Hey all! Hope you doing well.
It's been a long time, I think, since I shared something with you guys, and I have also been a few dozens of pages behind, due to life I guess, so I felt like sharing my nearly finalized and freshly cleaned vapestation until I catch up. I hope nothing mind-bending happens these days... :p
o2plg.jpg

Since I started vaping and generally in life these last few years I like to pursue simplicity and minimalism and live with gradually fewer and fewer things around me. I find it makes me happier in general... So one of my goals with vaping was to find that one vape that would just do everything well enough and become the One. I think there is still some road ahead, cause I still feel I need a Fury 2 or an XVape Fog in my life for some few scenarios where the Omni is just not a sensible solution, and one of them is coming for sure as soon as I decide which one, but I feel I am pretty damn close with just two vapes (one needs a back up as well, right?) after 8 years of searching and spending money around on a dozen or more of them. There was always something missing or not done right but that damn Omni seems to check most of the boxes for me. I have been comparing it to many vapes since I got it a couple of years back I think (?) but none has given me this amazing vapor signature my Omni gives so far. Fury 2 comes really close but I would sure like it on demand and with a replaceable battery to be able to become the One. I am a romantic, I know, but it feels gooooood! :D
A big thanks again to George and his crew for this wonderful thing they brought to the world!
Be well people!

Anyone here using a Rocket stove for cooking/heating??
What about a micro rocket for a VapCap?

May save a lot of butane gas....
Any thoughts?
PD: the picture is not mine by the way.
This heater together with a VC make the perfect post apocalyptic combo

Wood burns a lot less clean than butane, so you’d at least get your cap dirtier.

It seems like a reasonable alternative heater when you don’t have a torch available, but I wouldn’t want to use it on a regular basis for this if I had cleaner burning options.

Of course, not on a regular basis.
Although you may be surprised on how clean and efficient a rocket stove is.

Hey, @natural farmer! Good to know you are still vapin with your Omni!

One slight tweak you might consider, the free flow version of the Ti tip, with wings for dimples. :spliff:

Small tweak, big returns? :smug:

I was wondering how much those cutouts on the newest titanium tips improve air flow.
Thinking about maybe trying to cut out the same shape on a stainless steel tip. I have the tools to do it, just not sure if it would be worth it or if any other people have tried it yet?

Many have tried and succeeded...this is a relatively old hack and does indeed improve the airflow on a SS tip. I’ve only only done it to one of my M17’s, but is a definite improvement. Just grab a tapered needle file and go to town...

I feel like that would stink. Light any piece of wood or paper on fire in the house and see how much it stinks.

alright guys, ive already made 2 posts which includes my backdrop, so ill save the reading this go around.
new, just got a session portable vape, first vape but long time smoker.
i didnt understand session vs on demand how i thought i did, and what i kind of want is to pick up one of these next month.
the m seems like base level, and not bad for the price (if its really as cool as you guys say it is!)
that said, im not opposed to something a bit higher in price, if its actually worth the cost.
i assume this thing is something i could literally heat, hit, and dissapear so to speak, super stealthy. those induction heaters, are any portable in any way, or is a torch the best option (here we have crackheads for days and it honestly looks a bit sketchy)

no water adapters interest me, i want straight stealth at home and on the go, is this right for me? anything i should know going into it, they can get a bit pricey and want to make an informed decision, and it will be weeks before i comb through this whole thread to be honest.
hows it smell? does it give off a crazy odor when not in use? can i blow it out a window and not be obviously vaping or is that not possible?
thanks guys!

What are if any, the major differences between the original to the Omni series? It just cosmetics? Beautiful pieces, but 150, 160, $170 seems a bit off the rocker to me for what they truly are.

from looking at some reviews, other than material and length, the carb holes are slightly different, the airflow for the bowl is a large single instead of two double improving airflow, and some cosmetic things as well like a smaller logo.
i really want this and my first vape hasnt even gotten here yet

He has a doll house and separate laundry facility with a lab under it. That’s where Heisenberg works over the micro stove.

Is this a Copenhagen interpretation, or is Schrödinger's cat involved in Heisenberg’s quantum
Dynamics. Can duality really be measured with the micro stove? Please help me Niel it.:myday:

Fuckin aye! The eclipse is progressing!

I sort of get what you're saying. However, I have 3 vapcaps and the Omni is the one I reach for most of the time.
It's weird because I can't really say why, but my Omni seems to perform better than my M or my Vong. I seem to get the biggest and most flavorful hits from my Omni. I like the adjustable bowl size of the Ti tip, and the adjustable airflow, so just set it and forget it. I get consistency that way also. I think once a person gets into the VC, the more they will want to try the others.
If I'm giving someone advice about getting a VC, my answer is to get the M. Its cheap so if you dont like it you wont be out much. The M is a fine vape in its own right. Its all you may ever need. If you like the M and feel like delving further into the madness, then it will all be there to purchase. You will find these things are like Legos and some of us enjoy mixing things up for variety. It's actually alot of fun but definitely hurts the wallet. ;)

Thanks. Yeah I figured someone had to have done this already. Seems like an easy enough thing to try to do and doesn't seem to easy to screw it up unless you go crazy filing it down.

Been using the DynaVap daily since I won the ‘M’ a month ago.
The Ti tip upgrade totally worth it.
The IH from pipes took it to the next level :2c:
Anyone on the fence should go for it...especially using it as a daily driver.

How much does one of these IR heaters cost? How long have you had it? Is it still working flawless? Did you have any issues with it??

I have been using an alcohol lamp from Amazon for the last 6 mos. It does leave a little soot on the cap, but I have a dark wood XLS and mouthpiece, and it looks pretty cool. Just wipe the cap off so it doesn't get on your hands... I KNOW... PICTURES DA

Timewarp again.. I apologize for the multiple postings. Using a bluetooth keyboard that's low on charge so I had a stuck key.

It’s $125 made by FC member @Pipes
He has other versions available.
I’ve had it for a little over a month with no issues whatsoever.

:mmmm: I can attest that with @Pipes MINI Portside, the VapCap experience is unparalleled;
Almost a revolution in VapCap’s evolution. YMMV (I tend to dwell in hyperbole, hehe) :spliff:

I have hope he will soon design a smaller, more compact version for EDC.
