3-4 heat cycles. You can get 2-3 pulls off one heat cycle. Of course, that depends on draw style and whatnot. And you get like 4 hits from that, right? Seems very efficient.
I have exhausted my load faster on occasion, but am unsure what the conditions were that led to those results; I'll try to experiment more in that arena tomorrow. Is it possible to exhaust your load in fewer cycles?
I usually do two heat cycles, personally. Sometimes a third. I feel it's usually pretty much exhausted in two cycles. If you heat slightly past the click, you'll roast it quicker, or so it seems. Is it possible to exhaust your load in fewer cycles?

I'm always done in 2 heat cycles wether I hit it dry or through a water piece. Through a water piece I get 2 big rips and dry I get 2-3 hits off of each heat up. For me it's the perfect camping vape.Is it possible to exhaust your load in fewer cycles?
I agree that going past the click is unnecessary and should only be done on the first heat cycle. The glass tube retains heat and it becomes cumulitive. Sticking with the clicks, the ABV comes out quite browned with two consecutive heat cycles. Damn near black with three.I get one long rip with the hole covered off each heat cycle. This gives good flavor the first 2 hits with clouds starting by the second, if not the first cycle. I packed an even more full bowl today, 0.09g -- No issues.
However... I also tried the extra second of heating beyond the click to see if it sped up my extraction. I still felt like I used it the same number of hits (nothing gained for me, in terms of faster use), but I actually combusted on the last hit. Still can't get the taste out of my mouthpiece. I find sticking with the click as my guide gives consistent and functionally similar results to the extra second heating, while hedging your bets if you like to get a super dark ABV, like me. I would only recommend going the extra second beyond the click on the first hit or 2, for those who insist on doing it.
I'm excited too! I can't wait to place an order for another apocalypse vape! It's always good to have spare vapes which can use any heatsource available.I am really really really lusting for a pocketable vape that will do the trick for me and this really seems like the guy. I know there is a chance that a beta of another portable may get to me before this one does (cause I'm so late to the party I haven't even ordered yet), but I want this anyway.
Patience, little one...
Takes me 3-5 cycles with a reasonable load (0.05-0.09) -- I'm coming to the party as a habitual buster with basically only bong and bubbler in the mix (Still corner my first hit or two, but I'm no sipper). I will try smaller loads this week, to see if those exhaust faster.I agree that going past the click is unnecessary and should only be done on the first heat cycle. Well, no, sadly the site has been in abeyance while George worked out another shopping cart after PayPal abandoned him. But it should be all back up for orders soon...I think you can pre-order it on the website, I do it in August..although shipping was planned for september and I didn't receive anything, package or e-mail...but I understood it's a small company so I can wait more...
I use the medium nearly universal song adapter from @Ratchett.Everyone who is using this through water how are you doing it?
I just stick the rubber mouthpiece end into a 14mm joint.Everyone who is using this through water how are you doing it?
