Out of sight, out of mind. I received them in August and hid them in a drawer. I'd pull them out to look at them occasionally. Holiday anticipation is fun!

I wanted to be sure I had them for my first anniversary of fucking combustion and I didn't know how long they'd take to receive so I ordered early. The way things worked out, I decided to hold them until Christmas.
I like to buy gifts throughout the year and then hold onto them until needed. That way I don't get slammed spending lots of $$ all at the same time. It's a lesson my wife taught me.

Fun fact; ISO can cause slight corrosion or discoloration on 304 SS. ISO is almost unique in that regard and the only commonly encountered alcohol that has any effect. Benzyl and Diacetone alcohol are the others.

The vapcap is still pretty quick even if one takes their time. For me the results are generally better.
Space couldn't handle a vapcap.
No air and a floating mass of weed.
I must consider the gravity of this situation.

Anyway, I miss my old "Woody" stem, but I got a couple groovy long wooden stems from @TommyDee and now I totally want more wooden stems, but then that would require more tips and caps. Lol
I love seeing all the different custom stems. That's the main reason I come to this thread.

I ordered 7mm tubes and got 8mm OD. They are sending 7mm tubes now.
I used that stem for a short while and decided that a glass mouthpiece was not for me.
So I made the next one with a mouthpiece as well.
This is the same technique I am thinking of using on a Tinymight short stem.
These are permanently shrink-fit to the glass. Just insane!

Not only is that correct but @Pipes was the first to realize the potential and offer the first IH for vapcaps. Consequently changing many people's lives for the better.
If you have interest in such things between this forum and his forum you can see some of the fascinating journey from idea to product.
There are legions of happy users, it's a solid product.

Lots of Ebay sellers offer 12 OD x 8 ID boro pieces for quite cheap. That is what I made my first all glass bodies from.....10mm OD is fairly weak for using with a vapcap I think.

i have a @Pipes Portside Mini (portable) and The Caldron (desktop plugin) ... love them both ... i have found the portside mini heats a little more aggressively than the caldron ... can't go wrong with either one!
