Thanks for sharing @Kasish , thats okay then. I didnt like to think of you being in turmoil having to break from weed for some inconvenient or possibly legal reason. As it is, you have something to look forward to and feel good about. 30 days is no time really unless it is an agonizing time.

They will care only if your "wood" smell of bomb residue.

Kleen the condenser well, and you are good to fly with Santa.

BTW never yell "Hi, Jack!" To your friend Jack in the back when on a flight.

Or you could always argue at the flight boarding, that you were originally going to blow up the plane, until you started using your new vapcap, and it totally chilled you out. But if they tok it off you, you just dont know what might happen on the way back! Just an idea.

Because I cant wait until tonight when I get mine..

Does the ti tip fit in an enano or arizer air stem?

Don't got any nano, man (or ma'am).

None of my Air stems (2 big)<==> VC caps (2 small) but nice thought.

So whilst I've been waiting for my BF order to get over here to the other side of the planet, my friend Paul from VapeMate here in NZ hooked me up with one of their OG's to have a go with. They seem to be the only people who sell the VapCap here. This thing is sweet! Didn't really take much practice to get the hang of it after reading a lot of the pages on here first either. I like it!

Also - just got my email for my BF order (blackwood ti woody s) from Dynavap - 'your order is complete'

Just got it.

First thing took it apart and dipped the metal pieces in ISO... Rinsed...

Tried to adjust the screen to make the bowl smaller and the screen flew out making no sound d when it landed... Searched the floor... Found it!

Put a tiny bit in (less then the smallest bowl pack)

lit it, hit it, see ya later bye! Haha

This things going to be great, I don't see me using my FF2 as much!

I already feel warm from that Micro dose.

I can see why people dish out for the Omni and other varieties... Simple and effective.

Thanks @VapCap

Here's some Vapcap porn for your viewing pleasure on a boring Monday evening.

My regular microdose, approx 0.015 gm with the incredible efficient Vapcap sporting a custom Wenge stem on a Wenge DynastashER. This Vapcap is 3.5 inches long.
bkXXb9h.jpg

Another custom stem made from Merbau (Kwila) wood. It has a lovely grain. It tapers down to a narrow 6mm in width. The narrow stem amplifies the click. It is 4.75 inches long.

A carved Jade stem I got off eBay. The hole was too small for the Ti tip, so I ground it out with my Dremel. I took about a minute or two of patience. It is a whopping 6 inches long.

Each one is absolutely beautiful! How many vapcaps are in your collection? Do you still use them all, or are some retired? Do you display them in your home (I'll bet @phattpiggie could make a great display stand for them)?

So my new ti tip arrived 3 days ago, and I've had a bit of time to play with it, so thought I'd quickly give you guys my opinions on it. Unfortunately I've had a bit of a cold the last few days too, so I can't really give much of an opinion on the convection/taste side of things. I'm looking forward to getting work out of the way, and doing some serious science on thur once my smell and taste are back to normal.

My tip did not have any swarf/ rough edges that some other users have mentioned, it is pretty much flawless and beautiful. Also, I couldn't detect any machine oil residue/smell that other users have experienced, but I decided to give it a quick wash and ISO rinse anyway. The new tip looks and feels really nice, it's the best one so far IMO.

I like the new tip, although so far I would not say it's majorly different in function than my 2nd gen tip. The main difference that I noticed is that the new tip seems to retain heat longer than the old tip. I seem to get more draws per heatcycle with the new tip, it takes a bit longer to cool down, and there is a noticeably longer gap between the two cool-down clicks.

I'm sure il find that once my sense of smell/taste is back to normal I'll notice more of a convection taste with the new tip, but at the mo I can't taste anything, so can't give an honest opinion.

Also, I assume that my tip is the adjust-a-bowl version, as I can see the grooves on the inside of the bowl. I've only had a quick play with it once trying to unsuccessfully change the bowl size, and I almost bent the ccd (which I did with the ss CCD the first time I ever installed it- surely I'm not the only one who's done this?). I need to give this a good go as it would be nice to be able to make the bowl smaller when I want. Oh, that reminds me, the new tip 'seems' to have a deeper bowl... Il have to compare properly because it could just be me evaluating it wrong.

Anyway, I'm rambling and I'm not even high... I've been enjoying some thc-free days while vaping those 4%cbd hemp flowers from vapefiend- it's nice to be able to vape without getting trashed (sometimes ).

Peace

Glad to hear the machining issues are getting ironed out. Knew it wouldn't take George long. IMO all to be expected with new machinery, new in house cnc work (on TI no less!) and rushing to get out all of those BF orders.

DynaVap/George FTW!!! Most other vape manufacturers and vendors could learn a lot here.

My BF order should arrive in the next day for so. The tracking info shows that it has cleared customs and has been dispatched to its destination. I've been looking forward to trying out the new ti tips. Specifically, I wanted to sandwich a degummed hemp fiber filter between two CCD screens.

So, while waiting for my shiny green envelope, I tried the sandwich idea with a current tip and a couple of 8mm titanium screens.
RlSWATf.jpg

My first try was OK but the draw was very, very restricted. So, I tried again and the second time I made the flat disc of fiber much thinner and less tightly wound. This was much better. It still has a restricted draw but it's more like a hand rolled cigarette that's a bit too tightly packed.

