Please forgive me 4 my ignorance behavior?
i have a SS tip and it seem's to work fine?
Is TI better and why? (EMPIRICAL INFO)

What I'm I missing?

For me @ataxian I love the Ti tip because I can set the bowl size. I like to micro-dose so the M with the SS tip just has a bowl that is too large for how I like to consume cannabis.

So...You might not be missing a thing. From what I can tell you like to use your vapcap in a water piece right? I've heard that a lot of folks like the SS tip especially for water because the slower cool down of the SS allows for longer bigger hits.

The Ti tip heats faster and cools quicker. But again, that suits me but may not suit you.

Again, I'm not sure you're missing anything. This is one of those areas where there's not a right and a wrong, or good and bad, or better or best. It's about what works for you.

I'm just digging that most everyone digs Dynavap.

To combust or not to combust, that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer.
The slings and arrows of combustuous misfortune.
Or to take arms against the vapor of troubles. And just don't heat the tip so much.

Anyways, wood porn on a school night.

Where did you get the key case? I live in Ontario Canada, is it from ebay?
Yes. It's from eBay. I've had mine for a few years now and it makes a great case for the Vapcap and also is just a great all around keychain.

Is TI better and why?
The titanium tips have all the below and whistles.
- A titanium tip is lighter in weight.
- The bowl can be adjusted to three depths.
- Titanium heats up faster and cools quicker.
- The neck has an extra oring.
- There is an extra air heating channel on the exterior of the tip.
- The extra channel creates a greater convection/conduction ratio.
- The top of the channels are ground grooves for better air flow.

The stainless steel tip is probably better for outdoor use as it hold its heat longer, a plus in windy cold weather.

Both are great. It's personal preference and intended use. I prefer the ti tips.

316L stainless steell tip vs Titanium 99.75 (Grade 2 ) tip

Heating power / time
: Titanium tip needs half power or half time than ss tip to reach the click point !
Sometimes ,when outdoors that difference becomes quite a ..need! ;)

Cooling time: A Titanium tip cools much faster than a ss tip.

Draw resistance : The Titanium tip has (suited for its characteristics ) smaller draw resistance than the ss tip.

Weight : Ti tip has less than half mass of the ss tip.

Taste : Titanium does not affect taste by any means. SS has a taste of it's own .
And it may neutralise certain aromas, also.

Cleaning :Titanium tip is far more easy to clean ,as Titanium surface is not an easy surface to stain ( as is rather impossible to paint, ).

Extra O-ring : Better air sealing & sturdier hold .

3x chamber volume options : Very useful to some .Specially micro-dozers !

More or less...

I find that after using both an M and Ti tips...... I get much better tastes from my Ti tips. The SS tip sort of mutes the tastes to me. I prefer the Ti tips even when using concentrates.

I also only use the tips with glass bodies and no condensers......through water only so the direct comparison of each tip is more defined without any other parts distorting the air path.

Thanks for the link, one question about your use of wax with the SS pads. Have you ever had wax go into the clicker? Or does the pads wick up the wax?

It was a good day at the mailbox!
I've been waiting on my PS mini, the nonavong-s and the two stems are are from Thursdays flash sale, the vong wasn't on sale, that was more of a "as long as I am shopping" kind of thing.
That was some super fast shipping!

I am happy for you @ArthurJ . Those vongs look really sweet. Enjoy. I have a Portside arriving this week so I'm only a little jealous. But I can't wait to pair my vapcaps with an IH. Have fun with that and share your results with us please.

I'll pull the trigger on some of those Vongs when I've reloaded my DynaCa$h.

Thank you, Dynavap I just received my flash sale of the two new wood vong bodies and a xl omni condenser. The order also included a titanium tip as a freebie, this made my day.

I also wanted to post about how much I like the new dark wood( ipe ) I believe it is called. The grain and density is similar to blackwood, the light wood is winner too.

Thank you 4 a straight answer!

I love my "M" and I find it to work perfect 4 H2O path.

TI I made some COIL'S 4 my ATOMIZER out of it.
SS seem to have the best result flavor wise?

My DRIVER'S (GOLF) are TI and my TOUR BIKE and I like the lightness.

Just curious?

Why R food producer mainly using SS?

It's considered GMP complainant?
FLOWER and ROSIN = at HOME.
ROSIN with MOD out & about.
I use my "M" with water mostly.

Maybe it's GENERATIONAL & GEOGRAPHIC reasons? (WHERE were at?)

Better? I don't think it is that type of dichotomy. As in one excluding the other. More like they overlap a great deal. Where one functions a little better at storing heat more (SS) and the other at quickly storing and releasing it's energy (Ti).
I would say the Ti works a little different and agree with what everyone else has been mentioning here. There is no negative to owning an M, Just that the Ti offers a different heat profile and is designed with more grooves that run deeper. Examine the two side by side. There is more millwork as well as lighter mass materials. Less mass to heat and release and work it's magic.

Why R food producer mainly using SS?
$$$. High end camp cookware that uses Ti, costs more. As one example.

WHY TI when the SS work's perfect?
The M with the SS tip came well after Ti as a VALUE vape option. It succeeded. All the other vapcaps use Ti. Older Ti's has more mass to them and function differently than the revised generations. So the M might work nearly as well as first gen Ti with it's greater mass?
George is always refining things. That is certainly part of the equation.

I haven't but someone else here mentioned having a problem. I can't remember who.

The concentrate melts into the stainless steel pad. I push enough concentrate into the pad to last me several microdose sessions consisting of one heat cycle each. I keep the Vapcap in a horizontal position while hot and after I've finished toking to prevent any of the remaining melted concentrate from dropping into the condenser or into the cap. After its cooled, any position is fine. So far, using this approach, I've not had a problem.

@asdf420 These are only like, my opinions and stuff man.
SS tip doesn't have near the level of machining/finishing, that's why it's much less. Titanium is more $ than SS, but I'd wager that a big chunk of the additional cost in the omni/ti parts is down to the extra machining and finishing hours. The machines are big and expensive, not to mention costly to run in terms of consumables, maintenance, and skilled people being paid a living wage. The SS tip costs less because of reduced machining and finishing time, in addition to material used.

Looking at both tips next to each other was the lightbulb moment for me personally.
