Considering the fact that I'm planning to live up to being -at least-250 years old ,
(:mental:.... seriously,I mean it . I would take it as a personal failure ,if otherwise .Do not laugh ,please ..:suspicious:)
it seemed quite normal to get some X-/O- rings for my VapCaps ,
since those along with the caps are the only things that would probably need to be replaced at some point ,sooner or later.

Spare caps ,I've got few already from Dynavap .
As also some sets of X- and O- rings .
Still ,I wanted much more of the latter ( for me and some close friends of mine ,also fellow Vapcapers ).
But the retail price at Dynavap is kinda discouraging for plenty of pieces .
I had to get them from elsewhere.
( greek economy ...eh ...does not even exist ..Same goes with money...Poor @$$ greek myself )

So I've placed an order at Oringsandmore.com
And today ( WOW !,that was fast ! ) i've got in my hands the goods.

Now,to the point.
While the x-rings (BunaN aka Nitrile ) are black ...
Well the Viton O-rings have an awesome chocolate-brown color !

Sure, they do not match that good with Titanium stems (except those that are anodised to a bronze color, maybe ),but those of you that have, love and use wooden stems ,maybe should consider trying them
(except maybe with an African Blackwood stem .At this case the black O-rings ,match better ).

Cheers.

@WoodVillain I had a thought on the combusting/vaping smell thing you mentioned a while back.
As we know when you smoke a j it burns from one end to the other meaning every toke will be 'fresh' weed and 'fresh' terps, if I combust in my VC it's usually the last toke by which time all the terps have been inhaled leaving just the ABV.
Reminds me of when you burn garden waste.

Micro dosing in the M.
Here's a picture of a thin layer of some nice tasty King Tut.

And here's how it went using the Skeletor, please excuse the hair dryer going in the back ground I left the audio on so you can hear the click.

@Arielle.Dynavap a couple of questions
Is there a relocation allowance, will I be able to listen to Hip Hop, cuss and vape whilst at work, how far away is the nearest reputable butchers?
I booked my space for a trailer out in the yard with George months ago so that bits all good just want to make sure I can recreate the shed experience in WI.

After using Ti tip for few days, I really want to modify my SS tip to see if any improvement to the air flow. So I go to the hardwear shop and get a pack of diamond files for usd$5.
gKAywOp.jpg

It's hand held and pretty small, I use the triangle shape file to create a tiny bite at the end of the groove, then use the round shape file to make it bigger and smooth, its much easy than i expected, just few minutes its done.

Its really easy, but the air flow improvement seems not obvious, may be its more related to the depth of the spiral groove surround the chamber.

@Summer All my stems come with full length SS condensers.
The segmented ones are made like this
nySancE.jpg

The Blackwood ends are threaded and the whole thing gets screwed together and turned down.
JLDOlyd.jpg

I use 5mm tube with a 0.5mm wall thickness, standard DV tube is 5mm with a 0.25mm wall.
The 0.5mm tube gives me enough meat to put the thread on.

My longer stems have a 4mm tube with 0.3mm wall. My very first 150mm Padauk stem didn't have a condenser and once it got used a bit I realised cleaning was a PITA and I've been fitted tubes inside everything since.

I took that same round file to the spiral grooves also, do one at a time, mark them somewhow so you know which ones you have done. I guarentee you'll drop the tip, or lose count of what groove you were on.

File a little bit, rinse and test often, you dont want to file the grooves too much, it can make the vapor hotter, much quicker (in my experience)

Oh I would love to get one of his induction heaters! But I am starting back with an Omni XL once I get another paycheck under my belt.

Question to the experts... If I get an Omni XL, is there a Nonavong XL body I can fit to it for use with my glassware? If not I am sure I can make a homebrew method to make it work with my glass, but I'd love to be able to swap out the body for home use. It's just a matter of buying an XL Nonavong body, yes?

The Vong solution for the XL models is a "stem", while a Vong "body" is for regular length models/condensers.

Ahh, so I have to swap out the stem as well as the body. Ok, I will plan accordingly when I get ready to order.

Stems and bodies are not interchangeable on Omnis unless you buy a different length Omni condenser to accommodate a different length midsection.

Vapcap midsections come in two lengths; 45mm midsections are called bodies and 62mm midsections are called stems.

If you get an Omni XL it will come with a 62mm stem midsection. You can swap any other stem with your stock Omni XL stem.

If you get a regular Omni it will come with a 45mm body midsection. You can swap any other body with your stock Omni body.

Nice touch! With condensers! All this time I am saying to myself WTF no condensers in PP's otherwise
Beautiful-full creations?:hmm: Now they parallel the VapCap dynaflow.... a little physics goes a long way a teeny carburetor mabbe

I worked on a fifth case prototype this week that has individual compartments for everything, but I'm not so sure it's the best way forward. When compared to my other prototype it's less flexible with regards to lighter choice and storage space, but also is stronger and provides the test tube more protection. I think I still have some more head scratching to do. :hmm:

that design is killer...if you ever need some real world testers...they won't be hard to find. :brow:

yea...a lighter slot is a nice ideal...but not necessary, especially because there is alot of lighter size variance....what would be dope would be to build a simple butane lighter into the case  and you could just use the space to house a large tank!

I assume these will fit XL DV's?

That might be a bit more complex than I want to go with these. I think I'll stick to the more flexible interior space for this run of XL cases I'm making.

Yes, these will fit XL size Vapcaps.

I learned how to perform a mouthpull from @natural farmer. This was a total game changer for me. Toking vapor straight into my lungs is simply too harsh for me and my lungs and my throat. Instead of the direct draw method try a mouthpull.

With your finger on the air port or carb pull vapor into your mouth as if you were puffing on a cigar or sucking on a straw. Once you have finished your draw, remove your finger from the carb and inhale clean cool air along with the vapor. This will be the coolest smoothest vapor you have ever experienced. Total game changer.

Now that I've completely eliminated irritation, I just want to be high all the time. No harm, no foul.

Holy. Shit. I tried @natural farmer's instruction and it did not work out for me. I still had to cough and I really dislike those irritations.

But I did not give up and today, I mastered the technique. This is a total game changer indeed.
The smoothest, cloudiest, tastiest and non-irritating tokes of vapor that I have ever had. Absolutely wonderful! But I must add - it does not work for me the same way. I also take a mouthful of vapor (with the carb hole closed/covered) while pulling medium strong for 2-5secs. and then open my mouth to inhale the collected vapor together with lots of fresh air. Just releasing the carb hole alone did still make me cough. I get 1-2 good "puffs" like this per heat cycle (Ti tip).

And believe me - I really mastered it. I was able to reproduce it with 5 VapCap fillings and I enjoy it so much that I will probably be the most baked yeti in on earth this evening! :)

Some like it xtra-long (XL) .
:brow:
Others might prefer it as is .
But few have good reasons to like it short .
:D

89 mm total length . Xtra-short .Fits in any average pocket wallet.

@Winegums, could you at some point retake this pic exactly as shown, but without the top piece on so I/we could get a better idea of what the interior spacing looks like? Thank you.
