You guys are eroding my brain cells...used ironically / facetiously / sarcastically in reference to a thing stupidly easy to grasp...or to those struggling with said non-existent curve

That's not completely true.. I had very few problems, combusted a couple of times, you have to make adjustment every time you refill/switch torches but I agree it's intuitive for many, especially seasoned joint smokers or people who haven't been seduced by Bluetooth connected electronic devices.
But some people aren't nimble with their fingers, or are downright clumsy, or have Parkinson's etc.

Les, have you determined if it is an induction heater, or is it an infra red heater. :sherlock:

An infra red Heater will heat non-metallic objects as well as a VapCap.

Would get one myself if there was a non-corded version.

Definitely induction, typical Chinglish wording by some sellers, there is nothing infra red about it! The sellers are referring to the proximity sensor that automatically turns the device on and off when ever a metallic item is inserted, no button to push or pressing down with the Vapcap to activate.

I filed grooves into my M tip a short while ago. They are quite large and they improve the airflow a lot. Taking a draw with the carb partially closed the entire time feels easy on the lungs and I can usually clear the chamber in 1-2 hits (dark to very dark brown AVB).

I like Thehedonistclub and Vapefiend here in the UK
Sometimes it works out cheaper for me to buy from them anyway

thehedonistclun.co.uk is an awesome site. Very reliable and TD can't do enough for you (customer service). Based in the UK and I couldn't praise them enough .That would be my first stop.

Just to share the love, I've also used Namaste Vape (co.uk). Good prices but lacks the human touch .As well as Vape Fiend (co.uk). Again satisfactory but faceless and I personally like to know who I'm dealing with :)

Hope that helps :)

My comments were toward the banter, not toward your reasonable observation that there IS a learning curve with ‘Caps whether using flame of induction. Your comments about dexterity issues is also on point.

Ah ok. So more for non-US customers.

Regarding the learning curve, is it possible to combust while respecting the click? Maybe I’ve just been lucky, or maybe it’s because I’m too new at it all to trust going past the click, but haven’t had to worry about combusting yet.

I'm one week into my new Dynavap M and liking it so far. I'm still not sure about a few things. Can I use one of the spinning mouth pieces on the dynavap model without getting a different condenser ? It would certainly make my spinning / heating technique easier. also, is the draw resistance supposed to be very hard ? I feel like I'm trying to suck a milkshake thru a straw thats too small. any tips or tricks would be welcome. normally I would read the FC thread but 1451 pages is a little more than I have time for. thanks in advance

Anything's possible. One way to combust while respecting the click might be to use extremely dry crumbly bud and heat it with the big flame of a plumbers torch. I bet that would combust. Where there's a will there's a way.

You can add a spinning mouthpiece to the m, but you need an xl condenser.

Regarding draw resistance, do you mean it is that tight with the carb covered? With the carb open it shouldn’t be that tight.

Remember there is a “best of” for dynavap, with tons of great info, and only several pages long.

interesting! Definitely good to know.

Sounds like you're doing it right . I guess if you took a blowtorch set to full blast right up against it, your load would combust in a flash, and you'd likely destroy the cap, if not the tip :freak: but otherwise try to maintain a steady distance and a swift twirling motion. :leaf:

The spinning mp is held in place by the condenser which sits in the neck of the tip and goes through the midsection and mp, if there is one.

The condenser in the M is a regular length condenser that accommodates a 62mm configuration. The M stem is 62mm long so there is no room to place a mp onto the condenser.

You have two options; change the condenser or change the midsection/mp configuration.

If you keep your regular condenser you can switch the M stem for a 45mm body and a mp which is 17mm, making up the required 62mm.

If you buy an XL condenser it will accommodate a 79mm configuration. So it will take your M stem plus a mp.

The ss M tip has fewer side air channels and no grooves on the tip, so the air restriction is a bit greater than the ti tips. You can file a groove in the tip of your tip to match up with the exterior channels with a small file. You could also increase the depth of the exterior channels to reduce air restriction.

My favorite toking technique is to mouthpull rather than a direct to lung toke. To do this, cover the air intake hole and pull vapor into your mouth like you are puffing on a cigar or drawing liquids into your mouth via a straw. Then once the vapor is in your mouth, remove your finger from the air intake and inhale fresh clean cool air along with the vapor.

Read our best of thread. It's only 2 pages and contains lots of tips and techniques that may be helpful.

This is probably a dumb question, but is there a way to see the signature lines if one is on mobile? I’ve never actually been on this forum on a desktop.
I just opened FC up on my mobile and I can't see a way to see signatures. There must be one and it may be browser specific, but I don't know what it is. I'll keep lookin...

OK, it seems to be a change that would have to be made in the software, and given that we don't really have admin access to it right now there is nothing that can be done about it for now.

I did just try the forum in my fire tablet and got no signatures in vertical mode, but they show in horizontal mode. So, as the discussion of the XENFORO software on the web suggests, it seems to be a setting in the software that disables the signatures if the screen you are on is not wide enough. And no, I don't know what the threshold is.

Wow. Just turned my phone sidewise and lo and behold, signatures! Thanks! Good to know I can check them that way.

That's great. Apparently my phone screen isn't big enough to activate the feature, but I rarely read the forum on my phone so no problem for me. And Sigs aren't really essential anyway (other than squiby's of course), they are just nice. :p
