Good to know. What makes it glow then?

Especially if we get to pick our super powers.
Speaking of picking, I meant to ask this before and forgot. Is DV back to laser etching caps? That was a cool thing that went away with a promise of returning and I was wondering if it is happening quietly or just not happening yet.
It sounds like the etched caps may have become a Dynavap collector's item.I’ve asked them, they’ve always given me no reason to hope that they’ll ever do it again, and if that sounds vague....
Man, I am really feeling for our German brethren! I didn't realise German customs was so harsh against vaporizers or is it more of a general bureaucracy thing? I can be patient but 21 day wait when you know it's already in-country is brutally excessive IMO. You have my sympathy; that's just not right!
Forgot to say, the strontium is really pretty with the wood you chose for this vong @Winegums
You seem to always be adding to your skill sets, trying something new and I think that's cool. I enjoy seeing what you're getting up to so keep the updates and wood porn coming!
When you do make a vong that imparts superpowers, please hit me up.
Thanks! I spend a lot of time watching and researching before I do things so that I know what I'm getting myself into. It makes it easier when I actually start to the project to have a map of where I want to go and what to do at each step. Working with new and different materials all the time is a challenge that yields as much failure as success, (I had a resin leak on one of the molds and it made a MESS).
I realized last year that my calling in life is to make beautiful functional items. I've done a lot of traditional art in the past but it's plain old art at the end of the day. The interaction with it is simply to stare and admire which doesn't engage me enough. I want to touch the art, I want it to be an item that does something. I want to be using it and appreciating the beauty at the same time. I honestly didn't think this is what I would be doing when I grew up but I'm happy that I have found inner peace being a creator/maker/artisan.
Marrying art and function is why I find myself exploring new things all the time. There's so many techniques and materials that I still want to try. Things like metal casting, pottery, pattern welding, glass blowing, and more. There's even some that haven't even been made yet or I've only theorized with some engineers (when I have millions for R&D ).
The next thing on the horizon is wood stabilizing with resin and dye. I have a pile of wood with cracks, voids and soft spots that I want to use. I've got to track down a vacuum chamber in the future.
For the sake of wood porn, here's another shot of my knife and 14/18mm XL omni VonG.
The knife is made from O1 tool steel, B8 bronze, Cocobolo and Maple. The VonG is made from Blackwood, B20 bronze and Birch Burl.
Am, however looking hopefully towards the future.
You Sir are churning out some drool worthy pieces. Your omni is awesome and the handle on that knife is just jaw dropping.
That knife handle is a gorgeous as your VC bodies and stems! I'm looking forward to getting the one I just purchased in your Etsy store. For the sake of wood porn, here's another shot of my knife and 14/18mm XL omni VonG.

if you're going to push your condenser into a new Ti-tip like you mention.... You'll probably need a Ti-condenser too.
The SS condenser of the M is a touch thicker than the Ti condenser.
The SS condenser will barely fit into the Ti-Tip, if at all.
I'm not wrong..I just tried this with 2 of my Omnis and 2 of my M's. All were interchangeable. The SS and Ti tips all fit on all bodies. They are the older Omnis, so maybe that explains why.
George and I did a video explaining the Non Modular components a while back...
Maybe just charge a little more for the m with deeper grooves? Like hey the m is now 60 bucks or whatever, less draws restrictionsIve been playing with the TI tip for a while, but now that Ive become more comfortable using these things, I decided to give my SS tip some attention and was pleasantly surprised. I found that the SS tip is able to deliver denser, cloudier hits with a longer inhale period. The only real drawback is the smaller airpath which gives it significantly more air restriction than the TI tip. The restriction is enough to be sort of undesirable to me, but when hooked up to my water pipe its much easier to extract. The SS tip could really use some deeper air grooves to improve air flow though--I dont think such a thing should be a premium and limited to the TI tip.
