Are any of you concerned that you may be inhaling hexavalent chromium by using a stainless steel piece with a torch? Are you supposed to soak/clean the 'M' before use? I have heard that SS especially likes to hold onto oils from manufacturing that if you don't clean could end up being inhaled. Personally, I like being able to use a new device without having to clean it before using it. Also, I believe that after use I would become paranoid that I inhaled some metal compound, so I am not sure that this would be the best device for me. I am completely intrigued, though, I cannot afford the TI model. Cheers!

If it isn’t already implemented, surely Geo & Co would have QC inspection procedures at the end of the production line. You think?

If the SS scares the shit outer youse, send it to me, I will help you.

Or, you can always up yourself to a Porsche, and be happy racing down Ventura Highway with a smiling Omni.

i've said it all, now.

Excited to see and feel the performance of the brandnew/ retro 7 fin ti tip. That's how cool George and them are.... folks expressed interest in another run or version of the 7 fin legendary tip. Team dv rose to the occasion and gave the people what they wanted, albeit with a new 'twist'. Well, I think it looks like something from space and can't wait to put it through extensive testing here at the lab. Now it says out of stock on the website, glad I moved when I did. When I receive it, a full review will follow.( compared to latest grey ring 5 fin, and the black ring 5 fin from before. ) if there a difference I feel like I'll feel it/ discern it but who knows. Either way thanks George and team, and thanks a bunch to F.C. Cheers !! D.

Well the 7 fins are listed as OUT OF STOCK. Ti MP still available. Does that mean no more 7 fins? Are all the orders in production now?

Hello @NayiZindagi and welcome to the forum. Glad you found us. Since you don't have access to flowers and using an M, there is enough info here that might help you get the most out of your Charas.
Some use things like hemp fibre etc.

I think the M might be the best choice of vapcaps as well. Conduction may be desirable? Glad you getting along well with your vape as well.
This morning SUNDAY a DAY of CANNABIS and "M" usage after EXPRESSO:

The "M" from VAPCAP is a great invention!

This is how I saw your post this AM...
UPHBZ25.jpg

Just your snakehead mouthpiece. It looked alive. Must still have a buzz from last night.

So, we all have a little bit (at least) of objectophilia, it shouldn't be a surprise as these devices do improve most of our lives. I certainly breath better after giving up combustion, I get to the real flavors of the strains that were only hinted at when burned, and the process doesn't make me a pariah in that I can be in the room next door and not disgust non consumers with the "nasty" and profound smell that comes with combusting herb and invariably gets absorbed by clothing and goes "with me". Vaping is an improvement over smoking in so many ways that, for those who choose to make cannabis a significant part of their lives, the devices that make that possible without being omnipresent can become objects of great affection.

VapCaps really have changed the game for many due to their size and effectiveness. They fit easily in a pocket or a bag and if well managed aren't noticeable to anyone who might object. And they are MONSTERS of efficiency and effectiveness and even provide some entertainment in their mix and match nature.

I guess my point here is don't feel bad if you love your VapCap. It doesn't even qualify as kinky. Just don't expect "her" to love you back... ;)

The way I use my Omni is generally to leave the carb open and adjust the airflow until it's right where I want it. I test the adjustment by tapping my finger on the carb hole and seeing how much the draw resistance changes.

The idea is to dilute the vapour to a more comfortable level for me, and also cool it down so it doesn't burn my lips.

I like that I can adjust air flow with my omni, sometimes i do adjust with drier, hotter vaping herb, but I find myself mostly using them with the carb closed. (blame @Squiby and her posting about mouth pulls, lol) I prefer closed carb when using a water tool with a vap cap as well.

I've moved the condensers forward in my non omni vap caps to in effect close the carb like the omni does. On a wood vong with a wood spinning mouth piece I just turned the mouth piece around so it fit with less condenser tube since it was short on the mouth piece end after I moved the condenser closer to the tip. Works well that way.

Anyway there are many paths up the mountain but they all get to the same place.

