So someone requested to return a Bolle Stem. I dont have any issues with people returning things they dont want or like or that dont work for them. I have a 100% money back philosophy.

I just thought I would share this persons reason.

"This item was sold to be compatible with vapcap. Vapcap requires a carb inlet hole to work with. Without it, this product is useless with vapcap. I am extremely disappoint and surprised that the seller would not know this!"

I cant believe that we have been doing this all wrong the whole time! I never realized that all my carbless stems actually dont work. @phattpiggie did you know this? I would like to return my Twist stem since it doesnt have a carb and wont work with the Vapcap ;)

Guess I've been using it all wrong this last few years. Out of my vapcap collection I may only have 5-6 stems with an air port, guess I'll have to throw out the other 2 dozen stems:lol:. You're smarter to issue the refund, not worth the hassle of trying to convince someone like that.

Honestly, when I ordered my first stem from you, I was worried that it would come with a carb hole, because I didn't want one...and I wasn't convinced that you had clearly stated that there was no carb hole.

If mine had arrived with a carb hole, it wouldn't get much use. I prefer no carb hole on my custom stems!

Based on perceived advantage I have no reason to buy a dynacoil.
I consume very little oil, don't fancy it much tbh.
Bubble hash is my concentrate of choice.

I expect if one uses oil regularly, in quantities large the I use, the dynacoil may hit the spot.
I would want a dedicated tip for sure.

The sandwich works well for my needs, YMMV.

Just my experience with the coil...

I use a lot of concentrate and I have to say, I really wasn't happy with the Dynacoil. For the same reason I don't like vape pens for concentrate that use coil heaters. It invariably begins to just taste like burnt concentrate very quickly. You might get one or two tasty, first hits, then for the next 20 hits (because concentrate lasts a long time) it just tastes burnt. The Dynacoil was like that X10, it almost never wasn't a cakey, mess of oil. Some will say I used too much material, I suppose maybe, but I can't put less than the head of pin in there. Some may say I heated to aggressively, that may be more true, but I like a good, strong hit. So anyway, I now have an M that I use only for concentrate and when I do I sandwich it. It's much better if you ask me! Again, just my opinion and it's not exclusive to the Dynacoil, this problem is inherent for a lot of concentrate devices.

I haven’t been around FC for a couple years. I assume this thread covers all DynaVap products. I know this thread moves faster than I can, so I probably won’t even try to keep up with it after I post.

Anyway, after I ran over my OG VapCap with my power chair a couple weeks ago, I suddenly felt desperate to have another one. So I ordered an OmniVap right away.

I also made a couple videos right away. Here they are. They’re not supposed to be tutorials or anything, but there’s probably something useful to just about everyone.

Welcome back fellow VapCap enthusiast :) Glad to see it's working well for you.

If I remember, the Robusto comes with a carb hole and the Tradesman without. I have the Robusto and love it, even with its hole. I don't mind the vaping experience, feathering it at the end, but keeping track of your hole is a pain in the ass sometimes :brow: If it breaks, I'll probably try a Tradesman.

Never liked my dynacoil. After the first hit all the others tasted like burnt pencils. That is, unless you clean it spotless, which is an undertaking in itself. Trying to clear a DC of all reclaim is like trying to rid all the rats from the sewers of Paris.

You can't just burn it off with a torch?

I was iffy on torching it. Whenever I torch metals to glowing, like screens and such, I think it changes it structurally and they don't quite look the same. Still, you'd need to remove it, blast it, and then clear out the ash after each session to keep it tasting good.

In my experience you don't have to go to glowing.

I get like 1-3 good hits before all the concentrate is completely vaporized and the coil is clean with only a little bit of sticky residue. I find the dynacoil to be one the best tasting concentrate consumption devices I've used. I bought it as a novelty just to see wtf it was about, but for real it works great and the taste is phenomenal. Sounds like you may be over packing and under heating if you are getting so many hits. Or you may unfortunately just have low grade concentrate that's filled with residual plant matter and other crap that doesn't vaporize and instead turns to carbon and gunk depsosits. That's nothing a dynacoil can fix as it'll be an issue on a quartz banger as well.

Sorry it doesn't work for ya as well as I find it to work. I'm honestly so impressed with it. I've been dabbing daily for at least 5 years now, typically with a quartz banger and very low temp so there's some reference for my "experience" with concentrates. I'm the sort of the guy that always brings my rig, torch, q-tips.. the whole kit with me whenever I got somewhere as I hate to compromise my experience, so this little fucker is a welcome addition for sure as it actually fulfills my needs without my entire rig setup. It's not 100% fulfillment, but it covers a good 75% of what the rig experience does for me with much less hassle. Fits the niche I need.

Ash?? Uh... something not right. This is a vaporizing device and clean concentrate should leave very little residue.

oh, and anyone struggling to clean the dynacoil.. just soak it in warm iso, rinse with water, and heat to clean excess moisture. Simple. That's kinda how it works with any cannabis resin coated material. If you're lazy buy some d-limonene it will melt the cannabis residue as it's a liquid hjydrocarbon and also a terpene. A little goes a very long way, but then you'll still need to do a good iso and water rinse as the d-limonene leaves an oily residue.

Can you elaborate your packing technique or amount, tbh your the first post raving about the dynacoil. Most others are like it works but meh, and I have 2 coils deciding if I wanna try them or sell them

Sure, I'll do my best. I'm also surprised that I seem to be the only person who has any luck with the dynacoil lol

Here is a photo of my typical pack. I just put as much concentrate as needed to fill the entire diameter of the dynacoil, and then use a finger to push it down into the coil a bit. I'm not using rock solid shatter or anything, this photo is of CRC wax that is pretty sugary and soft.

Then I use a single flame torch lighter(Eagle brand if it matters) and do the typical spin and heat. I don't really focus on the top of bottom of the cap, I just spin the cap and keep moving the flame vertically so ideally heat is being dispersed evenly. Wait for the click, and heat a second or two past. I feel I can go much further with heating past the click with concentrates and never even come close to risking combusting, I dunno how anyone is doing that.

The next photo shows the dynacoil after getting three good hits from that pack. You can see there is still some residue on the bottom of the dynacoil but not much.

Take My Money Dammit!

Oops, forgot to include my OG and 20M. Anyway I finally have use again for my Omnivap. It will be just for concentrates. I just (finally) got a dynacoil. I like it much better than sandwiching concentrates.

Since getting an IH I am pretty certain I’m going to sell off my battery vapes. I’m just waiting for one of the IH’s I’m on a waiting list for. While the Alpine works great I just don’t trust it for the long run.
