Has anyone with an ER stash had to replace the little silicone container, or found one they prefer? I just got my first, and didn’t realize that you basically have to take the container out to use it each time, which seems like a good amount of wear and tear on the thin silicone.

I lost my silicone container and never replaced it. Instead I use it as an attachment point no.

DVCS would be a good source/lead? for that.

Or you could print one yourself?

Has anyone tried using one of those pliable/thin magnet strip with a sticky underside to stick to a desk or elsewhere?

Do you think it's safe to set a hot VapCap on them, or is it going to just melt it

Doubt your cap will stick to it and will probably melt.

Two questions, for the assorted Dynavap hive mind.

#1 - Is the Hybrid M (SS body with Ti tip, via the Dynabuilder) worth the effort to get over the regular M, assuming I have to get that then shipped to the UK.

#2 - Does anyone know who the official UK vendors are?
If can afford to spend a few extra - I think it’s worth getting the XL. The extra length is very helpful with spinning your VC.
If you want, you could also pick up a standard condenser, so you can switch it to the more compact version for a change.

Lovingly refered to in THIS thread as Vapcap Acquisition Syndrome. And I love it when that pretty little head leads to a package arriving in my mailbox!

This is what VAS looks like from where I'm sitting....

I don't know, but my VAS may be spiraling out of control.....

Spectacular collection, @Squiby! Simply amazing! How do you choose which one to use?!?

Hi guys! Proud new Omnivap XL and Dynacoil owner, here! really stoked to have upgraded from the m and super surprised to see that it actually weighs less.

What should I do before using these for the first time? ISO wash? Anything else?
Definitely at least clean the vapor path (condenser and tip) with some iso q-tips. Often the inside has some black machining grime. I don’t soak new pieces, just q-tip till they come out clean. Some come clean from the company. Some are FILTHY.

Congrats on your newest addition!

And just like the other VCs I've purchased, this one did indeed come out with a large amount of grey/metal residue particularly in the body and vapor path. I'm soaking for 15 minutes and will rinse, wipe and soak again for good measure.

Why is DV shipping dirty, not ready to go "aromatherapy" devices. The idea of inhaling this stuff is scary tbh.

Yeah, they should all come clean or with a warning at least. My Shadow M did come with a warning to clean it before use, but I don’t think the others did. I hope they’ll be more consistent one way or the other.

After cleaning, I also like to heat it empty a couple of times and blow through it instead of inhaling to get rid of any remaining residue that’s easily vaporizable. Hopefully just iso at that point, but still not the best thing to breathe in. ;)

we can’t see your picture. Try using tiny pic or post image. There is a thread here called the sandbox where you can test posting images to make sure they are visible. Imgur doesn’t like us.

I could see it.
Just right click, select "copy image address", and paste that address into a new tab.
It literally only takes a second or two.

That's the fun of it all! I always have 6 in rotation; two in the living room, one by the tub, one for the workshop and two for on the go. Come cleaning day, different stems and bodies are switched out. The XL and longer ones stay at home and the Ms and bodies get to dress my Vapcaps for on the go. Wood and acrylic stay in the house and titanium come with me to do chores around the yard and workshop.

Well the good thing is that brain imaging studies dont lie and dont have any agenda other than performing the study (some people who get their hands on the results have an agenda, but the study itself is just a study) so there is no debate here..
If you really think brain imaging studies dont lie think again;
here's one striking example:
in 2001 MTV and Oprah Winfrey had an item about the disastrous effects of MDMA on the brain. Only, they were a bunch of government propaganda lies, soon after debunked by other scientists.
But the harm was already done as you can read here:

"Two years ago, then NIDA director Alan Leshner launched an anti-ecstasy campaign based on images from flawed PET-scan research conducted at Johns Hopkins. The campaign's trademark was a stylized image of two brain halves, side by side, with the darkened hemisphere marked "brain after ecstasy". Unfortunately for the public, NIDA has once again allowed politics and morality to trump their science. The US has spent millions of dollars pressing its "brain after ecstasy" images in widely-distributed postcards and online. Even months after NIDA learned of the data problems, and weeks after the Ricaurte and McCann PET scan studies were publicly discredited, NIDA is still pushing them as unadulterated 'fact' on their web sites (nida.nih.gov and clubdrugs.org)."

Although an actual brain scan was performed the explanation was totally fraudulent.

My personal opinion is that people should stop being so naive, we have been lied to about drugs by our governments by more than 100 years.
It started with simple propaganda like reefer madness,
30rtvk5.jpg

1p11WzY

this wouldn't work any more, people are more informed, pictures and descriptions of people getting in a murderous rage after smoking a joint wouldn't be believed any more.
So the lies have become much more sophisticated, and as shown in the example above scientists and popular media figures are used nowadays.

Especially people on this community should be suspicious of all the claims about how much harm cannabis is supposed to do.
This is the end of my rant.

My dyna coil just came in the mail....... Wow better than i expected. amazing low temp dabs, goodbye organic vape cotton!
I assume dynacoils should be rolling out in abundance very shortly. Looking forward to the feedback. @Squiby I look forward to your review.

I passed on the ultrasonic cleaner. Yall convinced me it wasn't a necessity. Is a dab press a necessity?
After reading through the dabpress thread I'm almost convinced it's a great investment. Leaning Towards the bj6t35. Never tried rosin but I'm extremely interested in trying some. Do yall feel rosin is 'better' than whole flowers?

If you never tried rosin before the cheap hair straightener method is enough to get an idea of the whole rosin thing, its very affordable and simple to handle. If this gets you hooked you could advance to the presses I would suggest.

I'm still happy with the hair straightener method for pressing a gram from time to time. The investment of over 400$ for presses would take a very long time to benefit from the better revenues, if ever. At least in my case (consuming 2-3g of flowers a month).
