I have a Ti woody (standard size) that has a second generation tip (I believe, 7 fins). I bought it back around February of 2016. I would like to upgrade it a bit as the thin wood stem is split on one end and the tip doesn't sit well in the body.

I just want to check on my options. I imagine the second gen tip would fit in any standard sized body using my standard condenser? Do the current o-ring replacements still fit a 2016 old condenser?

I also wanted to ask about the Ti tip itself. Would the current titanium CCD's and o-rings fit in my second gen tip? Mine has the original ceramic screen that requires a clip to be seated on top of the screen. I would also welcome any other suggestions on upgrading this older VC.

The tip diameter has not changed with successive generations. Likewise, the x-rings for the standard condenser have not changed. The current CCD screens will fit your tip.

You have a lot of options available to you. From the stock Dynavap midsections your condenser will accommodate either:

A 45mm VonG or straight titanium body and a 17mm spinning mp.
Or
A 62mm VonG or straight titanium stem.

Another option would be to buy a standard XL or XL Omni condenser/mp assembly and fit it with the 62mm stem of your choice. If you choose an standard XL condenser, you will need a spinning mp as well. This set up will result in a 17mm longer Vapcap that many people enjoy. Beyond replacing your midsection, I would recommend upgrading your tip to the current 6th generation. The improvements in the tip are significant and offer much greater airflow, a higher convection/conduction ratio and adjustable screen ridges that allow you to adjust your herb chamber to three different sizes.

You also have the option of going with an after market artist.

@phattpiggie makes wood or acrylic stems and bodies. You can get a body of stem to accommodate your condenser or you can choose a longer or shorter midsection with an integrated condenser. In this case you just push your tip onto your custom piece and don't use your standard Vapcap condenser.

So I bought my M earlier this year when I was reading all the rave reviews and was left disappointed and sat it on my RAW tray to collect dust for months.

I watched VCBud hit it on his recent youtube vid and decided to revisit my M.

I must say that I enjoyed it much more than i remembered. I think taking one long draw as opposed to trying to fit/time two draws has increased my satisfaction. Getting huge clouds that taste great and feels good.

Might have to look into induction heaters....

I think another thing that throws some people (including me for a while) is the need for some pressure if you want clouds. You can get a pretty light hit by just putting your lips on the mouthpiece and breathing in gently and slowly, but if you suck on it like a straw a little the vapor really pours out!

There are many ways to use/hit these Dynavap Vapcap vaporizers. Take time and experiment with different heating methods and draw styles.

I know that I sometimes prefer a torch, and sometimes an induction heater. There are different heating techniques of heating with both of those methods that produce different results/experiences as well. I switch my heating method game up all the time, depending on my mood.

Furthermore, sometimes I like to hit it with the carb at some point of open, with differing techniques of feathering/priming the hit with the carb, and long deep lung-pulls. And then, sometimes I'm in the mood to hit it with the carb completely closed/covered, and I do more tasty stacked mouth-to-lung hits.

Sometimes I want to use it with a water-tool.

Basically, have fun, be merry, and mind your click the way you want to mind your click. But most importantly, experiment...because the techniques that work best for others might not work best for you, and the techniques that you find work best for you may not work best for others.

Thanks for the compliments. I was just trying out a few things. Firstly the body has eight sides like a softened pencil shape, and then the three horizontal slits do provide airflow, but probably a touch more than std DV carb hole size. Haven't used it so can't comment.

@VaporWare The stem is made from titanium, so perfectly safe.

@Moses Baca Thanks, I'll have a load of stems/bodies on my page by next week, mostly more traditional than this one though :)

Yup missing the cool down click is the reason I've accidentally combusted all 3 times since I got my 1st vapcap like 8 months ago. And honestly I know it's easy to clean but I kind of dislike it and put it off and use my other vapcap more for a few days. Then I finally clean the 1st one and it's so easy and not a pain in the ass that I just do my other vapcap afterwards.

Do you get full terpene profile with Darts? I wish I could have that dilemma.... concentrated carts... not possible in my surroundings.:shrug:
