Got the email from Dynavap about the next sale. Really liking the idea of the SlimStash. I’m not one to use the DV out and about so no need for the herb stash, just a nice place to hold Lucile.

I’m just wondering if there is a magnet and if so they look like it would topple over (maybe - doubt it). I still like the look though.

@futodugouts If you ever release one of your coffee dugouts in this size, I'll be throwing money at you

I forgot to add: if buying from Etsy be sure you read description carefully and only get “degummed” hemp. I’d stick to non-dyed, so look for cream to light brownish “natural” colors. And organic.

Also, this dude is making very cool looking stashes. Gotta get some pink and gold in there to match the new Ms

Nah. Been using this for a minute.

I can get hits almost as big as the Sup though (w/ better flavor). It and the VC are two of the best bang 4 ya buck vapes I've used that can hold their own against more $$$ vaporizers.

Who would of thunk it, but the Chiefs got the calls against the Pats Sunday...in Gillette! Looks like we might see each other again in the Divisional round.

So, @Morty, what’s your spin on butane vapes for the aficionados?

Thanks to @abracadaver and @Vitolo, I was able to gift a beautiful Omnivap to a cancer stricken family member. A great feeling, but I felt I needed to get up to speed on the latest, on the greatest, to be of further support for him(he’s not stopping on the click, combusting a bit). I've been away from the thread for a while so I restarted reading the thread. Wow, 1,900 pages and nearly 50,000 replies!! I should catch up to you guys in a couple of years. Not surprised, the simplicity, the innovation, the size, stealth, and style, it’s no wonder George has taken the industry by storm.

Having gifted the Omni, I’ve got the bug to do some Christmas Dynagifting. I’ve reached out to George already but knowing he’s the busiest man in the vape world, I thought I'd ask here as well. Are there any FC discount codes or have any Christmas deals on VapCap “M”s been announced.

Not a deal breaker, I’m looking at a bundle of 5 “M”s, a Dynacoil and some Dynawax so thought I’d check before plunging.

Thanks in advance!

Don't pack your bowl
I put an "S" shaped wire in the bottom of my '18 cap to allow easier draws Works a wonder. In '19M they added 'breathers'.
Hear ya on the fit of the cap. Got 2 '19M's and the caps just fell off. DV really should put an inspection in for this. Sad to hear they loosen again. That would void my '19M's from use. So far the squeeze is holding.
And I use my VC with fine ground top shelf herb (LB finish grind or better). That is hard to draw. And I don't their condenser or the stem...

Come check out the mods we're working on in the LB forum.
Your observations agree with mine - I wote to George numerous ties about the design flaw i the 2018-M andadded breathing nothtches with a dremel tool to solve the problem. I also changed to an omni stem and added a Pentel rubber grip as a carbeurator modulator.

I have never successfully reccommended a Vapcap to a friend. They all seem too clumsy to use this properly and unwilling to spend the money on an IH like these beautiful new ones seen on the channel.

The secret to the vapcaps success is, aside from vapor path, the ability to remove the load from the heat source instantly. The woodscense uses this, of course. Eventually a device will come along that has no thermal lag, an efficient heatsink and more. I think The Ghost comes close in an on-demand convection portable. And it requires no skills other than the darn crucibles which will drive you nuts handling.

The easiest way to solve the draw problem is bend the digger just enough to friction fit in the fins. The older tips that do not have breathing notches, just move the cap away from the load and the non-notched tip. It lets air in between the hot cap and the tip, you are not putting the clickers on the bowl opening and sealing it off. Doc

The next restriction is a bit of a science project. I load by drawing air to suck up very well ground herb. I want that large contact area with the bowl for conduction vape. I also want a good hot cap for the rest of the herb to keep up with the conducted heat through convection. It really is a dual mode device when you IH for sure and also for those that do massive torching to get clouds.

This is my reference and from that duffy unpacked hot zone, herb is expanding in physical space required. On the first draw it is packing itself until some vape is removed. Not only that but your draw is pulling in all this material being crowded by thermal expansion. You have to do a little work to draw that type of load. Half filled bowls help a lot, and the selectable bowl of the VC Ti also opens the vents a bit more in the small and mid positions. Regardless of how well it ends up breathing empty, which is the upper limit, the load will do much worse until things thin out a bit when vape is removed.

And there is the 'not so duffy!' camp which I can't speak to because it doesn't work for me. Too gentle and drawn out for a session. The convection/conduction ratio changes significantly due to better convection contact. A lot of good that does at 40F!

I have successfully recommended a VC to a litany of friends. Most have taken, more than as few have not. But I’m talking 30+ here...most have at least comprehended the unique qualities of this vape. I still get reports of friends that recently ordered the makers kit, another friend who is discovering the proto 2019 M plus a Ti tip that I gave him, and many others.

It's good that peeps can easily modify the air flow to their particular preference. Two methods shown just on this page. I think that speaks to how good the design is. Personally I have no issue with airflow provided by any stock M regardless of model year. I rarely use the airport open either. Different strokes, different folks.

This is not a design flaw, it was totally intentional. In fact the original M with a low temp cap may be the best of all... for some. For others not so much.

Carry on, I enjoy seeing how peeps endevor to make the Vapcap perfect for them. However please realise that not perfect for you does not equal flawed.

If it's restricted, you're pulling too hard, try pulling slowly, not overcome the limited amount of air that enters into the tips, and that air should be consonant with your pull,;)

Rattling is a good sign that your plates aren't stock up.;)

Definitely not a pull rate problem. Two times that restriction decreases; 1) The removed vape relaxes the heat expansion of the plant matter and 2) when the first cooling click occurs. This ladder one is still a mystery. However, I fully agree that a hard pull will pack the bowl more.

Looks really interesting :)

I've seen this in flashlights. If I'm not mistaken, there is a seam in these. Typically it is cast flat and rolled & seam welded. This is a test of quality and craftsmanship. I'm interested to see if this is the case for these really cool offerings.

when I watched this teasser, I thought of coin cladding...a process of plating collector coins in gold and platinum. It will be cool to hear more about these, tho I am sure they are out of my price range
