I started the year ordering a Ti Woody for a heavy smoker friend to fuck combustion, upgrading my gf to a Ti Glassy after fucking combustion by the end of the year with the help of an OG, upgraded the tip of my Omnivap to one of the new ones and ordered custom caps for the 3 of us.
Dave - I have found just the opposite. That is, my glass OGs have better airflow than my Ti tipped VC until I got the very latest in-house made tip and now my Ti draw resistance is reasonably equal to my OG.So I've got an og but all this talk of airflow has my ears pricked. I love the form of the vapcap, I love the level of extraction and I bloody love their company ethos and the way George operates his business. One thing I hate is how restrictive the flow on my og is.
I understand the feathering of the carb, I've replaced the ceramic screen with a ss one and I keep it clean. Mouth pulling with a closed carb is great vapour but anything less doesn't quite cut it for me.
So, with all these new developments is there a version with less restriction without compromising clouds?
And if I took my og condenser and made the opening a bit wider would it negatively effect performance?
Thanks team vapcap. And a special thanks to @VapCap for all the help and generally being a cool guy
You either need to buy a Ti tipped VonG bodied Vapcap, or if you already have a Ti Tip, wood mouthpiece and regular condenser or Omnivap you can just buy a VonG body.
There are only two Ti Vapcap models that will fit your 18mm bubbler; a Ti VonG S Fat which has an 18mm VonG body and a wood mp. Or a OmniVonG with an 18mm fat body.
The stock body choices are Cocobolo, Blackwood, Burl and Black and Whilte Ebony.
I have a couple Ti VonG S Skinny Vapcaps with the 14mm VonG body. They are tiny and fit comfortably in a pocket. The 18mm would be slightly more bulky but it would still be a tiny device that would fit easily in a closed fist.
Note that the Dynastash only accommodates a Vapcap with a maximum girth of 14mm. The 18mm VonGs won't fit.
They could be catching up from being closed on the stat New Years holidays. George @VapCap also mentioned in a previous post that there have been some challenges with messages getting through their new website contact page. He may see this post with the callout. Don't worry, George Will fix you up properly.
That's a hell of a start for the new year!
Congratulations on being combustion-free!!
And happy new year too!!

I don't mouth to lung pull. I pull straight to the lungs and, while its a restricted draw, I don't find it to be too bad and I get GIANT clouds of vapor and that's what I'm looking for.
Please do not take offense, but we have many MMJ patients on this board (including me) so its not out of the realm of possibility, but do you have any sort of pulmonary disease that impacts your ability to draw hard on a VC?
Our own beloved Director of DynaVap Marketing (acting), @Squiby, has indicated that she has very bad asthma and breathing issues so she does use mouth to lung and seems to be very successful at it. Perhaps that's the way forward for you.
P.S. Squibs....just joking about the Dir of Mkt....but you really should have that title! You are the bomb at it.
I ahve both OG glass condenser types...the original one that looks a bit like an eye dropper...that is, its tapered at the end, and the current ones which are more of a straight tube. Frankly, I don't see a difference in draw resistance between them. Thanks for the reply. although not what I wanted to hear. I don't have any respiratory problems it's just a preference thing. all the talk of grooves and other things got my hopes up that my one qualm with the vapcap was being addressed. It's an amazing device granted and I do use it I just find that restriction too much. I got rid of the solo and air for the same reason. Anyone else wish to chime in? Haven't the condensers been changed since I got mine? (It's an
E2a on their site the condensers look just like a straight tube, is they're just a small hole or are they more open?

I got huge hits - but I was only getting 1 per heat cycle. I got 3-4 heat cycles from a
mid-position (new tip) screen (.06g load), and the ABV was black, fine - almost like what would come out
of a combustion device - way darker than my mighty's ABV
I tried the 'mouthpull', but it seemed to generate too much vapor: the vapor was escaping, like when one
puffs on a pipe to get it all fired up
I'm thinking I kind of had it in 'hyperdrive' mode by using a closed carb, and that I'll get more hits per heat cycle, and better flavor, if I leave the carb open.
You get more for less lung stress with the VC. But I do think it would be nice with less restriction.
Do you pop it out and crush it before your last draws, or do you just get what you can out of the nug? I'm never satisfied I got everything if I never crush it and I am into getting all I can. I tend to vape to dark brown in all my vapes.I don't grind, but rather just pop in a nug.
This makes me think that you may be mouthpulling too hard and could benefit from vaping at a slightly lower bowl temperature.
How many jets are you using? Try heating a bit higher on the cap. This will give you a cooler bowl temperature.
Your hits, especially with the new tips should be flavorful on all three cycles, less so during that third cycle.
I start my first cycle heating the cap bottom, towards the mp end. The second cycle has the heat centered around the middle of the cap and the third, near the top. My ABV is consistently a medium toast color. I don't grind, but rather just pop in a nug.

You may be able to open your airflow a bit by adjusting your condenser position. Remove your condenser and slide it back into the body, but do not push it in all the way flush with the end of the body. This should give you a less restricted airpath.
I usually end up with issues from tight restriction. It's not that bad in my case.
I have an AA and FF2 and both have given me issues when used as daily divers.
I tend to use my VC without touching the carb...
I think that with the way I vape with the VC, like a joint, the draw restriction isn't as detrimental to my lungs as it would be from and AA or FF2. You get more for less lung stress with the VC. But I do think it would be nice with less restriction.
@davesmith
You are a glass blower? You should try making a stem with a bigger carb and experiment! I might do this when I get home today with diamond Dremel tip... I'll probably end up breaking it though.....
My ABV is used again to infuse coconut oil for healing slaves etc. It's like having the best of both worlds.
LOL Just can't keep them dang slaves healthy anymore! LOLI sure hope that was a typo...
