Hmm, maybe giver a go again when she's clean ?

I'm standing by my word still :ko:, maybe your torch runs hotter than mine. So many aspects to take into consideration while heating this thing, it's kinda awesome. :sherlock::hmm::rockon:

For context though, I'm basically hitting it with the light blue flame, so particularly the hottest part and pull it off right as it clicks for the second time.

I raaaaaarely combust when I'm indoors for some reason. I find that's probably because I can't really see the flame when I'm lighting it outside so you can overheat or underheat all the time and that's when I typically fuck up. Or when you zone out and completely miss the click then think it's gonna do it till the whole things smokin' in your hand, fuck I hate that :smug:.:spliff:

Well this was something else. Right before I lit this one up. First time today too, I tried wiggling the tip.the new o-rings I had put on it were rather snug, too snug actually . I couldnt even get it off. Thought I'd torch it once it loosen off. Few seconds after the click it pretty much exploded tip falling on my lap. I hurried like hell to slap it on my dynastash , managed not to burn myself.

So yeah, I bet if was the stress of the o-rings that caused it to pop. It was the older tip too so probably not optimal.

Thanks @herbalist33, I'll keep an eye out for the postman tomorrow.

Had a few omni bucket bongs earlier on, with my thumb on the carb I get the cooldown click by the time I've pulled the bottle all the way up.

I need to make a nicer looking/ more stable bucket than 1.75 and 1.5L coke bottles with a chunk of silicone hose in the cap, mates with the mouthpiece of the omni nicely.

Don't have a 14-18mm (or is it the the other way round?) reducer yet so I'm using the fatty mp pressed against the EQ all glass whip adapter with my bubbler

Omg, omg, omg. Ebony and Ivory, in harmony.

That's my next short body, gotta be.

Whoever have these pieces are freaking lucky. Are any of these available? @VapCap

I've been eyeing up the black and white ebony for a while too, told myself I'd at least wait til my omnivap was in my hands first, hopefully I'll be one of the lucky ones but if I'm too late theres always next time

Damnit... I jinxed myself last night. I've stayed away from this thread for a month. Logged on yesterday and started drooling over all the beautiful wood. Went to dynavap website and added items to the cart. Just wanted cost info so I could save up. Woke up this morning, somehow my OG cracked and is nonusable. $$ is tight right now. Plus I'm trying to stockpile some nicotine before the gov't shuts it down. Not a good time for my herbal accessories to crap out on me.
My wallet tells me I should just get the replacement body for the OG. However my VAS disorder is telling me to get the Ti woody. I'm really confused with all the options and pictures from here compared to whats on the website.

May not work for you, but here's what worked for me. Instead of stocking up on nic, sell your ecig gear. Buy a woody. Then, you can stop giving a fuck about the fda, and fund your new vape.

I'm sure George will cover the OG body if you ask, you'll probably just pay for shipping. The ti tipped versions are definitely worth the upgrade

I have a hearing problem, so I'm working on getting around it. If you have any ideas, let me know.
I have an inclination to heat before the cooled-click. If you miss the cooled-click and heat, you combust. I've been using a heat-sink to reach cool-click. I just set it on the h-s, and it clicks quickly.
I was sitting on the tailgate of my truck with my omni. I couldn't hear the click so I stuck it to the bumper. It sucked the heat right out of the cap and it clicked.
I was thinking about using a flat 1/2" piece of steel about 2" x 3" and drill a hole the size of the vapcap in the middle about 3/8" deep. The hole will support the cap and cool it to "c-c" in short order. Put several holes to support more vapcaps. Better yet a hole the size of the magnet, where the magnet is flush with the surface of the steel plate. Just ordered a magnet. I'm working on it. Doc

Most of the time when I use the Vapcap it's just in my vaping area out in the garden/Patio where I have a small steel ammo box that holds my vapes, herbs and other vape related tools which I set the cap on to cool down so I can at least hear the (on mine) louder second cool down 'click'.

It works the same using the Dynastash/magnet if there's not to much background noise but the ammo box makes that click much louder.

Still it's often very difficult to hear the single click on heating mine up to tell me it's up to vaping temp (and that 'click' is very quiet) so I've kinda just gotten the timing down with the torch I use instead of relying on hearing the click, took some time and a few burnt loads to get used to but it works for me.

It is no wonder these things are taking the FC site by storm! They just work. Nothing complicated. In the long run, isn't that what a stoner wants? A simple, effective way of smoking a joint without smoking? This is it, thanks to George (and now Matt!).

I note again that if you are on the fence, jump off. If you can afford the Omni, get it. It is by far the easiest to clean and the easiest to put back together! It makes that simple session, even simpler. And, that adjustable mouthpiece! Wow. Nothing like it out there. GET OFF THE FENCE.

Question for those who have received his vapcap

It comes mounted on the box? It comes with invoice explicitly saying that it is a vaporizer?

I ask because my country did not allow vaporizers, sometimes the inspection passes unnoticed, if not come nothing explicit might not know what it is and I can get my hands on this wonder.

I am sure George can send an instrument without anything that identifies the purpose of the unit you order. Contact him!!!

the first few pages to this are confusing so I have to ask a few questions. what are the differences of the original vapcap and the pyrovape? they are both the same price and the site also offers a combo pack of the two but from reading it sounds like the pyro is for ecig juice? . also the main reason im interested in this vape is the clicking cap. is it very audible when it clicks like you can hear it good or can you feel the click holding the stem/body? also what temp is achieved by the click 300's-400 farenheight ? a lot to ask but ordering tomorrow so wondering which one to get, cant afford the wood one yet the strongest looking one metal and wood only I don't trust glass for durability. would like to buy like 10 caps but it says 2 per customer.

Clicks at different temps when you heat it in different ways, or places. Higher up or closer to the tip is cooler, lower down or close to the base is higher. I'm thinking maybe if someone asked George they could get a little more info on that. I'm sure there is a minimum and max temp that that thing clicks at. I would think George would know.

Having a ton of experience with vaping, I think I can estimate the temps a bit.. it can click really really low. Like I can set it in my EVO and let the tip just get heated by the evo heating element. If I just let it click the tip has only been heated and I will get almost nothing.. Like the lowest temp possible. When I light it lower down near the V in Dynavap, I get a huge hit and depending on how long after the click I light and exactly how far down it will be lower or higher temps..

Like i can bet that I'm going from around 380-410 on those hits and 410 is only when I'm cashing it in one heat cycle I bet. My abv comes out dark sometimes but is usually golen brown.. If it gets a little dark and I can assume I went even higher but that's a rare occasion now. A temp chart could be cool...

Was there a consensus on the induction coils used as a heating device being viable or...? I'd love a quick, flameless way to heat the VapCap and induction seems like it'd be a perfect match for the VC.

Also - My Omni alternates between carb completely closed to tight-roll airflow depending on the type of session I'm looking for. Due to this, I've been looking for a way to improve airflow or backpressure somewhat and have switched out the ceramic screen for an SS fine mesh screen. Airflow seems much improved and I don't have the sensation of pulling my eyes back into my skull when taking long drags with the carb closed. It just seems easier to pull vapor out of this sucker.

Try it, guys! :D