I do love this idea!! The very smooth vapor with absolutely no particulates getting through, but the bowl stays clean and no bits of weed gets tangled up with the filter.

I think my package will arrive just before Xmas!!! Whoo whoo!!

I think this is my first post in this thread!
It's a popular thread and an exciting product range with many variants, so it seemed better to just read until I actually chose and bought one!
I'm becoming interested in one of the wood, carbon, or Omni models for a "decent vape purchase" in future.
But now the OG has gone worldwide I was able to order one as a present for a relative earlier, her first vape, and one for myself!! (So I can try learn the craft to help her get to grips) Plus I get to own my first VapCap soon!! First USA vape for me too:tup:

So, do these come with any instructions?
Are people hitting the various letters of Dynavap with a torch until sweet spot found?
Or zig zagging torch while spinning? Or both!?
And avoiding the end cap, depending on the heat source?

Any time I tried to torch clean a screen I blackened/blued the shit outta it, so I assume some discoloration or blackening of these tips is expected or some bit cleanable?
She might use a single torch first, and I might use an ignition-less pencil soldering torch that I have.
But I have a few twin straight jet ones arriving after, as I've read about those in the "favorite vapcap torch thread".
The torch thread was a great idea. It allows some useful info to filter from this thread, and there are some good tips there already.
It probably made it a little less intimidating for me to learn a bit more and take the plunge on the OGs!
Thanks everybody here!

A question, @Squiby is the air path on your stems direct draw from VapCap to stem end, or does it follow the customary VapCap path?

If not, where is the air inlet for the draw....:hmm:

The three non-Dynavap stems I posted do not have condensers or air intake holes. All the air passes between the heated cap and the tip, then down through the chamber and stem. It is just like mouthpulling with the carb covered on a Dynavap stem and condenser.

How many vapcaps are in your collection? Do you still use them all, or are some retired? Do you display them in your home

That's hard to tell. I have lots of stems and bodies, but not enough pieces to make them all complete units. Several are wrapped up and going away to their forever homes this Sunday. I am taking pictures of them all so I can post them here or refer to them later.

I have my favorites all over the place, from the bedroom to the living areas, the bathroom and garage. It's fun to switch up the bodies every so often and "pouff" like magic stoner LEGO, I've got new and interesting Vapcaps. Thank GOD that my VAS is cured for other Vapes and I only covet Vapcaps and accessories now.

So, do these come with any instructions?

Yes, they do. There are also instructions listed on the Dynavap website. You can find the instruction link on the individual Vapcap pages. Here it is here.

https://www.dynavap.com/use-instructions

Are people hitting the various letters of Dynavap with a torch until sweet spot found?

Yes. There are different techniques for heating the cap, preferred lighters, flame length etc.

My current favorite approach is to use a quad lighter with a short 1 inch jet length. I start out heating the bottom half of the cap and I move to the up with the next cycles. I always respect the click. No zig zagging of the flame over the cap is required with multiple jets because of the wider flame.

Or zig zagging torch while spinning? Or both!?
And avoiding the end cap, depending on the heat source?

With a single jet lighter, I heat the bottom of the cap on the first cycle. I twirl the VC in my left hand as I zig zag the flame over the bottom half of the cap with my right hand. The second cycle I zig zag over the noddle of the cap and then the top half of the cap for the last cycle. I always go through three heating cycles and my loads are small. I just tear a big off a flower and pop it in the chamber. I never grind.

So I'm looking to expand my Vapcap collection. My current setup is a beautiful Burl XLS. What I'm hoping to purchase a Omni Vong and a Dynastash. Possibly a Carbon body or maybe even splurge for a spare Ti Carbon S. I remember a few pages back, a double barrel. Is it possible for a custom Dynastash XL/ER that can fit the Burl XLS and OmniVong? I'm hoping to carry both along with a small amount of green in a grab n go kinda kit.

@Squiby those new wooden stems look great. Please pass on my kind words to the turner.
I love the sleek lines the condenser free bodies give and I can cope with the small inconvenience of cleaning reclaim from the wood. Although I may have found some smaller diameter tube to help with this.
I looked at the jade stems but found the agate a bit closer to home. Looks like I'll be ordering some in the future

Put me down as the first visitor to the Canadian Vapcap Museum when you open.

A double garage dynastash with one magnet and two or three stash boxes that can take about 0.5gm each??? YES PLEASE! :)

Edit: a little extra width for the cause is perfectly acceptable. Anyone know How much dry bud can fit in the ER container?

That's why I used a small Teak adapter for my Agate, I put a tiny carb in the wood.
As I've found with my older 7 fin and the Gold and Stone one a carb, for me, wasn't necessary.
Slow and steady and plenty of water and a bit of detergent should help if you do any more.
You need to take your time and let the tool do the work, any force and it will break.
I gifted mine but I can see more being bought as they really are pretty and very tactile.

Thanks for the tips! I'm sure I was my impatience. I did the Jade one first and was very gentle. I just let it slowly grind away. When I attempted the Agate I was more aggressive in applying pressure. I will lay off next time and make sure I use a water and detergent lubricant.

Too bad I broke this one. It was pretty.

Does anyone know of a UK stockist of dynacap? I'm after a titanium omnicap and found one at vapepiranha but they are a bit expensive and not able to find a phone number for them.

Also are there any spares I should pick up at the same time?
