = Limited Edition.

When George/Dynavap evolved their 7 finned 4th generation tip to the 5 finned 5th generation tip, many members mourned the end of the 7 finned tip.

George is very tuned into his customers suggestions, so he decided to create another redesigned 7 fined tip as a limited edition, which we refer to as the 7 fin LE.

On XL vs non XL. I have been in this parade since the OG made of glass and have evolved right along with VapCap. After the glass I got a Ti Woody-S* and picked up an M (or several) when it came out. Up till then nearly all VCs were standard size but I didn't jump when the first XLs arrived. My first XL was a Nonavong XLS*. I don't have particularly large hands so I wasn't ready for how much I like the XL length. I do, I really do. Enough so that when I find a nice black mouthpiece I will XLerize my new Shadow M. I also have a Ti Omni XL that I really like.

So now, the only Non XL VCs I have are my original M, a Nonavong dedicated to water use (XL unnecessary as I don't really hold it) The Shadow (only temporarily) and my early Woody-S that, having a body instead of a stem, will remain standard size as it is beautiful and lengthening it would make it ugly. I really have come to prefer the XL length to hold and particularly to spin. But it IS a matter of taste and many don't need/care for it.

*S indicates Spinning MP.

@Dynavaper - got my silo xl last week and I am sad to say that I think it is a waste of money. The silo xl is in reality a standard silo with a crappy extension piece you screw on to make if fit the XL. Where the two parts of the silo join there is a lip INSIDE the silo that catches on your cap every time you remove it. It only holds 1.5g of ground bud. Buy a Dynastash instead.

I'm amazed at how small they are, I can totally conceal the M in my hand. I'm sure an XL of some sort will be in my future. It seems it'll fit my hand better, especially for spinning while heating.
I've caught myself putting it up to my lips to spark it light a J several times already.
I keep the carb closed with my finger. Sometimes I'll roll it slightly at the end of my puff to add a bit of air but otherwise it's shut. After a session I suck cool air through a few times for cooling, a couple with the carb closed and a couple with it open. Overall, I'd prefer no carb.
Love the flavor, no more ashtray taste! No more coughing! Very clean high!

The little SnapStash that came with my kit is pretty cool! It seals tight but pops right open with a squeeze and it works quite well. I'm dumping my AVB into it and it's nearly half full already.

You can buy stems from other people here with no carb hole, or you can move the o-ring on the condenser tube so it’s above the carb hole to cut off airflow. You can also use it to cover part of the carb but not all of you want some airflow but not as much.

Congratulations! You will LOVE it. I thought I loved mine when I first got it, and that love has only grown. If ever I lost mine, though I shudder to think, I would re-order it that same day.

Thanks so much for all the responses. I don't know what didn't click (har har) with me before but I now have this childlike sense of urgency because there is so much vapcap related I already want and I can't get it fast enough :lol:

No condenser, no carb. So each draw is hot and dense? Is it safe to assume that if you prefer no carb your preference is big hits, thick vapor,bowl spent in 1-3 draws? With the carb, lower temp vaping, more airflow, more draws, cooler vapor?

What effect does removing the condensor provide?
