I am going to be ordering the VapCap M today. This will actually be my first vape. I have a few questions:

1. Should I order from PIU or direct from the site?

2. Should I get extra SS or Titanium screens?

3. Do both the Condenser O-Ring kit and the High Temp O-Ring kit fit the M?

4. Are there any other accessories that are important?

Really...Order from whichever you are comfortable with. PIU is a great site and the guy frequents the forum and helps look out for us. It's where i normally order from as long as he has what I'm wanting. But nothing wrong with ordering direct... I think George makes money either way LOL

Definitely get extra screens... I prefer the SS ones but some prefer the Ti. They are interchangeable so you can use either.

Yes high temp for the tip and condenser on the condenser. So yes to both.

Besides a good torch, a small stash for herb and a couple strong magnets for holding and removing the cap are very helpful.

I was always a fantastic alcohol drinker. Wine & Spirits. 10-15 Gin and Tonic and half of a Whisky bottle were nothing on a party with a good friend. I did not drink regularly, but once in a month and then I did it "right".

Do you want to know what one of the best things in my life has been?
When I had to completely stop alcohol consumption caused by a chronic intestine inflammation last year. Now I am the guy who drives the car after a party instead of being brought home. And it's great. It's absolutely great. Alcohol is really nice during consumption, but I seriously do not miss the day(s) after. I am above the age of 40, so it was rather days, than just a day. Cannabis is such a sweeter buzz with much less byeffects. I can blast myself away in the evening of a hard and frustrating day and still feel absolutely well the next day.

Now, I have to bear the stupid stuff people talk and do on parties when they are drunk. That's the only downside. But fuck alcohol! I wish I could have come to that decision without external pressure, but still it's true. It's such a stupid thing to have this destructive drug legally available while I have to hide in a corner with my cannabis vaporizer.

I can only recommend to anybody to go on a one year alcohol break. If you still miss it afterwards - Go have a drink. But I am more than convinced that you will enjoy being sober after that period and never look back. If you never drink enough to suffer the next day, then go on with your routine. Nothing wrong with that way of consumption. Cheers!

I understand bro! Back when i was in the military i drank daily. Especially while deployed, despite some rules. Couldn't smoke/vape. I was a fish.

These days i only drink once a month or so.... Now i might also have a beer or 2 when fishing or at a restaurant here and there... But as far as actually drinking enough to feel anything from it... That's reserved for once a month nowadays. And normally it's during a get together or party. Last night an old buddy came by and we indulged a bit more than expected LOL


I drink, i smoke cigarettes, and i vape herb.... The only one i really want to quit is the cigarettes.

Them fuckers are the devil! They should be outlawed at once.

DEFINITELY get the SS screens for your M! while both types of screen work for the Ti-Tips (i prefer the SS) i have found the Ti screens don't fit the M they are smaller and just fall out.

This may be an anomaly with the screens or tip i was using but tried two Ti screens and they both fell straight out.... So i wouldn't risk it..

1. They both provide great customer service. I recommend DV the first time, create an account and you’ll be eligible for existing customer promotions (which have been very good in the past)

2. Since you’re starting with a stainless DV, I recommend SS screens.

I have a friend who really couldn't cope with the twisting and listening for the click business, his first impressions of the VC weren't good.
A proud ex smoker who can remember how many months/days he's kicked nicotine for, of course in Prohibitionland it can be expensive rolling neat green.

He's been to the shed since his first encounter and this time he left with a Ti VC.
I gave him my first torch with the flash light wind shield so it was less of a 'faff' and it offered him the option to take it out when he's mountain biking.

I get a couple of messages from him
"I've been smashed off mi mashed up mind all week, on an henry" and "I love it, the 'hit' in the morning is outstanding".

He's been in touch again as his friend is keen to convert and it'll be an M, even at the regular price it's worth every penny.

Last night sitting with a friend and i always give my friends the M and Omni for myself

So last night vaped from both with the same herb, i have not used an M since i got the Omni.

It's clearly a difference here.

Titanium tip - Heats up faster and somehow feels it warms more even and it extracts the herb perfect in 2 heats cycles and REALLY fast cool down after.

SS tip - Takes a few more seconds to heat compared to Ti, but i need 3 heat cycles to complete the herb and still a small small difference in extraction, a bit less then Ti. and feels forever before it cools down.

If you really want to visually see the extraction difference then have a look when vaping through glass.

One of my favorite vape accessories is the Vape Spittoon from Delta 3D Studios. It makes it really easy to empty your VapCap and it works with any stem style vape like a log/Solo/etc. Just put your stem up to the hole and blow out. No hassle or mess involved.

I made a couple knives myself... Not worth showing... But here are a couple mini tomahawks i made a few years ago that i call hex hawks... The bottom hex cutout works with 1/4" hex bits. The top cutout is mostly aesthetics but works on the right size bolts. 52100 heat treated by PHT to 60hrc. A novelty item But sharp as hell! They made an appearance in blade magazine and i sold over 70 of them... But i no longer make them.

I did. Yesterday. I had 5 VapCaps in different varieties with me to show them to my best friends.
And what happened? Five people will not get a birthday gift from me next time, because they already have it now.
I literally came from the party with no VapCap left. They were completely excited about that nice device and not willing to give it back, once they understood about the greatness. One must add that the VapCaps are not very known in my area.

Sigh. Time to order some new ones. Those were - fortunately - just "stock models" that one can re-order at any time.
But I am more than sure how five people out there will spend the rest of their weekend and they are probably very happy Yetis now!

Ordered an extra Ti tip. And 4 more sets of screens.

I have the old omni design with the old 7 fin tip and want to compare if there's any functional differences with the newer 5 fin tip.

Whichever i prefer I'll keep on my Omni and use the extra Ti tip on the M.


Also ordered an SLX small 4 piece grinder. Been using the same cheap grinder for over 5 years now and it's finally time to retire that thing. Hoping this SLX is worth the price. If it last as long as the cheap one I'll be happy.

Lol, happy to hear you're still enjoying the Spittoon! I've also been using my OG gray spittoon daily. Can't tell you how many times I've accidentally knocked over my jar and spilled none of the ABV in the jar lol - talk about an unintended feature of the the spittoon

Hahaha! As one who was also gifted my current Vapcap, you have to imagine how much they appreciate it! I know I am extremely glad.
