Thanks @Xclerk I knew there was something I was supposed to do but after hitting the Dynacoil, I forgot.

What about a vape cap size car lighter port remember the car lighter you push in then it popped out red hot what about a smaller version to pop a vapcap into and pop out when the click hits I'm not a electrical person but was wondering if this would work somehow
heating the flat part of the cap isn't recommended because the click mechanism is set on this part.. so if you can just heat the cap from its sides, it will work

Oh Snap! I need to look into that for a heat source. If the heater material is kosher, sure, why not. I'd say it is enough of a heat load to get a nice hit by using a glass 'funnel' and no cap. Just huff the heat straight to the herb. It doesn't even need to heat up the bowl. "Now where did I stash that old popcorn maker..."

So maybe just extend the contact point from a 12 v soxket to the sides of the walls to complete the circuit on the sides of the cap when inserted

I once use to use the car lighter on top of a deep bubbler bowl and would get insanely ripped I believe it's nichrome wire

Yea, but you'll have to make sure the plastic from the outside won't be melted or so. If you live in the US/CA (low shipping price purposes), I suggest you check some Induction Heater option (12V)
The one which sold by Pipes and received good reviews is 12V all the way, no need to voltage change

Car lighter connections were fused at 20 amps at one time. I'm pretty sure they still are. Most IH's require about 5-6 amps for a VC Since car batteries tend to run high, say 13.8V, the current requirement will increase a bit over a home unit.

Sneaky Pete is having their Black Friday sale and they had ten Apollo 2 induction heaters for $55 each that included an M that sold out in under a minute. No surprise there. Anyone get one?