Man, this thread moves fast. Can someone catch me up on the new 7-fin tip? It looks awesome but I see it's limited time only.
Is this rolling out eventually as a new design and is it better than normal tips?

Also whatever happened to the Woody? I see that it's sort of there in the Dynabuilder.

Hello everyone....Namaste from India !

I am a Dynavap and generally a vaping newbie. After reading heaps of online stuff and especially this website and this thread, I took the plunge and ordered my first vaporizer - the Vapcap M.

I only have access to good quality Charas, the traditional hash from northern India. No flowers sadly.

I have only had my Vapcap for less than 24 hours - but I think I may be getting the hang of it and it might just work with our Charas from India. I am very happy to report that after fiddling around with it sinze yesterday, I am finally sitting here on my couch and feeling nicely medicated right now.

I am sure it will only get better once I get the hang of it a bit more. And also once I receive the torch lighter that I ordered online . Till now I have been heating it using a zippo lighter and a candle.

Cheers have a nice sunday you all!

What technique are you using to vape your charas? What grade charas do you have? In my experience you have still do the burning with a lighter or torch on a key thing. Otherwise you might not feel much from vaping it. After you've "cooked it" smoosh it onto your cotton or hemp or whatever and vape like normal.

The 7-fin is a group buy type deal. It's not really much different from the 5th generation tips and is nearly identical to the 4th generation tips. I have both 4th and 5th generation and they are both very similar. It's mostly an aesthetic difference and also a practical one if you get a vertigo tron lighter.

Personally I think the whole Tron lighter in the grooves thing is kinda silly and leaves about 1/4 of the cap never getting any heat and some parts getting too much, but my view may be colored by the fact that I have gotten quite comfortable spinning my VC in a torch flame. Even heating is a big part of successful VC use for me. Maybe not for everyone. If you are struggling I can see how this might help.

It is kind of silly but that's the joy of the vapcap. Tangible difference in performance based on the heat source. I normally use my xikar allume double flame but sometimes it's fun to switch it up. Also it's actually kind of hard to use the Tron in the grooves. Maybe I need to shave off some more material but it kinds of hangs and it's quite different from spinning it.

I've only had my induction heater a few weeks but GOOD RIDDANCE flame... I guess it's nice in case of emergency but the vapcap plus @Pipes portside mini is absolutely phenomenal. Charges in a little less than an hour and for me lasts all day.

Interested to see what kind of IH George will come up with. Should hit @Pipes up with any questions tho:tup:

I love my Vapcap and I know it loves me by the way it makes me feel when we're together.

We had asked George to re-manufacture the coveted 4th generation 7 fin ti tip. During last Thursdays broadcast George introduced a limited edition remodeled 7 fin ti tip, similar to the 4th gen tip but with finely tipped stylized fins. It went up for sale on the Dynavap website Thursday night. It shows as sold out now. But watch last Thursday's broadcast, below, and get in on the contest to win a ti Blackwood VonG with a solid sterling silver spinning mp.

The straight wood body/stem Vapcaps have been phased out. George said they may reintroduce some again in interesting wood species as limited editions. The thicker more robust VonGs midsection are the stock wood options now.

Thanks for the detailed response! The different tips were what really confused me when I was first buying a Vapcap since they looked so different on various websites. :p

As for the Woody, that's a real shame. That's what attracted me to Vapcaps in the first place. The M that I have is great, but I love the polished wood on the Woody. The Vong just doesn't look as neat.

That said, I'm dying to add a new Vapcap to my collection. :D I think I'll wait for something brand new, though.

I absolutely love my Jarhead (plug in IH) and use it most of the time when at home.
I also love firing up my VCs with my torches when out and about. Some day I may consider a portable IH, but for now the torches do the deed quite admirably. My first choice is my triple, but my doubles and singles get their time at bat as well.

If straight wood stems are no longer available I will miss them and be glad I got my blackwood woody before that happened. I imagine if George chooses not to make them Ed and others probably will as I think there is still a market for them. But I certainly understand their greater failure rate and wouldn't be surprised to see them go up a little in price to make up for that...
