I can't understand the reasoning behind this kind of sale. It's been proven over and over during the weekly flash sales that the infrastructure the site runs on cannot handle a surge in traffic - offering 40% off for 20 minutes is a sure way to frustrate customers.

But it's also a way to reward the lucky and persistent. They can't afford to give 40 percent discounts all day, I'm sure. Would you prefer no 40 percent discount at all? Admittedly, it was extremely hectic. But it was almost enjoyable to me for that

Just my 0.02, but if you look at the posts on this thread, the ratio of unsatisfied to satisfied customer is tipped way in the wrong direction, but George is free to host sales any way he likes.

I wouldn't consider myself a consumer who gets hyped by sales but Dynavap brings out something dark inside of me

Managed to make it out with an omni stem and a Ti spinning mouth piece for $50 though so I'm pretty happy.

Well, i guess im one of the lucky ones. I almost check out 3 times, and the sites crashes. The 4th try went ok, so i got a Nonavong-S + Mistery Dynastash, and 2 M, all for 156 bucks.

It is safe, but prices revert to 20% discount. Careful! I almost did not notice, came close to completing sale

I didn't get much on the sale, but an etched cap, a dynamag (I've been wanting one FOREVER but always forget when buying other things), one of the new Poseidon lighters and some torches for 36 dollars I'm really happy

That's something to consider, and maybe they'll decide to never do this again. But People who are satisfied are less likely to post about it too. They probably do need to adjust it since so many are not cool with it, but I think it was a genius idea even going into it expecting there to be a lot of drop outs. For 40 percent off it's worth the stress

Ha, same. I normally laugh at all the crazy people around sale times.. But dynavap falls so heavily in the "really want but really don't need" camp that the sales become a serious temptation. And at 40% discount it's basically impossible to not scratch that itch..
