Has anyone ever suggested to Dynavap to create a concentrate cap, one that clicks at a higher temperature for vaping concentrates?

Also, my 2018M body has chip marks on each end, I just thought this was standard and if you wanted better machining you buy an Omni, I might try to tidy up myself. I only noticed it when I pulled my tip and condenser off to attach directly into my 14mm male/male gong(fits perfectly with a slightly larger o-ring on bottom cap seat.)

I just saw on the FB page they had stainless tips for sale. I thought maybe the 18M tip? It looks like a 17 but no problem it wont let me buy it anyways.....not that I was going to.I just wanted to see whats what. I thought maybe it was a FB sale sence we didnt have a weekly sale.

@LesPlenty now that is an idea to run by George. Some ideas sound good but are not achievable at low cost. This should be easy......or maybe not.....George?

Seems unnecessary to me, since you can already change how hot the load gets by where and how you heat the cap. I don't have access to a ton of concentrates, but any time I've had them I've had no problem making them work in a standard set up. We really just need a standardized concentrate insert for the tip in my mind

The hottest the cap clicks at is 200c, concentrates are best over 260c at a minimum for best extraction from what I have heard

Like I said, no concentrate expert. But I do see a lot of people saying their vapcap works better for them than their dedicated concentrate vapes and my own experiences show that it works fine. Maybe slower than with something with higher heat, but I couldn't say

I found it pretty simple to use my single flame and go past the click by a second or two when heating at the base of the cap. I know that they could make bi metallic discs that clicked when hotter but that's more R&D and people could forget that they have a concentrates cap and use it with herb. I just don't see the need for a separate cap.

Yea the 6 dollar shipping really is the big sell for me, plus I love sneaky Pete's YouTube videos I know he sells alot of what he reviews but his demos are very professional and really helps to get an idea of a product if you don't have it in your hands yet

An alternative doob tube for the XL models .

Inside these 25 ml tubes ( screw on cap ) the XL Omnis & Woodies fit perfectly -
But NOT the XL VONG models .
No rattle .Totally odor -proof .
In EU is relatively easy to find them in pharmacy stores .
They usually come in transparent brown or opaque white color.
Have seen them also in transparent cobalt blue & opaque black color ,
but those are not easy to find .

Take off the original label ,use some baby oil to take off the glue residue
and you can then apply a sticker of your choice to decorate the doob tube ,if you wish so.
Fits perfectly a "Dynavap" sticker .

I gotta question if it doesnt get buried in the super thread...i got an older dynastash used from a member but it has a hole in it..i thibk its from a wax jar of some sort but its tiny..anyone know where i can grab one to make it look right..

If it's about 3/8" in diameter and 1/8" deep it is where the magnet was. Check out a new one on their site and you might see what I mean. Also, replacements are everywhere but beware magnets can be cut 2 ways. You need the right one.

I recently discovered that Chinese nectar collector tips work as great Dynavap bodies. I've tried both the 14 and 18mm tips and found that the 18mm fits absolutely perfectly. No wobble or fear of it falling out like the 14mm. If you don't have a Dynavap already I wouldn't say it's more advantageous to buy a tip and one these vs. an M but, if you DO already have a tip this is great really cheap alternative/back up. Also if you're someone who covers the carb completely you won't have to worry since there is none.

I made the herb compartment accommodate an Aomai lighter by first drilling the hole deep enough to accommodate the lighter then I took a small file and worked on the diameter. It took some elbow grease but wasn't hard to do. Support the sides as you work so you don't put any stress on it. For example when filing the interior, place the stash on a flat surface and file while pressing against the side protected by the flat surface.
