@cybrguy & @pxl_jockey :wave:I'm a manual reader too. It drives my family nuts when they give me something at Christmas that has a manual. I open that first. I like to know how the manufacturer suggests I use the device I bought from them. It avoids a lot of unnecessary problems. And I'm a nerd. I dig details.

I love reading liner notes in albums too-I learned so much from them over the years. The manuals and liner notes often-times include backstory, and I love back-story. I love to know how things work and how things come into this world. It's fascinating.

And sometimes it's funny as shit to read a manual written in English by someone for whom English is not their second language.

And as you can see from my post that I couldn't wait for my green package to arrive before I indulged. I just had about .07g of Blue Dream in my '18 M. Wow-that is one sweet little vape. Regardless of price, but at $60 + a heat source-what a frickin' value. Personally I can't wait until they offer the '18 M tip as a part. I'll get at least another two or 3. Perfect for vongs and it shines for "Sip & Dip".

Happy Day FCers

Even though I've been reading the thread for a while, I never got around to check out your videos. Glad I did. Tried out reclaim today for the first time. Totally worth it.:spliff:
Anyways, love your music

I was ordering my 40% off gear, and out of pure excitement I accidentally grabbed an omni instead of the XL, but that’s okay, I’ll enjoy it the same.
I had such a hard time deciding, the clock was ticking and I wasn't certain if I will be able to log back on so I just bought both. Whichever I buy it was only a matter of time before I buy the other so might as well get them both at once:D

Thank you. After watching I was able to just use my thumb and forefinger to slide them apart-like an idiot I'd been trying to pull them apart. :bang::hmm::shrug:

Cuz once I tried to slide them apart it was a piece of cake.

Thanks.
Thread... Moves.. so... Fast.. :)

Yes, slide them magnets.. pulling on them is like trying to hammer a screw.. it might work, but it's not that effecient

Glad you got it sorted

I think the way they did this sale was brilliant. They created MUCH excitement with the flash 40%, which certainly led to more sales even when the 40% wasn't active. Very clever and good business. 40% creates a lot of loyalty in a good way. They are becoming a force... :)

@cybrguy yea those fellas over at DV are alright even though I did not participate in the sale it's great for everyone needing a good deal and free shipping! I'm with you cybrguy on the hammered out stem by SDS although I wouldn't mind the knurled one at all. has anyone here tried the Citadel flat flame yet? curious about that lil one $$

When the cap is at it's "OFF" state (cool) the tiny hole at the bottom of the cap is open.
When the bimetallic disc(s) snap ,the the "nipple" of the "outer" disc ,"sticks-out" into the tiny hole and seals it ,but also provides a visual feedback ,since now the tiny cap hole is closed and the disc's "nipple" can be seen ,through the tiny hole that has been sealed.

A rough idea for a visual feedback ,without having to alter cap manufacturing dramatically .

Cheers.
Lol. I was just about to reply to cyberguy with this exact same principal! I was thinking of a rod over your nipple (leave my words in context @SloJimFizz ;)) but same idea. I was wondering if the hole in the cap would create temp problems for the click...

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
Wide Eyed and Capless.
So enough heat is stored in the tip to go capless? :hmm: That was an M17 with more mass as well.

Interesting idea. :hmm:How sealed is the walls for the off heat 'switch' were you imagining? How much of a bulge would be needed for the ball to bulge out?

My Omni gives me hepatic feedback when it clicks. BTW.

I believe there is an inner wall. The 2nd wall being the indicator. I'm thinking the mass would be different, so that factor in as well. Would there be inside pressure between the enclosed walls? Would that be a good thing as well?

And that was a M's ss tip, too; not a ti.

@phattpiggie's 1st condenserless vid. looked great. Those are the type of clouds I get, but on a noticeably smaller scale not having his lung capacity. pp inhales hard & deeply. I inhale slowly & just release the carb as nec. to maintain an even density & smoothness of vapor as it travel upwards .... in to me. :leaf: :D

I don't understand what you're trying to say here, but I would like to. :D

Yes the metal on the disc (rod or nipple) would affect heat storage and dissipation. Also a hole in the base of the cap might let heat escape and affect the heat storage and dissipation. And affecting the heat storage and dissipation of the disks might stop them clicking in the right temperature range.

The concept of these devices simply astounds me. Given the astonishing amount of variables in the vapcap (local temp & pressure, lighter type, material type, technique variation, tip material, tip generation, thermal conducting properties of the bodies etc) That the click almost always performs to a pretty exacting level is astonishing!

Sometimes when I heating up my vapcap with torch, there is a tiny spake come out with the clicks. I don't know the theory behind this phenomenon, but may be the scientist guy can found out and turn this spake thing intentionally to come out with the clicks as a visual indicator:science:

EDIT: Spark not spake:bang:

I hoped I'd be done with the questions, but I think that's impossible, so please bear with me. When I first started reading this thread there was a post about using an old cigarette holder as a stem (or as vapcap holder). I did a bit of research in here and found a few posts considering this. But I would like to ask you guys, if any of you tried this and worked properly? I found a few wooden 8mm cigarette holders I'd like to try. My reasoning for using something like this would be to get a bit cooler vapour (possibly?) and avoid the warmth of the M mouthpiece (I have sensitive skin and my lips get easily chapped), until I get to buy a custom stem.
